They exceeded my expectations beyond belief and have quickly become my favorite treat in the city. The regular cloud cookie - it's melt in your mouth, fluffy, almondy, addicting. I kept saying I would just have one small bite and ended up eating the whole thing. The s'mores one is to die for and literally tastes like the best s'mores sandwich - this one was my husbands favorite. The chocolate one was so rich and delicious. I was really excited to try this place because I loved the store design and the cookies looked aesthetically delicious. The best items by far were the cinnamon roll cookie and strawberry and cheese pop tart. The cinnamon roll cookie was thick, soft, and moist, and the icing on top was perfectly sweet. Each bite was delicious. The pop tart was also delicious as the strawberry and cheese filling was tasty and warm with flaky, crunchy bread surrounding it. The other regular cookies were very average. As you can see in the picture, I got an assortment of flavors but found them to be fairly forgettable. They were very large in size and had a nice soft texture but just didn't carry much flavor. They were all fairly bland and it was hard to tell some of the flavors apart. My family loved the cloud cookie though as they really enjoy almond flavors. Overall, I'd suggest getting the more unique tasting items I mentioned earlier. read more

Upon entering this charming cookie shop, Cloud Cookie, you're immediately hit with the most beautiful wall of neon clouds and a very warm and welcoming "hello" from the staff! On the wall to the right was the menu as well as the drink options they will be selling upon their official grand opening on Dec 10. On the counter where you pay, is a large plexiglass box that showcases all of their cookies that they sell and ALL of them looked incredible! I ordered 6 of them and was even asked if I'd like them warmed up. My overall score is 1000/1000! And for the record, their signature Cloud Cookie was favorite! Its hard to make a bad cookie and they actually showed up slightly warm, like right out of the oven, a nice touch. My issue is that, they are just generic, ie you could get them out of any grocery store or from premade cookie dough, they just had the corporate cookie taste and feel that you don't get from truly made from scratch cookies. Honestly you are getting a great deal with the cost of them for how much cookie you are actually getting. I also love the simple yet inventive flavor options they have. None of them are too crazy that make me question them, but they also don't just have stereotypical flavors you can find everywhere. We ended up getting the Windy City Macadamia, the Carmel volcano, the cloudynoir, and the cloud cookies n'cream. I think my personal favorite was the Windy City Macadamia while my partner loved the Cloudynoir. It was hard to choose a favorite though because they were all so good. They are quite large and visually appealing but flavor and quality are truly mediocre at best. The place itself is adorable and an absolute instagram-able hotspot but I think that's the best thing they have going for them. For me personally, if I'm going somewhere for food - the food should be the best thing about it and the aesthetic factor should be a bonus. Here it feels like they're mostly banking on the aesthetics. At $3-$4 dollars per cookie I just expected something so much more than I got quality wise. For $4.99 you can go to Jewel and get an entire container of cookies that are better in flavor and quality.
