BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. Purchased the new Print Artist 27 but they charged double what they advertised. Extremely tricky setup designed to sell unwanted stuff. Unresponsive to my request to fix it. Email address for sales support is non-existant. read more

Having a technical difficulty, I have been trying to get a response from their support for over a year! Today I finally gave up and decided to order a NEW version of Virtual Architect for $99 as my time is worth more than that! Placed the order and the download link DOES NOT WORK!!! Not waiting another year for their response, so I will call CC company and cancel payment. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! THEY ARE A SCAM!! read more

I ordered the Print Artist Gold a month ago and have not heard a thing from them and have not received the boxed program. I believe they are a scam business. Rory read more

I will contradict some reviews in saying that the software itself is pretty great. It's got it's quirks, but its very powerful for the price. Support from Nova Development is a joke though. I asked how to do a specific thing and they told me it wasn't possible. I then found the built-in option to do exactly what I was asking about. What I found after purchase is that it is a rebranded version of the Cadsoft Envisioneer Personal Architect. You can get more information about how to use the product from them. It's slightly more expensive to buy directly from them, but I will do that next time there is a new version. read more

Complete scam! The email address associated with support comes back as nonexistent; we brought the Virtual Architect Software and needed to re-download, only to learn that they would not allow us to and told us we had to repurchase it. I wish I had looked at Yelp before the purchase; $ 99 went down the drain without support and no way to remedy the issue. Terrible way to do business! read more

I used Print Artist Platinum 25 for a couple years on Windows 11. It has suddenly stopped working and I followed "suggestions" on Google (uninstall and reinstall) several times to no avail. The company (NOVA Development) offers NO help whatsoever. I can't even find another program that might be able to open and use any of the projects. Now I need to find another software publishing program and redo all my projects. read more

Should be 0 stars. I paid $79 for the Virtual Architect Home Designer software. I installed it, was about to create my first project. Later when going back to update, the software would not open. So I reinstalled the software, but it would not activate, stating I had reached maximum activations. I contacted customer support twice now with no response. The software is totally worthless now. Evidently they don't care about customers either. read more

This company is a joke. Nothing works. You can't get their promised rebate because their own site will not accept the code from the package. No way to contact them because they offer no email information. They want you to pay just to talk to them on the phone. Who pays for customer service??? I tried the mail in option and it was returned as undeliverable. ONE STAR IS TOO KIND. They need minus stars. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! read more

Do not purchase anything from this company, or you will be bombarded with spam email. You cannot unsubscribe, as many of us have tried repeatedly and that just increases the frequency. read more

I concur with the other reviews. This company will not respond to requests to stop spamming you. I perform the unsubscribe function and my request was ignored. read more

The Virtual Architect software they are selling is actually a re-branded old version of Envisoneer by CadSoft. Better to buy the latest and supported version from the original vendor. read more

I ordered some software, couldn't get it installed. I thought it was me but I see others had the same problem. It's the company from what I see. Now I'm getting a small additional charge on my credit card after I paid for the software. The number listed is closed and they suggest you send an email. From the other reviews it sounds like it would not be worth trying to figure out the software or the charge unless it happens again. Wish I had never ordered from them and had read these reviews before I did. Bad company. More like a scam. read more

I received "invoices and estimates" and submitted a registration for this product. When I tried to install it, I got a read error because the disc was scratched. How do I get a replacement ASAP. read more

The home design software was not worth the great effort needed to use it, so I returned the package and was refunded my payment. Good for them! But since then, despite requests to stop, they send me endless emails -- three today! Of course, gmail transfers them right to the spam folder, so the messages don't occupy my inbox, but the company's choice to ignore my requests shows that they really don't give a hoot about customers. Best to stay away from Nova, unless you need more junk email. Note: I ended up using MSPublisher to create my own interior design plan, and it worked just fine after scanning in the floor plan. read more

What a bunch of lowlifes! Kept getting emails from these bozos every day almost, have no idea how or why, don't CARE! I tried their "unsubscribe" button TWICE, kept getting their crap, so I tried emailing to an email addy that was supposed to reach their "web" people....got a MAIL DAEMON failure, of course! I will be calling them via phone today, if THAT doesn't stop them, I will start filing complaints! What kind of IDIOTS thinks they can keep bugging you and you would EVER buy from someone like that..........IDIOTS! I'll spend my money where people have brains! read more

