Had a terribly disappointing experience there. Found the perfect coffee table on display with a note on it that said something to the affect of "not available purchased 10/25/25" Well...it's now March 2026! and it is still on display! So in my mind, if it's still on display, it should be available after 6 mos of no pickup. Went to the desk and was told the person who "bought" the table moved out of state and I was assured they were coming to get it..... As a business owner myself, why would you risk disappointing a customer like that? If the item sold, take it off the floor, or put a SOLD sticker on it with no date. Then, to add insult to injury, you tell me the buyer is out of state and you are not even sure if they are coming to get the table but you won't sell it to me. How about we call the table buyer right now because I have cash in hand today to buy it? How about you don't say to me "Wow I know it's tough when you get your heart set on something." That's NOT helping, sir. What could have been a great ending has turned into a YELP review, and not a good one. Come on Liberty Hollow, do better! read more

Just make sure when you're going here but you have a lot of time to look around. The place is bigger on the inside than you think it is. It's one of those places where a lot of different people have little shops to purchase things from. Some things are newer and handmade, but there are a lot of old antique kinds of things, too. I've never been totally taken aback by a price so everything is mostly reasonable. Though, you can get the odd person who thinks that all their stuff is brand new or worth full price. I would say this is a great place to spend an hour or two looking around when you're not in a hurry. read more

The people who work at the counter can be quite rude if you ask a question that they don't know the answer to. I love going here to buy antiques, they're truly selling antiques. Can find a lot of variety here but my only complaint is the some of the workers don't have the best communication skills. I have given a lot of business to this store. I had a woman tell me I was all set so I walked out and the older gentleman said "yoo, hoo!" To me and I was confused and he said I had to sign the receipt. But I thought I was all set cause the woman told me I was. Other than the employees the store is nice and set up well. read more

I've passed by Liberty Hollow for probably a decade, thinking it was a decor store that wasn't my scene. I'm glad I finally stopped in, because it's got something for everyone and is much bigger than it seems from the outside. You can spend a long time wandering around and checking out the many booths and display areas. Some things are true antiques, and some things are newer like DVDs and Christmas ornaments. For people that are not long winded shoppers, there is a kitchen area with a TV and snacks at reasonable prices. I recently bought some greeting cards, a Star Wars toy, and several art prints. What an adorable shop to peruse! From the outside, this place doesn't look like much, but it's packed full of fun curiosities, oddities, antiques, and amazing finds, and there are rooms in places that don't look possible from the view from the parking lot. While walking through the shop, I discovered some great collectibles for train geeks, an I Love Lucy Barbie in a sealed box, books from the early 1900s, and tons of rubber ducks! Who cares about the ducks, you ask? As I'm preparing to go on a Carnival cruise, I do. For the uninitiated, there's an unofficial duck hunt that takes place on Carnival cruise ships. People bring with them and hide rubber ducks on the ship. Passengers find them and either re-hide them or keep and collect them. Those who hide the ducks write a website on the bottom of them for the finders to visit. That's where you post that you have found the duck. But back to the shop. I was there with my mom and a couple of her friends. It was my first time visiting, so I was a slower shopper than they were, so by the time I made my way through, I found them sitting on a bench at the front of the store. Good to know for those of you with husbands or friends who aren't as fond of shopping: there's a place for them to chill while you shop. I also noticed a small snack shop at the back of the store, but it did not appear to be open during our visit. I bought ten of those little ducks for 98-cents each, an I Love Lucy coffee mug, and a Nancy Drew cookbook from the mid-1900s. During checkout, I noticed the store was selling $1.00 tickets for a basket raffle. The basket was a Buffalo Bills theme, and looked like a great grab for a Bills fan. It's my understanding they often have basket raffles going on, with baskets sponsored by different vendors in the store. If you're in Spencerport and you love to browse, this is a worthwhile stop. If you're looking for unique gifts or decor for your home, it's also worth checking out. And if you're a vendor looking for a spot to sell your goods, this looks like a really nice place to display and sell them. read more

I should have expected the worst when I decided to finally check out this cute little antique store that has always caught my attention for years. I can compare it to the Shops on West Ridge in many ways, even so that it's pretty much identical to it, just with a smaller size. However, Liberty Hollow to me has more negatives than positives going for it. For one, if you are one of these people who love browsing through antiques and artifacts of days past and enjoy viewing without buying, then this place will be heaven for you. While the store is only one floor, its housed with many vintage pieces such as books, trinkets, furniture, and electronics. Their is plenty of variety to browse through on any given day and it makes for a fun experience if you are a new visitor. However, the novelty soon wears off after a few visits. New inventory doesn't come in often and most of the items you see have been there for a long time because the prices aren't very reasonable. I'm not sure if the prices get changed at all but with the amount of dust caked onto some of the antiques, I can say that that $89.99 price tag hasn't changed in the past twenty years. That really is the problem with the Liberty Hollow. Wow this nice little store has a lot to offer, it only does to a specific crowd who is looking to either resell the items, use them for themselves, or generally have an interest in the item. The sellers here are looking to get top dollar for most of their items so if you are a bargain hunter like myself, you may find yourself turning elsewhere to get a better deal. They do have some cheaper items like DVDs but those have been picked through throughout the years so chances are you won't find anything that good to view, or even in good condition because most of the ones I checked were plagued with scratches galore. The people who run this store are friendly people and they do a considerable amount of effort to keep this place up and running despite the fact that it doesn't look like they make a lot of sales by the amount of people that enter and leave empty handed. It's really a toss up whether you decide to buy anything from here but their are better options around with better quality and prices than what you find here. In my opinion, I would probably only visit again with a friend just to browse around but I'll never venture here alone because I don't see anything of value that's worth what they are charging. If you want to take a trip down here just to check it out, it is worth it to see what they offer but unless you are really obsessed with antiques or are a dealer, there are better places to be visited. read more

If you are passing through Spencerport and you like "all things vintage" you might like this smaller antique coop. You may not find a bargain around every corner, but if you like what you see and you like the condition that your finds are in, you may as well pick them up. If you are looking for quality jewelry and high-end antiques, this is probably not the place for you. If you want to "feel the nostalgia" and don't mind dusting off your finds, it's worth a stop. Part of the shopping experience is being able to interact with the friendly staff. And besides, they have coffee and pastries to make your hunt more enjoyable. read more

Beware! I entered a drawing on Saturday 11/17 for a gift basket. On Sunday I received a call that I had "won" and could pick up my prize between 10 AM and 5 PM today. I drove across town, from Honeoye Falls, and arrived at 1:00 PM. I was informed that the gift baskets were all gone. They offered my the option to select a "free antique" displayed at the front of the store. Three very tired and undesirable chairs and a well worn snowman. I am no longer a customer! read more
