My son who was in the 7th grade at the time needed to take the SAT (note not the PSAT, the actual…read moreSAT that is usually taken my high school juniors and seniors) for an academic scholarship that he was applying for. The scholarship has a cut off 500 in the math score to apply. He started at Mathnasium in early January and the SATs would be in early April. So he had three months to cover about three years of math if you go by the grade level the SATs usually cover. Only going two, sometimes three times a week, my son was able to score 610 in the math section of the SATs. To top it off, he also won the scholarship. I can't say enough about the quality of the tutoring that Naresh and his staff provides. My son will now start to prepare for the ISEE tests at Mathnasium, and I am sure they will guide him to a great score for that exam as well.

I had never played guitar before (I didn't even own a guitar), but started off wanting to l learn some classical guitar before quickly shifting to acoustic. Bil is a great teacher and was able to get me started on both. Soon (and with a lot of practice on my own time!) I was playing increasingly difficult classical songs, before determining that I wanted to be able to play and sing along and switched over to playing mostly acoustic guitar. Bil is great at guiding you through songs that you want to learn to play, adapting them as needed to suit your vocal range, and breaking down complex sections into smaller, digestible ones. Bil is a talented musician and teacher. Thanks to Bil I can say that I know how to play the guitar and look forward to resuming lessons with him again when my schedule permits. Thanks Bil!

But the bathroom is not that sanitary, and they repeat worksheets even if the kid has comprehended the subject. I recommend having a private tutor for your child if you really want them to excel.
