Almost feels like many of the reviews on here are fake. We hired them to add several new pages and landing pages to our existing website. We explicitly defined our scope of work and expected timeline to launch our website from the beginning. Many of the items we sent to David were lost in emails even after multiple rounds of Zoom calls and him recording. We worked with David and his developer, which happens to be some person outside of the US, for about 3 weeks. Eventually nothing was completed for us to launch on our existing website. After rounds of back and forth with content that we supplied and many emails asking for various items all the time, David started asking for more money and complained that wanting to launch our new pages after 3 or 4 weeks was too much for him to handle and that he was not able to work under this kind of pressure. We had no issue paying him more money as it was way cheaper to begin with (just like his service) however, it seemed like he knew he was not capable of delivering something professional after all and decided to quit. We agreed to receive our money back and part ways. Our wasted time and frustration will never get sompensated and it was clear that our time and trust to this business did not mean anything to this team. Basically zero customer service. More importantly, we really didn't appreciate the fact that they use cheap labor from some other country with language barriers and only act as a middle person. We specifically didn't want this type of service as we had interviewed several other developers on Upwork and other freelance websites, but eventually ended up getting the same level of service at a more expensive price. Basically nothing is done in house, David is just the face. Rarely inclined to leave negative reviews but unfortunately this is a fair observation based on the service that was provided to us. Through the use of sub ledger match and zero balance functionality, approximately 3,000 accounts are reconciled automatically. For example, revaluation accounts took 3-4 days to prepare and approve by 1 person prior to the BlackLine Implementation. Using the sub ledger match function, 800 revaluation reconciliations can be completed in 1/2 day by 1 person. - Task Module. The Task Module was implemented for SOX deliverables not tied to an Account Reconciliation, SOX review of journal entries, and activity checklists. This saved us many hours each quarter in obtaining signatures and photocopying Journal Entries and deliverables for the internal and external auditors. - Consolidation Module. The manual process to complete the ERP System to Consolidation System reconciliations of 175 company codes previously required 8 employees, 5 reams of paper, and 3 days. The BlackLine process requires 1 employee, no paper, and less than one day. In a typical month, 99% of accounts will automatically reconcile. - Matching Module. After implementation of the Matching Module, the Intercompany reconciliations were able to be completed at a transactional level rather than a balance level. This saved us valuable time finding the transactions that caused the out of balances rather than just identifying with accounts were out of balance. In addition, the Intercompany Reconciliations can be completed continuously throughout the month as opposed to month end only.