I have used a piece of software Nova Development sells for a decade or so. After I bought the updated version, I started receiving TWO emails a day from Nova Development. Each email I UNSUBSCRIBED, then right on schedule I received another. I have UNSUBSCRIBED fifty times. I have written to customer service. No change. I am sorry that I ever dealt with these people and I will certainly never purchase anything from them again. Nova Development Corp...If you read these reviews, please UNSUBSCRIBE me. read more

This Company charged we twice for something I NEVER GOT! I contacted them right away and they still took the double amount out. I never received it. read more

I bought the Virtual Architect Home & Landscape platinum Suite. In part because it said there was a 90 Day Money Back Guarantee. (instructions in the User Manual) I thought I would give it a try. I am an architect and the software is neither simple nor intuitive. Additionally, I was not able to print drawings to scale, which makes the program worthless. unfortunately, there was no user manual in the glitzy box the software came in, nor could I find one on line. After reading the other reviews, I am not going to waste my time further, since I doubt they will return my money. Of course that is what they want me to do. Don't waste your time or money with this company. read more

For me, Home Design was not as it appeared in videos on line, I was a sucker and I paid the price. They continue to harass me with their email crap several times a day despite my efforts at unsubscribing to most for over 2 months. Get real and deal with your satisfied customers and leave me alone. No matter how many bogus notices you send me, I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM YOU AGAIN! read more

Purchased Photo Impact 13 - a product of Nova Development from local Staples and registered it. Last product I'll ever buy from Nova Development. They spam the hell out of you. Between 4/29/19 and 5/8/19 I received 25 emails from them even though I have unsubscribed multiple times since the first 2 emails and I've called the Customer Support line. I receive 2 or 3 emails every single day and I've received as many as 4 in a single day. What marketing person with at least 2 working neurons would think that this is a good way to approach customers? It's having the exact opposite impact that they want. And a quick search indicates that they've been doing this for years. read more

If I could give this company a NEGATIVE rating, I would! They send annoying spam once they have your email address. It doesn't matter how many times you "unsubscribe" because it keeps coming. I sincerely hope someone at the Better Business Bureau shuts them down. It might be time to start a class action lawsuit against this company read more

The previous star rating still applies. I finally got someone from Nova to send me a exe file that worked, but it was loaded with spyware. To top it off, I can't turn off their spam emails, which litter my inbox every day. read more

This company seem to keep "updating" their software n then u r prompt to upgrade by paying. Old version no longer works

0-STAR RATING. I bought their software from Office Depot and it never worked. When I finally spoke to someone, they told me I had to PAY $9.99 for them to repair it. I bought it brand new! I suspect, they issue some software with built-in problems for you to call them for help. This is a shake-down and they should be PUT-OUT-OF-BUSINESS. read more

This company has been spamming me for the last couple of weeks. They get your email address when you buy software and then they sell it to others and use it themselves to spam you at least twice a day. The company is owned by the French corporation Avanquest-Group. here is their website link for further complaints: http://www.avanquest-group.com/investors/contact-us.php Here is the telephone number to complain in person: (818) 591-9600. Same problem, constant emails even though I have unsubscribed a dozen times. Terrible company that won't respect their customers. One star is too much! read more

I have to agree with other reviews so far. This is the worst piece of software I have ever purchased. And now I'll probably start getting their e-mails because I tried to contact them!! AUGH!!! Customer service at this company is none existent, you can't reach anyone, the video tutorial link is broken, I don't know how to get started with this program even though you advertise ease of use I really don't know how you got all these great reviews. If I don't hear from someone soon, I will make sure I make it my job to tell the world what kind of crappy customer service and products you have you really are a bad company and don't deserve to survive I got hung up on after placing me on hold for over 20 minutes I now know that I like to return this product and not deal with this company again after a second attempt, I finally got in touch with a representative from customer service which made me feel that I was talking to my grade school teacher she almost reprimanded me for not knowing how to use the program and suggested to reach to technical support which has no link unless you pay with all these reviews I can live without their software read more

