I had a great experience at Cliff's Hideaway this morning. I was served by the bar maid Karen, who is a wonderful lady. She makes the best drinks. What I liked best about Karen is that she is easy to talk to and she is easy on the eyes too. Karen works Monday and Tuesday nights. I had a wonderful start to my week thanks to Karen and Cliff's Hideaway.

Trash service. Owner is a jerk and rude to his customers. Waited 20 min to get service. They serve locals only.

Just making my timely updated review. The lights were still dimmed, which brought a great ambiance…read moreto the dinner experience. It was very relaxed and just had chill vibes. The evening started off strong, as we stopped by during Hoppy Hour (around 9ish). There wasn't a wait, and it wasn't too busy, so we were seated right away. The front staff was nice and polite. She gave us the option of either a tall round table or a shorter rectangular table. We of course, opted for the slightly shorter (height-wise) rectangular table. Once we were seated, we were given the menu, and the waitress told us that we would be right with us. She stopped by to ask about drinks, and we opted for water. She dropped off water and came back with perfect timing because by then we were ready to order. I also love the simplicity of the menu. There really aren't too many options where you feel overwhelmed, but there are still enough choices to pick from. Shout out to the pastrami quesadilla, I didn't realize it had been swapped for a new menu item until I asked about it this time around, but I'll be waiting for its comeback! We ordered a few items: the mac and cheese balls, the Wagyu bone marrow burger with truffle fries, and a double smash burger with ribbed finger potatoes. We had to get the mac and cheese balls since it was Hoppy Hour! I also didn't realize that on Wednesdays, the double smash burgers are half off. I'll definitely remember that for next time. After we ordered, the food came out quicker than I expected. It was a nice surprise. I think the first item came out about 10 minutes after our initial order. The mac and cheese balls came out hot, which was great. The breading made them super crispy and gave a nice crunch that balanced really well with the softer, chewier mac and cheese inside. I was glad the inside wasn't too runny since that would have made it like lava! I didn't see a cheese pull this time, but next time I'll try again to see if I can catch one. It was a great start to the meal. The burgers came out shortly after we finished the mac and cheese balls. I totally forgot that the truffle fries came with sauce. I should have asked for the sauce on the side, but it wasn't a problem that it was added on top of the fries. It just made them get soggy a bit faster, but that's no problem; it just means I've got to work faster! The burger was good and came out super juicy. I asked for it medium, and it looked about medium, so no complaints here! I never realized before, but the bread was so fluffy... it was a super pillowy bun with a nice bounce to it. It definitely helped balance out the meatiness of the patty. The hint of tomato gave it a nice, refreshing bite and really helped cut through the richness of the meat. The onions also added a nice sweetness to the burger, which was appreciated. I also snuck a bite of the ribbed potatoes, and they were good as well. They were a bit crispy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside, with just a touch of saltiness. I also stole a pickle from the double smash and realized I probably should have asked for pickles on my burger, but I'll remember that for my next visit!

Very tentative and helpful. The food not only was delicious, but definitely a nice sized portion where you should be able to share depending on how much you eat. I was definitely able to bring leftovers home.. originally I came for the pastrami chili cheese pizza. I got the personal size and every bite was worth it very cheesy. You can taste all the flavors down to the chili sauce. I also ordered their queso birria tacos also full of flavor, nice size the right amount of meat and cheese. Everything portioned out perfectly at last, but not least shout out to the Chef for the comp giant mozzarella steak with an insane incredible cheesy pull ! There's so many other items on the menu. I would like to try so I definitely will be back and I definitely recommend this establishment. It last but not least this establishment does have wine and beer.

I didn't know where we were going, so I was surprised to see this was a sports bar with a huge menu that has way more than pizza. We took a seat and the waitress was over quickly to take our orders, he went with what he came for, I had a Supreme pizza. We both got the personal 8" sizes, with his coming in at almost $20, and mine only being $12. I was BEYOND starving so after we ordered my husband got up and asked for an order of chips and salsa. Well, that never arrived. After 30 minutes she brought our pizzas and said the chips & salsa were coming next, I told her to forget it. I'm not sure why she thought we wanted it after our pizzas? Oh well. Pizzas were good! Mine was a typical supreme pizza with LOADS of cheese, tasty marinara, mushrooms, onions, olives, bell peppers, fresh tomatoes and a small amount of sausage and pepperoni. It's a very veggie forward pizza, which I was fine with. I was full after two slices. I thought his pizza would be super heavy, but is was not! The base was chili that tasted a LOT like Tommy's, so we were happy with it. There is a layer of cheddar cheese, some pastrami, and lots of pickles. I picked up on the chili flavor more than anything. Lunch was $40 for the two pizzas, a beer, and an iced tea. If we lived closer I am sure we would have them again, but it wasn't great enough to make a trip out to Cerritos again.

It was busy but there was room at the bar top so we sat there. He ordered the pulled pork sandwich that had Mac n cheese and onion straws in it. And garlic fries for the add. What a flavor bomb! The bread was toasty and the Manx n cheese paired nicely with the sweet and savory pork. The onion straws were perfect for texture. Very good very rich, we should've opted for slaw on the side, but the fries were delicious. I had the grilled cheese and homemade tomato basil bisque soup. That was so darn delicious! The soup is VERY mild in flavor but nice. The cheese to bread ratio was spot on, the bread was toasted perfectly. I ate it by both dipping in the soup and on their own. Served was very nice but she was busy! Great experience. Will return!

We came on a Tuesday evening right near the end of happy hour. It wasn't too crowded and there was a lot of seating available. They have tables and booths around the restaurant as well as some seats at the bar. They had some sports games playing on the TVs at the bar and there was an ice cream bar at the front. The service was great. Everyone was quick and attentive and really nice. Since we made it for happy hour we were able to get some zucchini sticks for $5. They were crispy and delicious. Really flavorful and soft on the inside. I got the meatloaf Sam- which which was HUGE. My husband got the Tuesday special which was a smash burger with fries and a drink for $15.99. He got a margarita as his drink so he got a great deal. The burger was a little small but he ate the other half of my giant sandwich so it worked out. The meatloaf sandwich had a delicious crispy sourdough bread with a lot of melted cheese. I added some ranch as I thought it was a bit dry but overall it was good. It came with a big helping of fries as well and I got the garlic fries. They were very garlicky but so good with the ranch. My parents got the Cobb salad and the turkey pop pie. My mom didn't love the pop pie, I think because it wasn't really a pie- just a dish with biscuits on top but the Cobb salad was really hearty with a lot of toppings and it filled them up plenty. They ended up taking most of the pop pie to go. This place has a lot of great deals so make sure you check them out. I think Thursday's kids eat free so it can get a little crazy then but the menu is great as there is so much to choose from so everyone can get what they want!
