My husband and I ordered takeout breakfast online for the first time here and really enjoyed it. The order was packaged very neatly in containers. We both had byo omelettes with fruit. We were impressed by the amazing portion sizes of the entree and fruit platter. Our order was correct, on time, and super flavorful. Overall we thought the value and quality were great!

Just a light lunch after doing some shopping in town. As always it's very clean and bright inside, the decor is very relaxing. My server was so pleasant and friendly. All I had was a bowl of soup... chicken and rice. It was delicious and tasted homemade. It had just the right amount of salt and seasoning, there were a nice amount of carrots and rice and chicken.

A great place. Very clean, not beat up. A great variety of food and all tastes great. Soups are delicious. Prices are great too comparing to everything else around here. Don't believe 3 star reviews. It's much better than that!

We were at a spa retreat in Skaneatles and decided to have breakfast here before heading home. From the outside it did not look as large as it really is. It's an open floor plan with ample booth or table seating. We loved how bright and clean this diner is. Our server, Alexa, was very busy yet was attentive and friendly to us. I had the Honey Waffle with cinnamon sprinkled whipped butter cream and a cup of really good coffee. My bestie had the "Sweets Meets the Meat" consisting of two huge blueberry pancakes, scrambled eggs with cheese and sausage. She really enjoyed it! This is definitely the spot if you enjoy a good diner breakfast!!

Bright, clean and modern breakfast/lunch place in the village. Nothing fancy, but serves both breakfast and lunch when they are open (thin they close at 2 pm). We stopped on the opening day of Dicken's Christmas and were able to get seated immediately. Service is good. I ordered a grilled chicken salad, which was fairly large. I tried my husband's corn beef hash, which was very good. I noticed they rushed an order out for a man who had a small restless child with him, and was happy to see they got the order out so quickly. We were accosted by Scrooge who claimed we were delinquent in our rent and gave us an eviction notice. I'd say we picked a good time for lunch!

Greek egg white omelettes for both of us, and a blueberry pancake to share.

Clover's was a great choice after yoga! My daughter and I each had a Greek egg white omelette and could have easily shared it. We also had a blueberry pancake that we shared and the blueberries were delicious! Ryan was our service and service was STELLAR! On time and kind. I guess the only thing I could be super picky about is the ambiance was clean and crisp yet the food and feel would be more welcoming if it was a bit more warm and cozy. Large portions and great prices.

    Burnt on all edges

Today I wanted to enjoy a nice meal with my family, but instead we waited an hour to be served and waited another 30 minutes for our food to come out to us. The eggs were undercooked, the quiche was burnt, and the cinnamon French toast had no cinnamon in it. The ambience of the restaurant was nice but servers would pass us left and right and would not stop to ask for our drinks or orders. We saw our server about 2 times the whole experience. Overall would not come back. We also had to help ourselves to our own boxes. I understand being busy I work in a restaurant myself, but this. THIS is unacceptable and unbelievable.

While Dickens Christmas was winding down, we went here for a late lunch. We didn't realize they were shortly closing, but they sat us anyways and were kind the hole time. We ordered a bunch of diner classics, and the portions were pretty good for the prices. It's what you'd expect from a great diner, which sounds bad, but it was all tasty, fresh and filling! Will be back some day to try their breakfast and pies! Also, super cute vibe in there, warm with the greenery

After mourning the close of nearby Hilltop diner, I finally made my way over to Clover's to check out the second iteration. It was amazing and I've been back a second time to confirm how good it is. First off, atmosphere is clean, bright and comfortable. Service was great, coffee was always hot and topped off. The booths are comfy as well. The food is so good! I ordered the special avocado breakfast sandwich on a croissant with home fries. It's awesome they offer the home fries with onion but there is a small up charge for it. Have to say the home fries are some of the best in the area! Also, very reasonably priced food. Clean bathrooms.... All in all, such a welcome low-key diner in otherwise posh Skaneateles.

Went for breakfast on a Thursday afternoon. It was pretty crowded at around 1:00 and it closes at 2:00. We were greeted promptly and shown to a table. What a transformation from the old restaurant to this one! Everything is really clean and looks like a lot more seating in this new configuration. Our waitress greeted us and was very friendly and helpful with a few of our questions. The menu is small but that's ok what we ordered was very good and very reasonable. They do make their own pies but on this Thursday it was limited because they were just about sold out. The only drawback I have is that it's very loud in the back room where we sat and that was with it not being full, with a full restaurant I don't think you would be able talk with your eating companions.

I got a table quickly without any waiting, which was surprising with how busy the town was. The place was cozy it's not huge inside but they did have a few seating outside which was nice for a hot day like today. We all ordered sangrias, they were great(no spirits here). We all shared small plates and ordered our own pizzas. The fries and calamari were seasoned and cooked perfectly. I loved the different sauces that came with them. I would get these again. My friends enjoyed the gnocchi, it took awhile for it to come out(waitress said they were training), we were not in any rush it was our girls night. They enjoyed it. Two of us ordered Sam's Favorite and one Blueberry. My friend split a slice of her sister's blueberry pizza with me, it was different but not in a bad way. We thought it was good. The different flavors complement each other. I enjoyed the Sam's Favorite, loved the kick of heat from the fresno peppers. We were full but made a little room for dessert lol, all three order the pot de crème. I will never turn down chocolate lol, it was delicious. Overall the food was good and friendly service, I can see this as date night spot for my husband and I. I enjoy a place like this because the menu is not overwhelming.

We sat out on the porch, with views out over the water. Our server, Amy, was really attentive. Food was very good. We got the Bavarian pretzels appetizer, and the mustard sauce was delicious. Our server brought out a warm loaf of bread to go with the salads, which was a nice touch. Our entrees were exactly as described (Bluewater burger and Crab Cake sandwich), arrived just as we finished salads, and very good. The prices were totally reasonable. Appetizer, salad, two sandwiches, two soft drinks was around $65 for dinner. All in all, we were very happy with the meal.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but the experience at Blue Water Grill in Skaneateles was so…read moreremarkably disorganized and dismissive that it deserves to be documented. After waiting well over an hour, our main courses still had not arrived. What made the situation even more unbelievable was that a manager approached our table to ask whether we wanted dessert before our entrées had even made it out of the kitchen. That level of disconnect perfectly summarized the entire evening. To make matters worse, we overheard the manager referencing our table and casually saying, 'they'll be alright,' as if ignoring customers for an excessive amount of time was somehow acceptable hospitality. Nothing says 'professional restaurant management' quite like openly dismissing paying guests within earshot. What made the situation even more frustrating is that we specifically needed to eat our main courses at the restaurant because our hotel does not have a microwave and we were on a timeline. The only positive part of the experience was our waitress, Amy, who remained polite, professional, and clearly did her best in an environment that appeared poorly managed. She was the one bright spot in an otherwise embarrassing dining experience. Mistakes and delays happen in restaurants. But poor communication, indifference, and openly dismissive management are what turned this from an inconvenience into a night we genuinely regretted spending there, especially on my birthday weekend.
