I can't say enough good things about J&M Floor Covering! From the first phone call with Hoss, he was incredibly responsive and offered a free onsite visit to confirm job site and measure. I needed carpet replacement in a home I was putting on the market quickly, and he understood the urgency. He provided a very reasonable quote and scheduled the work promptly. The installation crew was clean, fast, and respectful of the property--which is so important when you're prepping a home for sale. The carpet looks fantastic and helped the house show beautifully. I also used J&M for tile cleaning at the same property, which was a last-minute request. Hoss gave me a competitive price and still managed to squeeze me in, finishing the job quickly without cutting corners. If you're looking for professional, reliable, and fast service, I highly recommend J&M Floor Covering. They made what could have been a stressful process smooth and easy! read more

We had planned on going through Lowe's for our flooring. We had picked flooring and had our quote ready to go but something just didn't feel right about the back and forth and the inability to have a conversation with the installer (we didn't even know who the installer was going to be). We contacted J&M (Hoss) and immediately had a great experience. He's knowledgeable and treats your home as though it's his own. He's mindful of the impact this experience has on the household. We never had to go long without laundry or bathrooms. They really made it as painless as possible. We went from tile/carpet to vinyl plank and we couldn't be happier! Also, pricing was just under what Lowe's offered but with better baseboards . Thanks Hoss and company! read more

First of all, we liked all those involved on the job, from quoting to laying down our wood floors. Loved Danny! I would ask Danny to not allow his assistant to drop planks of wood (as they come flying out of the box) directly onto the wood recently glued down. I found more than a few scratches. However, his assistant worked like an animal and did an excellent job grinding the layers of old adhesive and rollcote off of the concrete floor during the prep time. After three days, no doubt worn out. Pleased with the quote. The floor is gorgeous and we love it. I would recommend them. Just ask them to be careful! They know what they are doing. Thank you Juan and Joe and crew! read more

They always do I great job disinfecting and cleaning my carpeting in the home. I like their "rake" tool that they use too!

I called J&M to get a quote for carpet repair and I was promptly contacted by Joe. He was able to come out the next day and fix the part of our carpet that was damaged by our cat. It cost $150 for patching the damaged area, and it looks good as new! read more

After going first to 2 other places locally for estimates that had good reviews, I wasn't sure who to trust or go with to replace old carpet and laminant for 3/4 of our house that we bought a decade ago. Based on its great reviews, I went to J&M for a third estimate and they proved the best option for us. Based on prior sales pitches, I was torn between vinyl and laminate plank options, and Hoss and his dad, Joe, answered every question and gave me good pros/cons of each from a professional standpoint based on over a decade of jobs (and how they held up long-term or potential problems). The rest of their staff in the office was also a pleasure to deal with since I went back a couple times to get samples and re-inspect options (there were so many, and not an obvious 'best bang for your buck' choice for us initially). Once we decided and the product arrived, Hoss was accurate in his predictions on availability and job completion. The installers did a great job, and were easy to work with (and tried to minimize the disruption on our family's workflow). Even when a surprise came up when they removed old carpet and found an old baseboard staple lodged in a washer drain pipe, they gave me good advice on next steps and reliable/affordable plumbers that might be available. The flooring price was reasonable compared to other estimates, and there was no extra charge for using a credit card. Looking back, everybody I worked with (8-9 in all, including workers (including, Jeremy was there every day and an A+ worker), office staff, owners, salesman and job manager) was professional, courteous and responsive to every question via calls, text, and email. This is a great, Valley-owned business to support. read more

If you are looking for carpet or new flooring this is the place to call. Joe (the owner) and his team do wonderful work. They are timely, proffesional and very knowledgeable. Best of all, is they guarantee their work. I had my floors done a few years ago and recently had an issue on one of the stair steps. I called Joe and not once did he give any push back, or delay or have any issue with coming out, ordering a part and having his team come out to replace the step. Thank you for taking care of me after years of doing the original flooring job. I highly recommend J&M Flooring for your flooring needs. read more

I highly reccommend this company! I live out of the area will be putting my Coarsegold home up for sale in the near future. There were wrinkles in the upstairs carpet due to poor installation by another carpet company and I thought that the carpet may be beyond repair. J & M Floor Covering 's owner Joe Sr's advice and help were invaluable! He suggested re-stretching and then cleaning the carpet. His technician Justin expertly re-stretched the carpet in many places which removed all of the wrinkles. Joe Sr and Joe Jr then cleaned the carpet and it looks like new! I am a retired contractor myself and realize how rare it is to find a company with such integrity, work ethic and professionalism. I know that I could not have made a better choice than calling J & M Floor Covering. read more

Wow you don't need to look anywhere else for a very good company to purchase or install your flooring. I live in another state I called and spoke with Juan super nice and he helped me out step by step with my flooring for my Fresno home. We then made a date for the install because I was flying out to have the flooring put in. They showed up on time everyone that worked for this company was super nice and you can tell they loved the job. They also went out of their way to help move item that I could not do. We had our floors replaced by J&M a couple months ago. We went to their store and browsed a lot of different options and settled on a luxury vinyl tile option that we just loved to replace our aging carpet. We did our due diligence and got several other quotes. J&M's prices were about the middle of the road- but we had a good rapport with them when we met at the store and so we went with them. They got the job done in under a week and it looks fantastic. Like other places they charge for furniture moving- if you have books on a movable shelf those need to get taken out before they will move them-just fyi. These are hard workers and they did an excellent job. They wanted to make sure they did the job right and even came back for a few touch ups. Highly recommend. read more

The entire process from start to finish was smooth. They came with a quote. A few weeks later once the materials arrived, we set up an appointment. It was supposed to be a two day job but they finished in one! Ezekiel and Justin went above and beyond for installing our vinyl floors. They removed all the carpet, moved heavy wood furniture with care, installed everything and put everything back all in one day! They did three bedrooms. They were polite, friendly, walked us through the game plan and made sure we were satisfied. More importantly, they were respectful of social distancing and wore a mask the entire time. I appreciate people who go above and beyond with their service and enforce safety protocols during the panedemic. I would use them again in a heart beat. Their price was competitive and very fair. We could even pay via Apple Pay, credit card or debit card via quickbooks, which was very convenient. All in all, awesome service from everyone involved, especially Ezekiel and Justin! So happy with our floors! read more

The comment from Joe the owner is a joke. Your quote was a joke. To charge a customer 3 times more than what other 2 businesses quoted me. So no... I'm not dumb... your guy wanted to sell me his product and he insisted me to get luxury vinyl even though I told him from the beginning what I wanted. I did mentioned that I also wanted to change the carpet but in no way I was asking for an estimate on the carpet. DON'T BOTHER ON RESPONDING TO MY COMMENT! read more
