I usually go to AnyLabTest Now to do my STD testing, but when I was Googling the phone number for the location nearest me, there was a sponsored link to stdcheck.com and I decided to click on it. I found out that doing the test through that website was going to save me approximately $20 so I decided to give it a shot. I purchased my test online and selected Clinical Pathology Labs as my testing center since it's located pretty close to me. I went in with a print out of my proof of purchase and they admitted me. The whole process took less than 15 minutes and then I was on my way. Easy enough. The only reason why I didn't give them a higher rating for the test process is due to the fact that, for whatever reason, it took them days and multiple phone calls for me to actually get the results of my test! I was expecting my results within 48 hours. which is about the same turnaround had I gone to AnyLabTest Now. But I didn't get my results here after four days! I tried calling the lab directly but they said that only the referring doctor (the website) could request it from them. So I had to keep pestering the website whose customer service rep told me that they hadn't received the results from the lab. Would I use this service again? Probably. But hopefully next time, they provide a quick turnaround. read more
