I was back in sinus rhythm and was expecting to go home like every other time I've had one done but she refused to sign the release paperwork. She wanted to do an echocardiogram because one heart valve was pumping just barely underwhat it should be. I said I would have one of my regular cardiologists do one on my follow up visit. This was not a critical situation. I have a regular cardiologist and an electrophysiology cardiologist. Both of my cardiologists told me it was just because I had been in AFib for a week and it would go back to normal since I had just had a stress test done a few weeks prior and my heart was fine. She was informed that a stress test had been done and of the results. She told me if I checked myself out against her wishes, they would not run the bill through my insurance and I would be responsible for the whole thing out of pocket. I have since found out they can not do that. They HAVE TO run it through your insurance and this is a tactic some Drs use to get more money out of you and line their pockets. I was blackmailed into staying another 18 hours in the hospital by Dr Brown for a test that took less than 4 minutes and I had to threaten to leave just to get them to do it the next day. Dr Brown will lie to you and take advantage of your ignorance. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying away from Drs like her who put their own interests above their patients for financial gain and I will never use St Luke's again since they employ someone like this.

Either way, Vivian is an excellent PA and I never see my doctor, only her. She has an excellent demeanor and I fell completely confident with her.

After bloodwork, that was it. They told me I was done and they will contact me with results. Low and behold 1 week later, I have to go online to view my results. NOONE called me to discuss it. Upon further review of my files, I noticed health records, and wow am i appaled. He puts down there are no issues, I am perfectly fine, and the "depression" screening was fine. This guy must be psychic to evaluate that everything is perfectly fine based off looking at me sitting still and two questions. Also when I called the office to discuss what my bloodwork results meant, their was a condesending voice of the woman who answered essentially saying "look online". Noone will view or reply to messages you send on their broken website, and if you want to set an appointment online, dont bother. You will be ignored or have to send a "request" for appointment 2 weeks out just to never here back with any appointments set. lol They even had the nerve to bill you for a full exam/ depression screening. NONE of this was even done. Go somewhere else. This place is a disgrace to HIPAA and the healthcare community.

When I advised that she just said ok and took $80 didn't verify it or anything which makes me think they were going to charge me whatever they felt! Also when I called to verify my prescription... they would answer and put me directly on a hold and then hang up! I had to call 5x to finally get someone on the phone! The second time I called they answered after the 7th call! I honestly thought this has to be a prank because never in my life have I've been to a doctors office that functioned this way! The first red flag was the clear HIPPA violation! But I had already took off work and I was there! I expected better service considering being located in the woodlands! This clinic is subpar outdated with thin walls and a gossiping staff! I don't know how this place is opened as a resident of the woodlands I'm shocked! Honestly!
