My older and litttle one both attend Hudson Learning Center/Hudson Kids Academy. It's a great program with structured activities and outings everyday. Maddy the owner is good at management and the most important thing is the genuinely caring staff. Last month they also had a egg-hatching project and my little toddler saw the newborn chicks out of shell! My older one would still love to return to see his teacher or ex classmates' siblings. He did very, very well on the exam, and I give much of the credit to Nataliya (the rest of credit goes to my son, who worked very hard!). Going into this, we had reason for deep concern about his prospects. Well, we got the scores yesterday and they are outstanding. Thank you, Nataliya! On a personal level, Nataliya worked wonderfully with him. She is incredibly patient, and seems to have great instincts for how to work with different children. She worked with my daughter as well, just not as much, and clearly tailored her presentation to the nature of the child she was working with. (It bears mentioning that my son has some learning issues, which she clearly grasped and adapted to very effectively.) From a practical perspective, the virtual tutoring worked exceptionally well for my son. His generation is often more inclined to interact with others online than in person, and that is especially true for him. The flexibility afforded by the remote sessions was terrific - weekends in particular - making it much easier for him to keep up with, and follow through on, the lessons. I would enthusiastically recommend Nataliya to any student searching for help with the challenges of navigating today's high school workload!
