We had recently moved to Piedmont so I went in to order her second dose on 1.2.2021. She was due to get it on 1.7.2021. We were told by the pharmacist that they would have the injection WELL before the 7th. On the 7th my daughter went to get the injection and was told that she would have to come back because the pharmacist was not available. She went back a second time that day and this time was told that they did not have it. I called that day, the 7th, and was put on hold for well over 10 minutes with no answer. Apparently the tech in the pharmacy told her that they would call when it came in. Fast forward to today 1.13.2021, I call the pharmacy to check and see if the immunization was in yet, was told "no". Let my daughter know, and she informed me that Walgreens had called her on 1.11.2021 to let her know that the immunization was in and she could come in and get it. I then called to confirm this information, and was told "oh our mistake, we do have it". My daughter drove an hour from her college to get the injection, and was told "we don't have it, we have the wrong one". Never again will I shop at or get prescriptions from this pharmacy, I have no faith that they would even get the prescription correct.

I looked around but saw no one coming to help. I waited since the pharmacist was about 10 feet away and seemed busy at some kind of machine, register or such. Then I saw a woman, maybe 5'10" maybe 28 years look at me. After a brief wait she said "Can I help you?" The irritation was obvious. Other than standing and maybe chatting to the pharmacist she was not doing anything. I showed her the Ingles Pharmacy bag I was holding and replied "Yes, I could use some help with this." The woman moved to opposite me and looked at the bag and the two boxes of mixed Sudafed PE. I explained that I was prescribed a stronger dose Sudafed but the Sudafed I found on the shelf was all I got. The lady responded "Yeah, that's what we sell as well. That's what you need." I then read from the prescription label 120 mg Tab #60, Days supply 30. That woman pointed at the Sudafed PE and said something to the affect "yeah, that's what you need." I held the prescription out to her and said "120 mg." Eventually she took the bag with the attached prescription and went to a shelf to look around. She asked the pharmacist something, who responded by pointing at a shelf higher than the lady was looking. Then the lady came back and said "we have a box of 20 tables of the 120mg." I said "so that's good for 10 of the 30 days prescribed." The lady said "well we could sell you a box but it would be illegal to sell you very much. It's controlled. Ya wanna buy one box?" Since one box did not solve my problem I said "no", I thanked her for her time and was left with the impression that the lady didn't know what she was talking about. The pharmacist was standing less than 10 foot from us and offered no insight, no clarification, no confirmation, no courtesy, and no concern. Considering a couple months back we had a similar cold shoulder from the pharmacist, we will drive 40 minutes to a Publix pharmacy where customer care actually means they give a dang.

Hi, I use Walgreens…read moreexclusively. I used this one only for a quick Rx pickup from my Dentist, which is in Lavonia. I stopped in for a prescription, that was called in. I approached the cashier, who answered we don't have it, they have not called it in. It was a reason to go to the car to call the dentist. They had left it on their answering machine and did not check it over the last 1/2 hour. Oh well. i walk back in again from the car, it is a chore, I just came from a long recoup from the hospital, very weak. She now has it. I go back in, Pharmacist asked me for my name again. I told him, he said loudly speak louder I can't hear you! So I sit quietly waiting for it to be made, Pharrmacist Anthony Shropshire, he looked down and said it is being made. Mr. Shropshire makes it, says very loudly it is ready! I nod, he comes back with ,"Lets get moving, it is ready, time to go, time to get it and move on now!" Wow! Where does that come from and why??!! I told him , I am on energy reserves and just out the hospital. I buy it and wish them each a good day. How does this even get justified. It doesn't I will stay at the other stores that are courteous and professional. Too bad, customers that are new are often not valued.
