We bought some patio furniture from Clover. The furniture is really good quality, the price was good and the delivery went well, but none of these prompted my review. This review is for their customer service and customer commitment, especially from Brian P. We bought covers for our furniture, and the salesperson sold us the wrong style for our "L" shaped seating unit. When we came back with the covers to return them, Brian helped us. He took back the old covers and gave us, at no additional charge, the covers we needed, even though they were more money. He said that their salesperson should have known better and that they would make this right. They were missing one section of the zip together cover unit, and Brian has been chasing the manufacturer to get this free cover piece for us, and updating us on the expected delivery. They have way bigger and better customers than us, but Brian is all over making this right for us. Lots of companies are good on the front end, when you're about to hand them money, but not many are good afterwards. Well, Clover is very dedicated to making your whole experience great. They are quick to sell you a product but when it is defective the salesperson, John won't return your phone calls and service says they will contact the manufacturer but then never do. I bought a patio set I can't use. Extremely disappointed with Clover! Don't go there unless you want poor service. read more

I bought my hot tub from clover in March of 2021 and needed to move it in December of 2021. I called the store asking for help and was basically told to deal with it myself and look for a guy on Facebook. I called Pettis and they were much more helpful and provided me a list of movers in the area. Buy your equipment from Pettis, don't waste your time with Clover. read more

I don't typically go into this store, but I did today out of convenience to purchase one chemical for my pool. As I looked at this one product that had several choices, I was greeted by an employee for assistance. When I said I could not use one of the choices because I was advised not to by my usual pool store she quickly became argumentative and after a brief interaction, she walked away siting I knew more than her (sarcastically I think). I really could have used some help, but I wasn't going to get it from her, so I just made a choice and proceeded to the counter to pay. The same woman was at the register and the rudeness continued. I could not wait to just get out of there. Needless to say, convenient or not, I will not be returning to Clover for anything. Though I had to pick a certain amount of stars to post a review, I actually give zero stars. I purchased A brand new hot tub from Clover about a year ago. Had issues from day one. Jets falling apart, unknown metal substance in pipes, lights out. Overall crap quality and service is EVEN WORSE. They have showed up twice and done NOTHING but say they will check with manufacture. They never do. They have missed several other appointment and never get back to you. Don't buy from this company they are NOT customer service oriented. read more

We bought an above ground pool from a different company and they screwed it up royally. It was collapsing two weeks later. Went to Clover the second time around for a Radiant pool and they knocked it out of the park. Very conscientious and professional. Everything was spot on--no comparison between the two. My yard (which had been destroyed by pool installer #1) is back to beautiful and the pool is amazing. Can't recommend Carl and Dave highly enough. read more

they have changed....I've been a customer for many year ...spent thousands with this company ..to go in this season and be treated very rudely by the woman that works the desk /floor ...then when i left a note with her to have the manager( Brian) call me ..he never did ..so i had to call him back ..then for him to also be very short with me .. i cant believe how he has changed now that he's been promoted to manager...i now found the equipment i needed on the internet and saved myself quite a bit ...they really have a huge price increase compared to internet ....wow wish i learned this years ago .... read more

After sales care is huge and Clover we believe is the one local leisure company that truly has a top notch service team not just one guy that nobody can get ahold of when something comes up. like most other local pool and spa companies we have dealt with over the years. read more

After writing my negative review, I was contacted by Clover the next day and within a few hours they came to the house. After about an hour, they had all the leaks repaired and also found another issue with the pump. Ray and his helper came back on Monday and everything is working perfect! DO NOT BUY YOUR POOL HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bought above ground pool: I have been a customer of clovers for years now. I purchased two hot tubs from them with wonderful experiences. Great help with any needs or questions and love the hot tubs. When I was looking to purchase a pool, I still looked around and everywhere was about the same deal and price. So I went back to Clover because of all the great care I have experienced. Worse mistake ever, complete difference of care. They always made me feel like I had no idea what I was talking about. I do admit I had only in ground pools up to this point but I never felt this clueless. They always made me feel I was bothering them and they did not want to help me. Upon the sale all these things where told to me and that everything would come with the pool package and they would help with the closing since it was the first year. NONE of this happened. I had to constantly keep buying things that you need for the pool, just to make it run and work. I am not talking about anything extra or fancy. Every time I went in, I would say I thought this was going to come in the start up kit......it got to the point that they told me they have no idea why I would be told this. Upon closing the pool I called for a month wondering where all my closing supplies where. Finally I went down and they just handed me a box that was the cover. I asked what about a class on closing it or the chemicals or any help. They said the class was full and I already missed one. I asked why didn't someone let me know the multiple times I called. They stated the sign was on their door, that is how they let people know. The only way no email or any type of outreach even though they have all your information. Just the worst experience ever and I am so sad I got my pool with them. If you do buy a pool here STAY on top of everything, it will take a lot of leg work and a million calls. Worst experience ever! We bought the spa and were told it just happened to be in stock at the store. 2 weeks later when we call to schedule the install we're told it wasn't in stock and was ordered and will be here in 2 weeks. Call back again 3 times to speak to our sales person because he's not returning our calls. Finally get hold of a manger and find out it wasn't ordered. So it's ordered again. Call back in 3 weeks again go through the issue of no one returning my calls again. Finally told it's not there and is in San Diego, call in a few day later speak to a manager again he says it's in Mexico. So finally after 8 weeks and 4 days it's gets delivered. I've had to call back again and still waiting on a return call because the only paperwork is our receipt from paying. Maybe it all online but no one has told us. Three times I asked to speak to an owner or senior manger about this but I guess they don't care or it wasn't passed on. read more

Please do not let ratings from a year ago be your basis for judging Clover Pools. My wife and I bought a house with a pool 8 years ago and have never gone anywhere else. We have never walked into the store without being greeted and my wife has never once carried anything to her car. The staff is polite, intelligent and professional. We have never paid to have our water tested and have never been sold any chemicals we didn't need. Every time we take their advice on how to balance our 20x40 inground heated pool, they are spot on. My real reason for the 5 star rating is the service department. Over the years we have replaced several things, the largest being our filter. They could have sold me the biggest, most expensive filter but they again, sold me exactly what we needed. Today my pool pump motor blew so I unhooked it from power and went straight to Clover. Told Ray in the service department that the motor was blown and I needed a whole new setup. He asked if he could have 10 minutes to look at it so my wife and 2 boys went to the show room. 5 minutes later Ray is standing there and tells me the capacitor is the only thing wrong with it...oh yeah, it would be $15.00. Are you serious? I was thinking $400.00 easy for a new setup but no, that's not Ray and again, not Clover Pools. We were amazed that within 30minutes we were at Clover, Ray fixed the motor and I had it running my pool. Customer service is top notch and Ray's entire department deserves kudos. We will be a life long customer and I recommend Clover Pools to everyone because they don't sell you something to make money, they sell you what you need and that is extremely hard to find these days. read more
