But the main reason for my review is to commend them on there professionalism, there was a younger couple with two kids who had an appointment set about 30 minutes prior the "altercation", the male customer stands up and says "what's the point of making an appointment if you all aren't going to honor it!" I could tell everyone in the lobby became in easy, however the receptionist handled it perfectly, and simply stated that she apologized for the inconvenience and that they were a tad behind. The man begins to over talk her and state that he's got places to be and that this is unacceptable. The lady kindly responds with I understand you are more than welcome to reschedule. The man who of course is furious, completely twisted her words and said to management that she said he and his family can deal with it and just leave. Too many individuals get disrespected in customer service and lied on, and when I can I like to insure that management knows what really happened.

I feel like every other next level was better than this one. I will not be back to this location. During that time, I noticed multiple people arriving and being seen right away because they had appointments. When I brought up that I had called earlier, the front desk staff became defensive instead of addressing the concern. Plus they charged my co pay without being seen. On a better note, I ended up going to Memorial Hermann Health System just two miles down the road. They helped every other walk in patient and made us wait the entire hour. We had checked in prior to everyone else that they saw before us. I followed every instruction they sent, completed pre-check-in earlier in the day, arrived early, scanned my check-in barcode, and checked in at the desk. While sitting in the waiting room, I received a text at 4:44 PM, one minute before my appointment, saying my appointment had been cancelled. When I went back to the desk, I was told they had been trying to verify my insurance for about 20 minutes, yet no one told me there was an issue while I was sitting right there. My insurance has not changed in over a year. I had taken time off work to attend this appointment and followed every step they required, only to have it cancelled without warning while I was already in the building. When I asked to speak to the doctor, I was told the doctor had already left just minutes after my scheduled appointment time. Very disappointing experience and a complete waste of time. All I did was show up on time, with my insurance card, identification and my debit card for a co-pay.

Arriving upstairs is when I am informed the doctor left. No idea when he will be returning. Someone could have called me to inform me not to drive 1 hour (one way) to this appointment.
