Today, Cleanout Express Jamaica, NY, cleared out my storage unit. From scheduling the appointment to confirming the appointment, to the pickup, everything was smooth, professional, and friendly. I would absolutely recommend Cleanout Express. Considering the stress of cleaning out a storage unit in New York, this was definitely a value for the service provided. read more

An awesome job as always. I've used their services several times and they always do an excellent job. It wasn't easy lifting all my bags of yard waste. They made it look easy. They're also very friendly and polite. Highly recommended. Awesome! read more

So I had used these guys 2 other times before this and had no issues. But yesterday 8/27/2025, was something else, what a shit-show!! I've been cleaning out my garage for the better part of 3 years. Please understand that this garage was PACKED from back to front. 2 yard sales, private sales, throwing things out, and finally, a clean out company. There was so much stuff in my garage. It was going to take two trucks to get it all out. The first trip was two weeks ago and they did a wonderful job not gonna lie. So I called them back to finish the rest of the job and all I got was a runaround. They were aware that they were going to be removing several heavy pieces of machinery. So the owner in his infinite wisdom sent two guys. And trust me, they were in no condition to lift heavy pieces of machinery. Now I did tell them in advance, and the guys who did the initial work informed their office of what needed to be removed. Pictures were sent communication had been made, and I thought we had an understanding of what needed to be done. Well, the owner on the day of sent to gentlemen to remove about five pieces of machinery. I knew immediately I was going to have to reschedule, but what followed my decision was unbelievable and unprofessional. Not only was this guy arguing with me over his workers cell phone. They had me on speakerphone, but when he thought I was no longer around, he actually said to his worker "try to take him for another $200". I immediately responded with "dude I'm standing right here". And of course, right after that, there was an awkward silence. He tried to make several excuses, actually said that they sent out the wrong truck. Trust me, they didn't send out the wrong truck. Then he said he wasn't gonna spend money paying more guys to come out and do this job that two were fine. Please keep in mind that when they hold out all the garbage the light stuff just two weeks ago they sent out four guys, but for this job the heavy stuff he sent out two guys. So basically this guy screwed up from the beginning and tried to blame everyone else except for his own cheapness.. it's sad to say, but I will never use them again, and I will never recommend them to anyone. Remember my warning, my friends, don't use this company. Even his workers were apologizing profusely for his attitude and his unprofessionalism. Couldn't have been a worse experience. read more

Cleanout Express, Jamaica, NY 11435 is a business true to its word: Efficient, Thorough, Fast, Courteous, Kind And Empathetic! My initial experience with Gus on the phone made me feel absolutely confident that this company was the best of its kind-- and helmed by a skilled and well mannered specialist. The team that came to my home was gracious, professional and caring. Christian, Bobby and Elvis are Human Beings-- they performed an arduous task with ease at a very brisk pace. They came in with a very reasonable quote to empty the contents of our home. They were on time and did a great job I recommend them highly.

The crew of four arrived on time and got right to work. They were friendly, efficient and quick. They asked questions when neededand cleaned up when done. Absolutely no complaints and would highly recommend. read more

First impressions started with the courteous & helpful conversation on the phone, with a young woman by the named of Felicia & from there on up it only got better! The crew of 3 men, showed up promptly at 8:00am, as promised. They first came in to assess what needed to be taken away & immediately got to work. They were efficient, courteous & extremely careful as to not bump into walls. Because our hallway is not wide & we have a chest and numerous pictures hung up, the fact that they could maneuver with such care, even large items like a refrigerator, was really impressive. And after everything had been taken out, they came back in to sweep up any debris. AWESOME!!! We will definitely be using this company, many times over, without hesitation & will recommend them to anyone needing their services! FABULOUS should be their middle name!!! I was moving, and I needed some furniture removed. And they did show up, an hour late, and take everything, and the guys were cordial, but it wound up costing me literally twice the initial quote. First of all, they go by the "truckload." But they don't have a truck. It's a minivan without a top. I asked about disassembly ahead of time. They said $50 and up. They told me before they started that if it takes more than two hours it will cost me an extra $200. (No mention of this before hand when I was comparing quotes.) At that point it was too late to hire someone else. They had to break up my elliptical. Which would not have been necessary if they had an actual truck. The guy spent 20 minutes on the phone finding out how much dissambling it would cost. $179. Then it took them another 20 minutes trying to do it with a drill. Ultimately they cut it. Which took 5 minutes. So I wound up paying for an extra hour for about 20 minutes all of which they spent figuring out how to dissemble the elliptical. Then the guy told me to meet him at his truck to pay the bill instead of charging me right away. I stood there for 15 minutes while they loaded their minivan. Because for some reason they couldn't charge me right away. read more

Came out to the house and gave a competitive estimate. On the day of the actual job they stuck to the price worked hard and filled up half a truck in less than 45 minutes. Many of the items were heavy and balky but that did seem to deter them at all read more

I called this company out of the blue. Knew nothing about them. I live in California and my 93 year old mom lives in Brooklyn NY. I needed to get rid of a very old TV for her that was big and heavy and no one wanted. I always worry about sending people to my mom's house that I don't know, but the minute I spoke to the employees, I was put at ease. They were so kind, understanding and professional. They understood my concerns and said although we can't guarantee a smaller window for the pick up, they will try. Well, not only did they try, they succeeded. Shout out to Anna, Felicia and Gregory for never getting tired of hearing my voice. read more

