I had planned my whole.day around this massage and even had an Uber ride there dropping me off. How unprofessional. Now this is the reason for the star. They apologized and even offered a discount of $30. I appreciated them trying to make it right. They rescheduled me.for the following day and I got.Amparo. She was amazing. I normally go to the westside location. I just might come back if I get Amparo.

I booked my appointment online which was super convenient but I thought it was odd that the website wouldn't let you fill out your address and stuff like they have you do once you're in store... So I got to my appointment at the requested 15 minutes prior and filled out the thingy that says all the spots the masseuse can touch and the spots you want them to focus on. Then I sat there. And sat there. And sat there. I am a stickler for my massages starting on time- as everyone should be- so when my appointment time approached I tried not to get irritated. My time was 11:30 and if the clock had made it to 11:40 and I had not been taken to the back, I would have said something. But right around 11:38 my masseuse, David, came to get me. We went to the room and it only took me less than a minute to undress and lay down. When you go for a massage you should wear as little clothes as possible just to make it easier. (At least that's what I do) I scheduled a 90 minute deep tissue. Let me tell you... if I could have taken David home with me, I would have. He was incredible!! I had ALOT more tension in my shoulders than I thought and he worked everything out. Oh em gee, I can't begin to tell you how I felt like a brand new woman afterwards! Definitely recommend him. He's at the one on Joe Battle. I didn't sign up for the monthly thingy, but I did schedule another appointment with David in three weeks. If he does as well as he did this time, I might just do the membership. So if you can get passed the whole franchise thing (which usually turns me off), go check him out! He totally earns my vote!

I brought him to see Alex Lopez at Sundown Massage for a deep tissue massage for a little bit of relief. The VA has been filling my husband's stomach with nothing but narcotics and lidocaine patches to dull the pain so we needed to try something different. We walked into Alex's absolutely Zen-garden home and the first thing that hit us was a blast of refreshing aromas that would calm a raging beast from a tantrum! Next, Alex's warm smile and beautiful demeanor eased making his home feel like ours! We were not customers at a place of business; we were old friends visiting a retreat spa to get away from any and all problems just outside of the front door. My husband has PTSD and meeting new people, especially in a confined space such as a private massage room with one we just met, should have sent him into a rage filled trauma episode. Alex made sure that my husband felt super comfortable and with a serene atmosphere in the room, he went to work on my husband's war torn body. Although the pain of a deep tissue massage is enough to make a grown man wail in agony, Alex did his best to make sure and put my husband at ease through each knot and cramp. Working his way on his surgery scars, Alex made sure to relieve every pressure point without causing excess pain. My husband came out looking like a wet linguine noodle but he actually claimed that he regained some feeling in his legs! I'm not claiming that Alex is a miracle worker by any means but he is definitely our guardian angel!! As per my husband: We highly recommend and encourage any and all Veterans, disabled or not, to visit Alex at Sundown Massage because he is not only legit but appreciates the Warfighter and works extra hard to make sure that we are back to fighting condition or as close as possible.

I should of walked away when she was telling me how long and beautiful my lashes were. She asked me if I got eyelash extensions before and she was so shocked when I said yes. She let me know that the lashes she was putting on me were clusters, plastic and needed no upkeep? None? I knew that was false. But Fine, I thought, I'm going to Vegas I want something dramatic. During the application my eyes itched like crazy! Instead of a nice eye gel pad under my eyes, she had put tape and it was a struggle to get the tape off my eyes when she was done. She grabbed an ugly eyelash curler full of gunk and decided to use this to make the eyelashes curl out of my eyes. So odd! The following day after application, one eye was so red and burning! I had even called and they said I can come in to have her take a look, it was too late as my flight was leaving that morning. A friend of mine told me that's normal with "cheap" eye lash extensions. Now after two weeks later she put so much glue on my lashes that it tore off my natural long lashes. It served it's purpose for my trip, but was it worth the pain and discomfort and the lack of lashes I have now? Absolutely not... if you are looking for eyelash extensions, please, please, spend the money and go to a licensed professional. Your eyes are worth it.
