We had Cloud Nine Construction remodel our entire kitchen. We found Gilbert to be very professional and communicated well with us. His team was also professional and knowledgeable. They cleaned up each night before they left and I felt like I could trust them in our home while they were doing the job. Since we were home during the entire remodel, the team did an excellent job at covering their area so that dust would not fly everywhere. Gilbert did several walk-throughs with us during the entire project, to ensure that we were on the same page with the project outcome. We also spent several afternoons shopping with him to find the perfect countertops and back splash tiles - he was very patient throughout this process! He was also willing to drive out of town to get the materials we wanted. Luckily, we were able to find them in town. When I had a question about something, he was very responsive to my text messages and would come over immediately to ensure the job was being done correctly. At one point, he did the work himself because he wanted it to come out perfectly. Without a doubt, he delivers on his word and we feel lucky to have found such an honest contractor! Would recommend Gilbert Trejo and his crew without hesitation. They just finished a double bathroom renovation on an older house (circa 1961) that I just bought. I couldn't be happier. They are very professional, know what they are doing, and even try to keep the site as "clean" (which is pretty much impossible when you demo out anything) as possible while the work is going on. They reply quickly through yelp, however, they do not follow through with appointments. They told me they would have samples ready two weeks ago. I called and asked about them and was given a date for delivery of samples. They did not show up and did not contact. They rescheduled and did not show up or let me know they were not coming again. One day, we were planning to go out of town when we heard water leaking under the kitchen sink & eventually discovered a problem in our master bathroom when we noticed the shower wall was bubbling. After filing two insurance claims for the kitchen & the master bathroom, there was mold with resulting termites that were dealt with but we contacted numerous contractors, some staying they didn't do certain things, others making recommendations but were not really listening to me on what I wanted yet charging large amounts, dinging us for every change, some wanting thousands of dollars at the time of the contract signing, which is against the state contractors licensing board (look it up). So on the day I was going to sign with a contractor, I felt uncomfortable, so I called Cloud Nine Construction after seeing the favorable reviews in Yelp & he responded immediately. Gilbert listened to what we wanted in both areas, but he was the only contractor who first asked what the Homeowner's insurance paid & when shown, he said either amount was not enough to return the kitchen or the bathroom to their original states. So he, on his own accord, contacted the insurance company, sent them explicit estimates on both the kitchen & bathroom with justification for both plus sent numerous emails to the insurance company & myself with regards to what was going on to keep us informed & low & behold, he got us more money. Due to my spouse's health issues, I wanted a beautiful yet functional, handicapped accessible master bathroom & Gilbert listened to everything I wanted, made some very insightful recommendations & he even brought in cabinet parts to show me what I wanted & how it would actually look as I am a visual person but no contractor would do that on their own time just to make us happy. He treated us like family, listened, agreed to disagree but let either one of us prove their point & both were immensely satisfied. I now have a beautiful handicapped accessible master bathroom that doesn't even look like it's for the handicapped & that was done in the fall of 2018. We liked the fact that Gilbert is a working contractor as he knows everything about the job & what his crew was doing plus his crew is outstanding from the demolition crew, the framers, concrete, tile men, electrical, plumbing, painter, finish work people & his drywall man, who I think is in his 60's was amazing to watch as he cut & hung all the drywall alone, even the high ceilings! He was so strong yet precise in his cuttings! Fascinating to watch! Gilbert is also a perfectionist that we were able to see as he came in to do our waterfall tile work & install the Hansgrohe shower units on his own because he wanted no mistakes. We felt entirely safe to have the Cloud Nine crew in our home & Gilbert knew every person that was going to be in our home on any given day plus he called if they weren't able to come so we were much informed. He is currently demolishing our kitchen & has listened to making it handicapped accessible, opening the entries/hall way openings turning diameters wide enough for paramedics with a gurney to enter as I have had to call multiple times! Gilbert is very mindful of my spouse's health issues & we are grateful to have him & we would not have any other contractor! read more

Amazing results! We recently chose Cloud 9 Construction to convert a bonus room into a bedroom for our son. Walls were modified and a large closet was added. It looks fantastic. The work was completed timely and to our scrutiny even though we made a few changes to the original plans and specifications. Gilbert was great to work with-knowledgeable, timely, understanding and extremely patient. Gilbert's crew and subcontractors all did an excellent job. Cloud Nine Construction recently finished a construction project began by another company that I had to fire. Gilbert Trejo, owner of Cloud Nine, came recommended and when I called he answered the phone. He came out that day my home to review the project and impressed me with his knowledge of what had already been done, and what still needed to be done. This included drywall and installing insulation, texturing and painting, tile work, installing new pad and carpet, and bathroom mirrors and hardware. Gilbert communicated with me daily during the two week period until the project was completed to my complete satisfaction and delight. His crews were skilled and respectful in my home. They covered all my furniture and tile floors, moved things carefully, and cleaned up their work areas each night. Gilbert and his team did an excellent job. We had our countertops in 2 bathrooms, sinks, faucets, and plumbing upgraded by his team. We also had our old "shell" shower removed because there was a crack and we were worried there was mold. He gave us a good estimate that was accurate, even after the job was done. Gilbert was available to make recommendations on design and suggest ideas that I never thought of. He and his team were friendly and efficient. Despite our home having major plumbing problems, Cloud 9 made sure everything worked and was safe afterwards. Our bathrooms look great! We chose Could Nine to install a herringbone subway tile backsplash in our kitchen. We heard about them through Yelp, and their positive reviews proved to be true. We are extremely happy with the work they did. It was a two day project that involved lots of technical cuts to get the herringbone pattern. Gilbert was very helpful in assisting us pick out the specific type of material for the look we envisioned. Eric and Johnny did the actual installation and were extremely professional, skilled, and knowledgeable in their craft. They were very clean. Not only did they clean their work area, but also the surrounding parts of the house where any dust could have gone. Their price was reasonable given the amount of labor and skill involved. They would not leave until we were 100% satisfied with the work. It actually came out much better than the inspiration picture we showed them for the job. We would definitely recommend Cloud Nine because they are talented, professional, clean, and truly take pride in their work. We would use them again, and plan to for our bathroom remodel! read more
