After the visit they couldn't figure how Much to "charge me" the girl taking payment said $80 then said let me double check as she waddles to the back where I here them throwing around numbers $120 nah nah I think $160 then she comes out says $160 thank God insurance answered and said $80. When I advised that she just said ok and took $80 didn't verify it or anything which makes me think they were going to charge me whatever they felt! Also when I called to verify my prescription... they would answer and put me directly on a hold and then hang up! I had to call 5x to finally get someone on the phone! The second time I called they answered after the 7th call! I honestly thought this has to be a prank because never in my life have I've been to a doctors office that functioned this way! The first red flag was the clear HIPPA violation! But I had already took off work and I was there! I expected better service considering being located in the woodlands! I ended up selecting Dr. Meghan Hunter after researching the credentials of doctors in the area. The entire staff is extremely friendly. They remember details about me and my family when we visit. The nurses are awesome and are very knowledgable. Dr. Hunter is extremely smart and personable. She does not treat folks like they are a 10 minute slot. In fact, she spends as much time as it takes to take care of business -- sessions with her are not rushed. Each time I have visited Dr. Hunter, she clearly articulated my issues, described my treatment plans, then got me on the road to wellness. Yes, sometimes they run behind, but it's a doctor's office. Sometimes there are serious issues that they must tend to and sometimes there are routine issues. I highly, highly recommend this practice!
