He told me to F*** off as the line of cars trying to pull into the lot from the drive thru was backing up and preventing anybody from getting parked to wait for food. The entire parking lot away from the door and handicapped and few other fronts spots was open. He may do good work but at what cost. He even prevented someone from backing out of their handicapped spot until after he finally left. To you sir you can rot in hell.

The quote seemed fair and we decided to go ahead with it. Final measurements were taken (measure twice, cut once, right?) at the physical location. After sending a verbal/text confirmation I wanted to proceed with the order, I was told the order was placed. I waited nearly 4 weeks with no word back. I was initially told that the windows take 2-3 weeks to come in. After contacting the contractor, I was provided with very little detail as to the order status... just that 'they didn't come in', etc. I had to keep inquiring myself. After some back and forth, I contacted the supplier 'Alside' and attempted to get to the bottom of this myself, as it was then 6 weeks since I placed the order. In the end, without much information from the contractor, I was able to get information from Alside and found out that the actual order was not placed until 1 month after I gave the contractor the go-ahead to place the order (as the supplier and Alside go back and forth to confirm measurements). It also took a total of 9 weeks to get the windows and door in. Due to the lack of communication and unprofessionalism, we decided not to have the contractor install the windows and doors. We paid him for the windows and doors (as labor was going to be included - due to a promotion they had). Once we had our own contractor install them, we discovered that the measurements for 3 of the windows and the sliding door were off (in both the x and y axis) by 4 inches. While there was no issue installing them, they are significantly smaller than what could have gone there. They let in less light and when you look from the outside, they seem like 'hobbit' windows compared to what was there. Also, while all doors in our house (I measured) at 79.5" - 80" tall (the physical opening of the door), the sliding door is 76" tall. I feel like I have to almost duck to get out of my house into the back yard, because the door height is only a few inches taller than me. We are luck that we are not any taller! The old door was 80" height. The measurements were taken from the inside of the house and did not take into account the enclosed frame of the old windows and sliding door. The measurements should have been taken from the outside of the house from the frame opening, rather than from the floor height from the inside. We are glad we did not have him install, as I flipped a lid when my contractor laughed at the window sizes when he went to install them. Obviously, we could not return the windows and the contractor (from Room2Room Construction) just said 'well, you fired me from install' and was nothing but sarcastic and dismissive that anything was his fault.

Communication throughout the process was like pulling teeth unless a payment was due. The only time he responded promptly was the day I wrote said review, and he only texted me to tell me I was rude. No apologies, no effort to correct the problems with craftsmanship. There's a reason this guy has a list of people suing him-- the circuit court search results say more than I ever could-- he's a con artist, and is pretty darn rude himself!

I.e. in the 25 years of owning my homes, I've never had to deal with a plumber. Jon was able to come out the next morning, he went above and beyond to make sure everything was running properly before he left. We had someone else come out and tell us "Well...you're 13 years into a 15 year roof and you're about due". They didn't even go up on the roof. Well we panicked as it wasn't a good time financially (is it ever?) for a large repair. I submitted an online request for a free estimate from Dick's Roof Repair late yesterday afternoon. Dick Pignotti came out within 24 hours and actually got up on the roof and inspected it. He told me that it wasn't that bad yet and we had another (approx) 2-5 years on it. He gave me tips and suggestions to correct any potential issues that may be causing the extra wear in some spots. I asked what it would cost to replace it, when it comes due as we will need to save for it. He gave me a rough estimate that was so very fair and feasible for us to save for when needed. I couldn't be happier. I asked for his card AND am doing this review so that I make sure that he is the one I call for any and all of our future roofing, siding, windows and gutter needs. I'm not doing a commercial....well I guess I was doing a commercial. But he deserves it! A big stress relief happened in just a short visit!
