Edited to respond to the owner response:…read more The issue is - you cannot FIX hair to make it longer. Coming back within 2 weeks doesn't help anything when the entire issue is that the hair was cut TOO short. If it was an issue of it being uneven or too long, of course we would come in and get it fixed. We have been to Sport Clips at various locations MANY times over the years for both of my kids and my husband, and have NEVER had a bad haircut from them until now. We had never had a single complaint until now. My "kids" are 23 and 18 and have been getting haircuts every 2 months since they were young and this is the very first time I have ever asked for a refund from any salon! So, to say I'm offended is an understatement. We are not hard to please clients at all. I am very offended to be accused of trying to get a free haircut. This whole ordeal would absolutely not be worth a free cheap haircut for me! I have spent time crying about the ruined pictures and how bad my son's hair looks. My son is now wearing a hat until it grow out because he's embarrassed about it! At the end of the conversation yesterday the owner say he would extended the "fix" time to a month. Hard to say whether it will need to be cut by then considering how short it is. The business owner should not be accusing people of something they didn't do, especially on a public platform. Admitting the mistake and giving a refund would have made a lot of sense from a business standpoint. No bad review posted, we would return and go to a different stylist, and would not be telling everyone we know to stay away from this business. Worst haircut experience ever! My son brought it pics of what he wanted - a little shorter on back and sides and long on top (for the young guy messy look). Basically the top needed trimmed up just a pic. The stylist said ok but proceeded to cut the back and sides shorter than the pictures and the top way way too short. He was left with nothing to be long and messy. He had important senior pictures coming up that we paid a deposit for. Now it will be at least a month and half before his hair grows out to the length he wanted it cut. The lady was so rude when my son got home and I called to talk about it. She hung up on me. I called back and she hung up again! She kept saying she did a beautiful haircut. Also she put a bunch of product in it that made it look wet and dirty. He just wanted a quick blow dry (which at that length would have taken MAYBE 30 seconds). The owner (or manager) called me because I asked for them to give me a call. He said nothing can be other other that we can come in and get it "fixed". How to you fix to make it longer?? He said no refund and nothing else can be done. I asked how you can butcher someone's hair and take off way too much, charge $32, and just say "nope. Nothing we can do". I feel like they stole my money. And now his pictures are ruined (I can't lose my deposit, so his hair is just going to be super short in the pics). Senior pics are once in a lifetime. And I we have to look at that horrible haircut in them! So upset. Don't come here.

This is the closest Sports Clips to my house so I frequent it often but more times than not the…read morestylists do a lackluster job (except one particular woman who is always friendly and detail oriented). My biggest gripe, however, is they seem to always try and scam me. They always up-sale the MVP - which is fine (I get certain businesses gotta get their metrics and targets). But when I say no they try and charge me for it anyway. I thought it was just a mistake here and there but this happens almost every time I go in. I ask for the Triple Play and they charge me for the MVP and I have to challenge them on it. Once I asked for the Triple Play, CORRECTED them at the washing station that I wanted the Triple and not the MVP and they put the extra hot towel on me charged me for it anyway, saying at the register that I got the MVP service so I have to pay. Just gives me sketchy vibes and I hate that I have to pay double attention to the price to make sure I'm paying for the service I requested. Today I asked for a beard trim and my stylist ran a buzzer over my beard in less than a minute and charged me $12 for it...I could have done that at home and saved myself the $12 (a third of the price for the haircut/wash). I started going to the Mill Creek location and it's 1000% better in practically every way.

You also are asking me to wait until Tuesday for the review when my concerns were brought on Friday. Worst. Haircut. Ever. If you would like to waste 2 hours on a haircut that should have been completed in 45 minutes, all while listening to far too personal baby daddy stories shared by your nice, but unskilled, stylist, then this is the salon for you! What was that? Should I have said something? Well, I did. That's when the less than 100% fabulous customer service kicked in. I sent photos and messages documenting the haircut. I asked for a refund. After all, that was $90 for the haircut that looks like the craft scissor haircut my friend's daughter gave herself when she was 5. They want to "fix" it. There's barely any hair left to "fix" and also, no. You have lost my trust. Just refund the money. Here's my story: I chose one of my reference images (the one with green highlights) directly from their website based on cut and type of color, highlights with a fashion color. What could possibly go wrong? There is a person there who literally can cut the cut I want the picture proved it, right? The scheduler said she knew exactly who to book me with, but let's do a color consultation first for $60. I countered with, let's schedule the cut and the stylist, and I can discuss color then. At my appointment, I showed the stylist a carefully curated set of images, cut images, and the cut I wanted in pics of me when I had that cut. This is important because, I should back up and say I was asking for a pixie cut. I explained that I wanted my already short hair to be styled into a long banged, messy pixie with wispy tendrils by my ears. This would require trimming bangs, texturizing the longer "bob" sides and back. An hour in, I knew far too much about her personal life, and half my hair was clippered and way too short. Then she said, " Hey, maybe we should leave the other side as it is (when I came in)". Um, what? I asked to see the back. It had been clippered and the long hair on top laid on it like a rug. Zero texture. Um... the back of my head looks like a triangle? Can you please fix it? She did, kinda. Now, it's at mile marker two hours, and I am late. She was still not done. I told her I had to go and that I would have to settle for what I have. I left, put my hat on, and cried. But that was after I was also charged a service fee to tip. Next comes the customer service: After work, I took my hat off to discover that you could see my scalp in places. I have virtually no bangs, and it is waaaaay worse than I thought. I immediately emailed with pics. Their response, thanks for the feedback. I called and asked someone from their leadership to call me back. Nope, no call. Fast forward to the next day and several emails later, and the owner said you can either come in (next week) or "this matter is closed". Charming. I've had pixie cuts for 20 years. This was not a texture things or even a miscommunication. It was a failure of the scheduler, the stylist, and ultimately the owner. That stylist needs to be trained better and should have never been given me as a client. And the owner, well, just rude. When did customer service become so rare? Guess they must be doing well if they don't need new customers. There's more, but I am tired of typing. I don't usually leave reviews. Update: to be clear I did not decline the review. I declined a review without the possibility of a refund. You also are asking me to wait until Tuesday for the review when my concerns were brought on Friday.
