When the air conditioner didn't work this summer we thought that it was probably something they didn't hook up correctly after replacing the furnace, so we had the old company come back out. They swore it was nothing they had done and that our entire central air system needed replaced and said it was going to cost us over $7000. They gave us a whole laundry list of things that they said were broken. I didn't trust them and thought it had to be something they did since it worked just fine until they replaced the furnace. So I called AC Service company out to give us a second opinion. Jarrod was amazing. It turns out that it wasn't something that the other company did wrong. However, it was a simple fix of replacing the thermostat and now the air-conditioning is working fine!!! That other company was super shady and was going to cost us over $7000 (and based on how slow they were fixing the furnace, wouldn't be done for several weeks). Jarrod of AC service company had it fixed for under $400 the same evening. And he showed us several things that the previous furnace people did that were not up to code and could be downright dangerous. AC service company saved our budget and possibly saved us a major problem next winter. I am so grateful for AC service company and I will be using them from now on! Thank You Jarrod!!!

My husband and I were very disappointed with the deception that was practiced on Allied Services…read morepart against a service call made during Thanksgiving week. When we discovered that our furnace suddenly quit working, we had determined that it needed a new transformer. So my husband purchased a new one (for $17) and hooked it up. We then learned that not only was the transformer bad, but also the pc board. After talking to several different reputable heating/cooling businesses, we decided to go with Allied Services since they were relatively local. My husband immediately explained to the supervisor (Mark) on the phone that there was a brand new transformer already in place and that we probably only needed a new pc board and to make sure that whoever made the service call was not to turn on the furnace and run it for a period of time, or the brand new transformer would blow. For whatever reason, the service guy apparently didn't know this or chose to ignore this information because the next thing we knew, he said the transformer had blown and needed replaced. I was at home and gave the ok to replace it, not knowing any better. The original transformer cost us only $17, but Allied Services sold us their versionfor $88 (very large difference in price). Long story short, they wouldn't put a new pc board in without a new transformer and now they refuse to give us even part of our money back. This situation is clearly their error, especially when the service guy even admitted the transformer looked brand new to him. I'm disappointed from a customer's point of view the lack of customer focus with this company. My husband and I will not be returning to them and definitely will not recommend them to anyone.

For our relatively small, 3 bedroom house we were given a quote of $30,000!! After telling Valentine this is outrageous, they responded by saying the cost is so high because it includes their "premium service plan." On top of this outrageous quote, they tried to charge us $650 to come out for the estimate. We refused to pay. The technician then laughed and said "whoops, I think my math was wrong."We still ended up paying them $350 but it was worth it to get them out of our house. Had 2 other replacement estimates done by 2 other companies; both were less than $7,000. Not even sure if con artist is a strong enough term. This company is simply dishonest and will say anything to get as much money from you as they can. There are plenty of other HVAC services in the area. STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE!
