Today was my first time visit at Sweet Tooth Family Dentistry and I will be a returning. I went in for a general check up and cleaning. The gals working the front were friendly and I was checked in promptly. They do require payment to proceed with the appointment, so be prepared for that. There is coffee and water available in the waiting room. My hygienist was Tori. She was professional and kind. She explained everything she was doing. I really appreciated that. She cleaned my teeth very well and I had minimal discomfort, considering I did have a lot of plaque built up and my teeth are sensitive. She got so much of the plaque off and my teeth feel nice and super clean. Doctor Nish, came in to examine my teeth and images and was happy to answer any questions that I had. Nice doctor. The place of business is super clean and nice vibes. Not to mention their technology is like so high tech. I highly recommend if you are looking for a professional place to take care of your teeth.

They do great. The vibe and the people are perfect. It just seems to take longer than I remember spending in dentist offices.

A Dentist that makes you not dread going to the dentist! I was on the hunt for a new dentist, and…read morefound this one just because I walk by it when I go to Starbucks. When I originally looked on my dental insurance website, it was not giving me their office an option. I'm really glad I looked into it because they are amazing, and it turned out they did accept my insurance. Modern Dentistry is a perfect description for this place. Their website is user friendly, you can book everything online, and fill out all your health questionnaires through it as well, leaving less time sitting in the waiting room! Also, they have some later office hours for those working folks who need a later appointment. And this millennial loves the option to book or change appointments online, and I know I'm not the only one. The office is very new, and they have all the top of the line equipment! Besides just the ease of technology, the office staff is amazing, and Dr. Rigor is top notch, don't let his age fool you, he's THE BEST DENTIST I'VE EVER HAD. Dr. Rigor is very friendly, thorough in explaining everything in detail.. he will even pull up Google and show you images to better explain something. I ended up needing a crown on my first visit, and did it all in house. I left with a "new tooth" that same day. And he guarantees it if anything were to go wrong, which was just a bonus in my opinion. He listened if I told him I needed more numbing. There was absolutely no hesitation to make me comfortable. I have heard horror stories from people not having that same experience so I thought I should note that. And when he tells you call me if you have ANY issues he means it. I had a little bit of pain the next day and thought it was infected, so I called and they got me right in. He took one look at it and knew it was ulcers (don't quote me I'm not a doctor) said he could zap them with the laser and the pain and symptoms would go away within a day, so he did and he was right the pain and symptoms went away. And while I was there I told him the crown felt a little "long" so he quickly shaved it down (completely painless) and I was in and out in just a few minutes. Also, the Dental Hygienist, Rebecca, will make you feel completely at ease, and like you've been best friends forever! Thought it was also important to note the office staff went over my cost, and options of cost BEFORE we proceeded with my crown. So I wasn't just stuck with a bill with no clue my options or how much everything would cost. And I believe for the care I received it was worth the money. I have already referred them to people who ask, and my husband also now goes there and is also happy with them. I know this is a lot to say about a dentists office, but these are things that would be important to me to know when looking for one!

Upon being called for x-rays, I informed the technician that I cannot do the bitewing PLATES due to severe GAGGING on them! I asked for a Pantagraph. Tech. had to ck with Dr Rigor. Dr. Rigor came to me insisting that if HE does not have the bitewing x-ray plates, he could NOT make a clear diagnosis! (My previous Dentist retired several yrs ago in a different city & NEVER had a problem with ONLY using the PANTAGRAPH + oral exam for diagnosis). Dr Rigor then stated (without examining my mouth) to refer me to their "traveling surgeon who would remove my severely loose tooth & BTW remove a broken one next to it!!!! I am a Sr. Citizen & work 12 hr days. He said I could return in the morning for the surgeon OR come at the end of Sept 2026. I stated I cannot. He had me make the appt anyway. I pd a dn pmt. of $100 cancelable 4 biz days prior to the appt. I was livid, As the weeks passed, I had a major trip WITH this bad tooth. I returned realizing I could not trust anyone THERE to take care of my needs. Canceled the appt, got my $ refunded. ALSO, the etiquette of the waiting room/front desk staff was unacceptable. they were visibly EATING while patients were waiting to be seen. they were also loudly talking about what they were going to eat next! Dr.'s Office etiquette in my lifetime NEVER allowed that type of behavior out of respect for the patients with their ailments!!!! This office advertised itself as "ACCOMODATING"!!! I cannot refer ANYONE to them at all!!!

