There were a few places offering repairs, but even after waiting all day, we couldn't get our turn. I've owned many fountain pens, but I didn't have a single Pelikan. I've always been curious about them and wanted to buy one--however, one of the two Pelikans I had gifted my wife had a nib issue, so I hesitated. Because of that, I brought that Pelikan along with another broken Sailor fountain pen to the show. While I was still debating whether I should buy my first Pelikan, I met this gentleman. And truly... he has hands of gold. In about five minutes, he repaired both my wife's Sailor and her Pelikan like it was nothing. The moment I saw the results, I immediately purchased my very first Pelikan right there on the spot. What impressed me even more was how thoroughly he inspected the nib and made sure everything was perfect. His deep knowledge, genuine love for fountain pens, incredible skill, and--most importantly--his humility and kindness made this experience unforgettable. Because of him, I was able to leave the pen show with a truly happy memory. To anyone living in South Carolina: you are extremely lucky to have someone like this there.
