Warehouse 127 houses a beautifully curated collection of home furnishings, tableware, artwork, holiday baubles, jewelry, books, candles and cozy vibes. Every time I go in there the arrangement is slightly different, showing tables, chairs and sofas, decorative pillows and throws, framed original art works and photographic prints, and table-top decor in classic and refined vignettes. I love the overall neutral color palette, as well as the variety of textures and fabrics, and the infusion of tribal and rustic styles (rough edged furniture, objects imported from exotic locations, etc) adding visual interest and richness. I always need to sit on every chair and sofa, and the energy in the place is so comfortable, it feels like you could curl up with a book and cup of tea and just chill out without being bothered....but don't mistake, this is a place of business! Kelli, the proprietor, has an amazing eye and is a great resource for ideas on how to dress up your interiors, whether you are looking to fill a room or just add a dash of something new. Especially now, during the holiday season, the store is decked out with a huge REAL tree, ornaments and items that are sure to inspire you on how to make your home decorating even more festive. Definitely a special place, unique in Rochester, and guaranteed to impress with the quality and variety of items available. Go here and tell Kelli I sent you! read more
