One optometrist we got a 2nd opinion from told us he would not go back if he were us. Some research online says the the therapy can be helpful - other says it is fraud. But what really made it abundantly clear we made the right decision in discontinuing therapy for our daughter after several months was when I told the therapist we were discontinuing and then they stopped returning my calls when I tried to get a copy of a receipt. I felt like they made a choice on resentment instead of professionalism. While they told us our daughter had a vision problem - our daughter said she didn't (after she received glasses). They said her "condition" would return if we stopped therapy now. Many months later her "condition" has not "returned". So my skepticism remains and the evidence is still inconclusive after a cost of at least $1,000 out of pocket (most insurance won't cover it).

I'd taken my then 12 year old son to Dr Forrester last year for his glasses and after a good experience then, figured I'd go ahead and give him a shot with my eyes. The appointment scheduling was painless, I only waited a few minutes before I was taken back and the staff and doctor were all fantastic. I likely could have saved a few bucks on the exam elsewhere, but I'm glad I went here. I'd highly recommend him to anyone needing an eye exam.

It is completely unprofessional especially for a dr office to not return calls. All their records are on paper so if you want a copy of prescription you have to come in to get the paper copy bc they don't have a fax machine. When you come to get it, they don't have a copy of it in your file so you then wait for the dr to be done with his appt so he can write out your prescription. That is assuming they can find your file(they searched for 2 weeks trying find my sons file so we could new contacts. I have been trying to get a copy of my prescription for several days with no success.

I have always worn glasses since a young kid...I had 20-15 after the surgery in one eye and 20-20 in the other...They did jep me for about $100 saying I had to pay, but VA said I should have never paid it as it is a federal contract with the VA. Parking lot is easy to get in and out of, no crazy intersections like Stanton optical. No wild scheduling and then canceling at the last minute like Medicus. Dr and staff was super friendly and one of the technicians even showed me my eye pictures and took the time to explain what they're looking for in them.
