He was very calm and clearly explained the work that I needed to do. After I took about two weeks to complete this phase of the project, he happily came back and helped me with all the other details of transferring all of the data from my old crashed desktop. He finished things off by destroying my old hard drive and I was able to get rid of all the old computer parts that have been stored in a corner for a few years gathering dust. It's a relief to have everything I need and to start fresh. Thank you!

Ray is amazing. Super friendly and super helpful. I needed a repair of the battery compartment in…read morea vintage toy. Ray said it is not what he usually does, but if I was willing to leave it he would try to figure it out. A little over a week later he calls to tell me it is fixed! It required a new part and some soldering. It is now working! Again, this is not what he usually does, but he has the knowledge and skills and was willing to figure it out. He understood that the toy could not be replaced and was willing to step outside of what he normally does to fix it. This is exactly the kind of person and business we should all be supporting. I 100% recommend Businesses Machines Center. I will be back for any printer repairs I need or anything else he does.

I reached out for an estimate on a MacBook battery replacement and received a detailed, helpful response. In the end, I had to go with a shop closer to home because I couldn't wait. When I let the businesses know, Business Machines Center was the only one that replied with kind, thoughtful words. Yelp sends inquiries to multiple places automatically, so I had notified several shops, but they were the only ones who followed up so graciously. It only takes a minute to send a message like that, but it leaves a lasting impression. I'll definitely keep them in mind as my first choice the next time I need help with my devices.

After installing an…read moreincompatible battery and/or botching the service they told me it was good to go when I picked it up on a Friday night. As it turned out, Andrew knew he hadn't been able to get the battery to properly configure. He told me he thought it "might be ok anyways," when I talked to him Monday after he let me figure out myself it crashed every 3 to 15 minutes from over heating while they were closed for the weekend. They agreed to order a new battery, but thereafter they could not get any battery, not even my original battery to work again. I had to purchase a new phone. FYI, after there camera lens replacement it no longer focused ("dust they couldn't do anything about," he said, when I let them know it took worse pictures then while it was cracked!). I try to support small businesses, but I'd recommend avoiding this one.
