I called and that day he came to my residence and checked the damage of the small crack in my windshield. He was honest and told me he could fix the crack but because of how it was spreading that it may continue and that it would probably be a waste of money to have him try to stop it at this point. He gave me his card and a quote on the cost to replace the windshield (cheaper then the cost of the windshield I had just replaced 8 months ago by someone else) when the time comes. Not only did Ben do a great job, he called me back on a Sunday and helped me to plan a time to bring in the car. His estimate was reasonable and he offered to much more: tinted the brow, glued together a loose gasket, and told me about a hairline crack in the original rubber frame which could have caused additional problems. Ben Hernandez deserves a gold medal! I stupidly pulled out of my garage with the hatch open on a Sunday. I thought it was only the glass that broke. Ben came to my work on Tuesday (2 days later) to replace it. He noticed that the place where the window had to sit was bent and the windshield wiper had issues. I asked him to do what he could. Ben took the time to take the piece off, straighten it out, and then replaced my window, saving me over $1,000! It made him late for his next appointment but didn't leave until the window was in and made sure the wiper worked. Last year he replaced my front window. He arranges his time around yours.