Parallels software works well and I have no problem with it. However, the rebate policy of Nova Development Corp is something else again! I sent the letter below to the President of Nova Development on November 10, 2010 but have yet to receive a reply. Dear Mr. Bloxberg, I was so disappointed with the shoddy treatment I received from one of your employees Monday that I felt you should know about it. His arbitrary and dismissive attitude was so contrary to your published corporate policy of morality and truthfulness that I could not believe it. At issue is your offer of a $20 rebate for purchasing a copy of Parallels Desktop 5 for Mac. I purchased two copies online through Amazon.com and have been expecting my two rebate checks for $20 each. When I went online to check the progress of the rebates I found that my second $20 rebate was denied. Since the initial rebate Web page said that Rebate 1089882 was labeled Duplicate Approved, I assumed all was well. However, clicking on that link produced the disturbing message: "Your rebate has been marked as duplicate and will not be paid. Rebates are limited to one per household per offer." This led me to go online to a chat session with Rogelio in Customer Service. He was simply dismissive of my attempt to obtain an explanation of why my second $20 rebate would not be paid. I heartily agree with him that, if you have a policy of one rebate per household, "That should be indicated. . ." However, reading the required submitted forms reveals there is no such policy stated anywhere on either them or the Web site. If one rebate per household "has been one of our rules," but it is not stated anywhere in either the online information nor on all the forms you require be submitted to qualify for the rebates, you can hardly expect customers to be aware of it. Since I assume you were unaware of the discrepancy between your published policy and the arbitrary implementation of it by your employees, I would appreciate your assistance in facilitating the processing of my second $20 rebate. read more

Purchased HGTV garden design software. It didn't download but, did mess with my computer while trying. Did not receive a confirmation email so that I would have a link to try again. Looked up Nova Development and realized they charge from $9.99 upwards for customer service. What!!! pay for customer service on their product that doesn't work. There is an option that is free if it answers the question you have I suppose it is ok, but not getting my information was not an option for resolution on the free site. Yikes. Cancelling purchase. Run...run far away from Nova Development read more

I agree with all previous comments about NOVA, there is no customer support whatsoever!!! After purchasing a download and being provided with an unlock code to enable me to burn my slide shows to DVD, after burning only TWO DVD's, I now get a message saying unlock code is invalid, this payment was meant to last 2 YEARS, not 1 week, all my emails for support gave be totally ignored, I have been cheated and ripped off!! My advice - NEVER BUY NOVA.... read more

I have a WinXP Pro 32 Bit system and have successfully used Nova and Avanquest programmes since 2006 or before. I just purchased "InPixio Photo Clip 6" paying $39.99 - however after downloading it and installing it, the programme refuses to work stating that it is not a valid Win32 application. I understand that Nova's Website states that the programme does work with 32 Bit Windows. Adobe Photoshop CS3 works OK on my machine likewise 60 other programmes including several from Nova and Avanquest without any problems. I have written to Nova, PayPal, Avanquest, etc and asked for a refund. Victor Mishiku (London UK) 1st November 2014. read more

Echoing the previous reviews, this company engages in rampant rebate fraud, and customer service is a complete joke and will repeatedly lie to your face. Yes, the below people are right. NEVER PURCHASE FROM NOVA DEVELOPMENT! They are based in Calabassas Ca. but you can never get ahold of anyone to solve your problems. Nothing but delays, and if you think the 90 day guarantee will be good, guess again, it takes over 90 days to process your return request. You are left with software that won't work and no refund. In june 2014 I purchased and downloaded a genealogy program from this company. When the program was not what I was looking for I went through the appropriate channels as requested by the company to ask for a refund. Six months later, 4phone conversations, an email and an online chat have produced nothing. Excuses have been given, including that the refund was being mailed out and later, that since I was a Canadian customer it was difficult to refund the amount, around $80. I was disconnected twice in phone conversations and left "hanging" in a chat conversation while my account was checked. They had no problem taking my Canadian money ... Do not expect a refund.
