By March 2025 (less than 4 months later) the piece put in by their jeweler (to make the ring larger) fell out! Goldmart kind of shrugged their sholders, saying we do not use them anymore for repairs. Goldmart sent their ring to a new jeweler, because they did use their prior jeweler, where to repair the ring would be $350! I had them send my ring back unfixed. I had the ring repaired locally at a different jeweler for $50.

I recently hired Bill Barnett to tune my piano. He spent a lot of time on it, and the piano sounded…read moremuch better than before. However, I was disappointed to discover that it wasn't tuned to the industry standard of A440. While I didn't explicitly request it to be tuned to A440, it is the standard for piano tuning. The next day when I discovered it was so flat, the tuner explained that he believed tuning it flat would help it stay in tune longer. This approach was not what I expected. Usually if a piano is very out of tune, or has never been tuned before, it takes a couple of visits to get it up to A440 and get it to stay there. When I expressed my concerns, he was very understanding, said it was a miscommunication, and willingly refunded my payment, which I appreciated. While his effort and customer service were good, I've decided to go with someone else to ensure the piano is tuned to the standard. This tuner may work for someone who wants a piano that is tuned to "itself," for a good price, but unfortunately, my son and I couldn't even play along to an instructional video on YouTube because it was so flat.
