Love this place, they are great with my two kids. We moved here about a year and a half ago and my…read morekids have seen them 3 times for their checkups and cleanings. They always have a good visit, the texting confirmation thing is awesome and really helps me keep track. The office staff is helpful and friendly, both on the phone and in person. Thanks to Yelp for helping me find this place, I'm lucky I didn't have to search!

I appreciate the systematic kids focused dentist experience here. We have been going here since my…read moredaughter turned 2. The check in process is simple and they have you sign any necessary forms as you arrive. Any payment is taken care of at the end. Reception staff are always kind and attentive. Most forms that I need to sign are prefilled with my daughters name and the date. In the waiting room, there is a play area for kids with books, legos, a play kitchen, and hand sanitizer is available too. They have one tv in the front that plays a movie, and that movie continues in the back when they take the kids back. We have never waited long and are usually called back pretty quickly. The dental hygienists and RDAs are all very friendly. They all have kind personalities and it definitely feels like they were called to work with kiddos. The first couple of visits, as our daughter was getting used to the idea of a dentist visit, they allowed her to sit in my lap and tilted her back to check out her teeth. (I also have caught on that as she ages, there is one thing they add to the appointments each time. They kind of just brushed her teeth and felt her teeth at age 2/2.5-they they did an x-ray at 3 but only of certain angles, then they added the scraping tool, and did x-rays of more angles. I think that helps kids adapt to the dentist and also doesn't throw everything at once.) 1.5 years and a few visits later, she lays on the table and watches the movie while they work. She enjoys using the sunglasses offered for the bright light! There is also a train table in the back, and in between the DH/RDA visit and the Dentists visit they let the kids go play if they want. We usually only get about 5-8 minutes with the dentist, but this is not unlike any other dentist office. We have seen Dr. Kunkel and Dr. Addie, and we thought both were great and offered good suggestions and encouragement. They have also been clear about treatment plans, if any, and answer all of our questions. Reason for loss of star: I will say, the only thing that may not be enjoyed by some families, is lack of privacy in the main treatment area. The treatment tables are side by side 4 on each side, in an open space. I think the most patients at one time that I have seen are 6. This configuration definitely helps kids understand the visit process, they can see other kids having their cleanings and maybe younger ones catch on that "it's not that bad". But then if a kid is upset, the rest that are present hear and see that too. Additionally, the lack of privacy has lead to our family hearing what is going on with another kiddos teeth and the treatment they have to go through, when really you would think due to HIPPA, that would/should be a more private conversation. For me, and our family, we don't mind...yet. I also know they do have private rooms too- but I'm unsure what those are used for/we have never been offered that as an option for cleanings. So maybe if privacy is a concern for you and your family, ask about options for private space? With that we would still recommend!

Having first apt for my 3yr w Dentist it was very comfortable and welcoming for younger kids... Dr. K was very clam collective and mostly personable with our girls to make our girls feel comfortable. Today we went in there for couple sealant for my 11 yr old. Karen was truly the best highlight of today's visit... she knows exactly how to be personable with 11yrs old girl. Karen made Aastha happy and helped her over come anxiety... great Doctor and amazing staff... Aastha told me she only wants Karen helping Dr. K when she goes there... I recommend everyone to take their kids to Dr. K...

My 2 daughters went here temporarily. 4 and 5 yrs old…read more Each had 3 visits or so. 1st one was to do a standard consultation and to ask all the million questions... which is fine. I told them my 4yr old is autistic and will say yes to anything - so asking her questions is not helpful. And my 5 yr old non autistic child is a bit sensitive and that asking her questions is just overwhelming when she's already crying. Long story short - Dr asks my autistic child a million and two question during her treatments, gives her directions to use hands (1 finger it hurts, 2 it hurts more, pinky water, etc etc) whil music is is sooo loud that you can't hear yourself think. What was the point of the consultation if you aren't going to read your notes for following visits. Which I could see those notes where I sit. Dr then proceeds to tell my older daughter (5)during her part treatment that she's ruining everything because she's crying. And asks if she's has been diagnosed with anything. Really? Because she's crying, she must be mentally delayed? Another review had a similar experience which is sad. Also, she asks if she's cried like this during a haircut since it's not normal... really? This dental visit is equivalent to a haircut? That's wild. She lacks empathy, she overwhelming, and just rude for a pediatric dentist. Will not be returning. Pam, the front office lady - is great though! Keep her.
