I am unfortunately one of those people with weakened enamel that is hereditary so I find myself in the chair getting procedures regularly. It has been a while since I needed anything until yesterday. To say I was terrified would have been an understatement. I couldn't eat, I was shaking, my heart was racing all the way up until I sat in the chair. Then I was reminded why I love this practice. Sara cranked up the 60's jams to give me something to concentrate on, threw a stress ball in my hand, and helped me calm down. Once I was settled, she talked me through every step that was going to happen. When Dr. John came in he makes you feel like your friends from way back with his calm bedside manner. My crown was a breeze with the help of some gas... and his steady hands. I trust Dr. John and the staff of professionals implicitly and that's why I will always recommend his practice to anyone who will listen. His front office professionals are always going above and beyond. Alisa and Stacy are kind and thoughtful. I recently went back because of the permanent, inside wires became loose and had to have it reglued. I was upset that they were not transparent with their pricing. I was told a certain price over the phone and they said I could decide whether to move forward with the process or not, but when they took me in and the Orthodontist had already reviewed my mouth and the broken piece, at that point, I was charged for the consultation and could not go back. He was kind, very patient, and even made us laugh while explaining thoroughly what he could see needed to be done, all at a very fair price for the service, expertise and great treatment that were apparent that we were going to get. Over a period of the 10 years, we dealt with the good people at Dr. Roncone's office. They ALWAYS welcomed us with a smile, and had everything ready & waiting for us each and every time we went. He only hires top notch, extremely well trained registered dental assistants to work on his patients, and everyone of his front desk and full staff were always sharp, professional yet warm and personable. His son, though a fine orthodontist himself, has his own practice in Fallbrook and has not practiced with his father since I have been going there. Shortly after my oldest daughter got her braces off, she was involved in a horrendous accident which bashed in the whole left side of her beautiful face and caused several teeth to abscess severely. We made ONE phone call to Dr. Roncone's emergency number from the hospital (it was around 2am ) and he returned the call immediately instructing us what we should do. As soon as she was released, he instructed me to bring her in, did full panoramic xrays, and quickly began to repair what he could. All at NO EXTRA CHARGE! He felt terrible for what had happened to her and refused to take anything for his services. He also called Dr. Buss to help us by wiring her jaw and saving the teeth so they would heal and he could bring them back correctly on the jaw. My daughter's smile has been fully restored and I will be forever grateful to him and his amazing staff there at Roncone Orthodontics. I have nothing but full respect for Dr. Roncone. I will continue to recommended him to EVERYONE I ever speak to. He IS the Best and there is NO ONE else that even comes close.

If my son forgets to grab wax or bands during his appointment days, he'll stop in and they provide him with some so hassle or anything. We just recently brought my 7yo in and did her consult. Everything was explained to her, shown examples, she was spoken to the entire time to make her feel comfortable and welcome. Dr. Albaugh has been great with all of us. I honestly have no complaints at all. Anytime I see someone looking for an orthodontist for their kids I recommend this place. The office has an awesome superhero theme, and my kids enjoyed playing in the free classic games arcade. As a family, we also liked the free movie premiere every summer and the ticket contests. The only con I can think of is that consultations were only available in the mornings, which can require a bit of scheduling in terms of work and/or school; however, the team is very cooperative and helpful with scheduling overall. Also, it should be noted that this was only for consultations; all other appointments could be made throughout the day. Shadowridge Orthodontics was great-- my kids had a pleasant time there, and I'm happy that their teeth are no longer crooked!