I was, however, sitting in the chair for 3 hours, which took a toll on me -- my appointment was at 8:50 and I was brought in immediately, which was great. It took an hour to do my first two fillings, which was fine, and even when Dr. Larsen left to work on another patient/give me a short break before my last filling, I was still fine because I needed the break and the assistant said he'd be gone only about 10 minutes. He ended up being gone an hour, which didn't initially bother me because I figured maybe something unexpected happened with a patient that required extra time, but I had an empty stomach, and my low blood pressure was starting to effect me. Living 2 hours away meant that I was up at 6 and gone before 7 (for me, that was too early to eat, but I figured I'd only be at the dentist maybe an hour and a half, tops, so it'd be okay) but by the time he came back to start my last filling, it was 11am, and I was going on 5 hours without food, the numbness was wearing off, and my gag reflex had turned back on. It took nearly an hour to take care of my final cavity, and between everything above, the loud tools, and the equipment that's in your mouth and on your face, I started to get on edge. I understand things happen that you can't plan for, especially when you have multiple patients simultaneously, and there probably was no better way to handle the situation, but 3 hours with all the components I mentioned was just incredibly overwhelming.

Great team, from beginning to end the care here is unbeatable! Dr. Larson is what is needed in the…read morehealth community, thorough with effective care and treatment! Such a great doctor!

I am needing to search for a new dentist because my insurance is no longer accepted at my current…read moredental office. Clovis Crossing came up as a possible choice. I will NEVER go to this dental office. My resolve stems from a very bd experience I had in May of 2025. I did not post a Yelp review at the time but I will post one now in hopes that it will help others to avoid being mistreated. In May of 2025 I needed to have an emergency root canal done and my general dentist referred me to this office which was covered by my insurance. I was examined by the general dentist on hand and told that I would definitely need the root canal and I could come back the following day for the procedure with the oral surgeon. While I was still in the exam room and still in horrific pain, the financial representative came in and offered me 2 options for crowns following the root canal. 1) A basic metal crown which would bae a $300 co-pay, and 2) A top of the line Cerec fired crown which would be $2,600 out of pocket because it is not covered by my insurance. I have previously had all the metal removed from my mouth and did not want the basic metal crown. I agreed to the Cerec fired crown while under duress. It was very unprofessional and unethical to tell me that I only had 2 choices and then present me with the paperwork to sign or one or the other in that moment when I was in extreme pain and very vulnerable. I did not have time to think it all the way through before signing the paperwork. I feel like I was taken advantage of. The financial assistant should have told me that there were other options for crowns available to me besides the basic crown and the top of the line crown. I realized the next day when I was home and had less anxiety that I had possibly been lied to about the fact that there were only two options, so I called the office and without identifying myself, I asked the woman who answered the phone (who happened to be the same woman I had dealt with the day before) if there were several options for crowns following a root canal. She assured me that there are several options available and that it would be up to my dentist and myself to decide which option would be the best for me. I was not given that opportunity when I was sitting in the exam chair. I was furious! That information should have been explained to me when I was sitting in the chair in the exam room the day before and prior to my signing any financial agreement. This is truly a case of unprofessional and unethical practices. I have told many people about the bad experience I had and I have now read many Yelp reviews from others who have had similar experiences. I will continue to tell anyone who will listen that Clovis Crossing Dental is NOT a reputable business. That experience left a very bitter taste in my mouth. (Pun intended)
