When I arrived at DeWitt's I went inside and informed the woman in the office I had a tire that I thought had a nail in it. She asked me to leave the keys in the vehicle and someone would take a look. A young man came out and didn't say a word or give me eye contact. He drove into the shop and removed the tire. About 30 minutes later I was told the job was done and it would be $50. I know, inflation and all, but the last time I had a nail removed it was around $20. I didn't think to ask to see what he found in the tire. On all other tire repair occasions I was always shown what was in the tire. As I was leaving, the low tire pressure light was still on. I went back inside and asked the woman one, did they check all the tires to make sure they had the correct tire pressure and two, would they reset the low tire pressure light. I was told they usually check all tires to make sure they have the right air pressure (usually). That I needed to drive the vehicle 20 miles and the light would go off. I drove over 400 miles and the light is still on. I Googled how to reset the light and I need to release air out of each tire in order for the light to go off. Let's think about that. If the tires are inflated to the correct pressure and I need to let air out of each tire to reset the light, wouldn't it be best to do this at a shop where they can over inflate the tires or be able to put the lost air back in the tires? The tire repair may be excellent, but the overall customer service coming out of the shop was very disappointing.

The customer service department was fantastic--friendly, accommodating, and very knowledgeable about what tires would work best for my situation. They made what could have been a stressful moment feel easy and reassuring. Highly recommend this shop if you want honest advice, great service, and people who truly care about helping you out. A small town local shop that is genuine in all aspects.
