After meeting with Jim he gave me his honest opinion on what I wanted and then explained his ideas for my garage. After a little hesitation on my part and a couple changes to Jim's ideas we went with his recommendation and could not be happier. The quality of his work and craftsmanship is incredible and believe me I notice everything. Everyday during the construction from the grading, concrete, electrical, framing, roof, siding and trim work Jim was here making sure everything was perfect and we were happy. We also had Jim open up the back wall of our current attached garage and add a garage door to make it a drive thru garage. As for pricing Jim was very competitive and upfront with the costs my build was right on the money to what he originally quoted with the exception of some extra stone and concrete do to the grade of our yard but he was upfront with that right away at the beginning of the build so there was no surprise at the end. I would happily and without hesitation hire Jim for any other work I'm looking to have done and would highly recommend Deck it Out Builders to anyone and everyone! Tyler was not pushy at all! We told him what we wanted, which was to replace every window in our home, a total of 13 openings, with the front and back windows being quite large. He was very professional and knowledgeable. When he left our home, we were confident this was the company we would go with. Fast-forward to install. We had the two-person team of Josh & Ivan, and let me tell you, they were amazing! Not only were they meticulous and neat, but they also took their time, stayed on schedule, and were two of the nicest guys we have ever dealt with. Our project took about a week, and Josh & Ivan arrived on time every morning and worked hard until they finished in the evening. Not only did they keep us informed throughout the day, but every evening before they left, Josh would also explain the game plan for the next day. I had Clearview install windows in my home over 2 years ago. During installation, there were…read moreissues, but Clearview addressed them. Today one of my windows developed a stress fracture. I contacted Clearview, and had a prompt reply that it would be a warranty repair. A few hours later, Ron called to tell me it would not be a warranty repair. I did not understand why it was no longer a warranty claim. The window failed. Ron indicated it was a two-year warranty. There was nothing they could do. He would not try to do anything. Their mistake in misquoting me as a warranty repair was my problem. He said he couldn't help it if I didn't understand. I became frustrated, and asked why he thought it was ok to insult his customers and not understand why I was not happy. I asked him to treat me with respect and help to solve the problem. His response was to ask if I was done criticizing him. No apology for insulting me, no apology for misquoting me, no compromises. He was right. I was wrong. This company does not understand customer service. They made a mistake. They made it my problem. They insulted me for questioning them.
