He was helpful and knowledgeable about the home and local market when we attended the open house and we were very impressed with his work. After a poor experience with our buyer's agent, my husband and I said we would make sure to contact John when it came time to sell our home. And about 5 years later, in a much different market, we contacted John to help us list our home. He was extremely responsive and communicated well throughout the process. There were a few hiccups in escrow - not due to John's fault, but due to a rapidly changing market - and he made sure to communicate promptly and directly and provide us with our options. Every time I had a question, it seemed that John read my mind and sent a text - even if it was on a Sunday! We really appreciated working with him throughout the process and how well he communicated. While we are no longer Bay Area residents, we wholeheartedly recommend John to anyone looking to buy or sell in the East Bay - he is the best!

I was focused on Berkeley, Emeryville and Oakland and expressed interest in a BMR (Below Market Rate) unit in Emeryville. John quickly respond to my inquiry. He helped me view the condo, learn about the details involved with a BMR and provided answers to any questions I had along the way. As a first time prospective home-buyer I had a lot of questions! But he was always friendly, attentive, and patient with me. We looked at several places together before I settled on the place I really wanted, a really amazing condo at the Pacific Cannery Lofts in Oakland. John represented me through the entire transaction, getting me a killer deal on the place (on our first offer)! He helped me with all the details of the negotiations, was in attendance at all inspections, guided me through the escrow process, and continuously checked in with me throughout. He first priority was always to have me feel comfortable with any decisions that were made, either by me or by the seller. I consider myself both a New Yorker and a Bay Area native, having lived in both places for big chunks of my life and I'd say that John combines the best attributes of both Coasts: fast, no-nonsense, direct, and has your back -- yet also patient, personable, kind, funny, and always a pleasure to talk to and spend time with. I wouldn't hesitate one second to recommend John to someone looking for the first home, their next home, or their last home. I am incredibly happy with my place, paid an amazing price for it, and found the entire process to be as stress-free as one could possibly hope for. And I owe this all to John.

Jeremy and his team answered my call and took care of my questions on the weekend when I really needed them to and as a first time home buyer, I can say they were essential.

Is Ken a good fit for you? Let me say that when I was a first-time home buyer, Ken slowed down to walk me through the basics, and was happy to answer any question that I had. As my needs have changed and have gotten more sophisticated, Ken's broad experience has become indispensable and have given me a great deal of additional financial flexibility. After working with Sam and his team for the past several months and putting in a large number of offers on various houses in an historically crazy market for buyers, we finally got a bid accepted. Sam and Ron, his loan coordinator, really went the extra mile to ensure that we funded in time to close. The thing I appreciate the most about Sam and Ron is that they didn't try to steer us in any particular direction, but rather showed us options, explained the costs and benefits, and let us choose our path. The process of buying a house is a stressful one: this is a well-documented truth and is readily apparent to anyone who has gone through the process or who has watched another person go through the process. As hard as the process of finding the right house can be, the money piece is where the rubber hits the road. Working with Sam Krueger and his team made it much less stressful: they guided us through the process and everything went according to the plan and the schedule. I cannot recommend working with Sam Krueger enough. Sam and Ron, thank you for your efforts on our behalf: you truly made our deal happen and we can't thank you enough!