We had a beat-up old baby grand piano to remove from my dad's house. I called around to a half-dozen places-- some quoted prices of $800 and up, some insisted on sending over estimators first. Cleanup Express quoted a very reasonable estimate, then stuck to it-- no last-minute changes or hidden charges. They scheduled a quick appointment, then showed up when they promised with a crew of three friendly and capable guys who made short work of the job. They went to great effort to protect our rugs and clean up after they were finished. Bottom line: all-around excellent service at a reasonable price. I'd call them again in a heartbeat. read more

These guys are great - well worth the money to have a dirty, difficult job done quickly and professionally. In our case it was a foul smelling refrigerator removed within 24 hours after we contacted them. The office staff efficiently handled our co-op insurance and scheduled the next-day removal. The cleanup crew were nice guys who ingeniously maneuvered our 79 1/2' appliance out an 80" doorway and narrow hallways without a scratch. read more

I had a new sofa arriving and the company wouldn't take the old one - really big, very bulky, pretty awkward to get in and out of even spacious hallways/elevators/corridors. after seeing these reviews, I called. spoke and emailed with Felicia, who was SO nice and friendly. the quote was instant, very reasonable, and we were able to book the following day. insurance documents needed by my building were signed and returned in minutes and the guys that came were incredibly professional, friendly, superquick, didn't dent or damage anything. and the cost was as-quoted. all this in a pandemic! the whole experience of working with Cleanout Express was end to end seamless and I felt good about giving this company my business. would absolutely use again without question. read more

Cleanout Express Corp in Jamaica, Queens is a reliable and efficient company. Pricing is very good and reasonable. My experience was excellent. Gus, the owner was great and very accommodating. His crew, Moses and 2 other guys who came to clean out the garage did a wonderful job. They arrived at the premise a bit earlier than expected, which was great. All of them were efficient, helpful, and friendly - - - willing to take the extra mile. They removed everything out of the garage and cleaned out the mess. I highly recommend Cleanout Express Corp., Jamaica, Queens, NY. I was glad I found the company. I will definitely use the services again. Mary Grace & Family read more

Trying to clean out moms old furniture alone was a chore , I left messagesw/pics if the job with several companies from Yelp and online ads. The next day I spoke with Felicia who gave me a reasonable quote a few hundred $ less than I had been emailed. We set up a time and the guys were in and out in less than an hour. Just added tax to the same quote and were done. Holy Moly! that's such a load off my mind. This cleanout never ends. Call this place ....now....really.....you're welcome! read more

Could no longer deny the time had come to part with my beloved (but undeniably worn-out and clawed to shreds) couch. Based on their Yelp reviews and informative website, I went with Cleanout Express, and am so glad I did. Pre-appointment, was impressed with Gus's real-time communication -- he provided a quick (reasonable) quote, and then he and Felicia kept me up-to-date leading up to the scheduled time. The morning of the appointment, the workmen arrived and were wonderfully pleasant and professional, easily navigating my old friend down five narrow flights. The final price was just as quoted, no surprises. Whole thing took about 20 min. Will definitely be using their services again. Excellent experience. read more

Awesome service! I called and was able to set up a removal for the next day! The estimate was exactly what I was charged. My appointment was set for 8am and at 7:50am my phone was ringing, informing me that the movers were outside! They were able to haul away 20 42-gallon bags within less than 10 minutes. I paid (along with a tip) and they were on their way. Will definitely use them again! read more

Customer service and Tiffany definitely good. However, they only hauled half of the rubbish for the price they quoted me. I came back home after a long day and half the mountain of interior renovation debris was still there. Their estimator came out and said 2 trucks and two trucks were filled to the max (said their guys and my own property manager) but still left half the debris. Not a very good estimate and causes financial strife. Just straight up inaccurate. While helpful, their removal guys were 30 minutes late and complained/overstated quite a bit. Not worth $1400+ for doing only half the job. Find a cheaper scrappier company that gets places on time and gets things done. read more

The crew that visited was nice and professional; however, I was disappointed with the overall experience: - the original estimate was completely wrong. I was told that I would be charged for no more than 3/4 of a truck and they ended up charging for a whole truck - I was also told that the truck was around the corner and would visit within an hour. In actuality, the truck hadn't even left Queens and they arrived in 2.5 hours Given how bad these types of businesses usually are (especially in NY), I expected them to charge more than they estimated and be late. That said, it is still disappointing. The crew was good and I feel bad leaving a negative review. However, management needs a spanking. read more

EXCELLENT Customer Service & Workmanship! I called 5 different companies; contacts from personal referrals and also randomly selected companies and they gave me the lowest quote by a significant margin. I called the office and spoke with Felicia who allowed me to text her the photos of the garbage that I need to be collected. Based on the photos I texted, she provided me a quote. When she gave me the initial quote, it was already hundreds less than any other company that I'd contacted. One even quoted me double the price she did. Felicia explained the WHY behind her pricing and I reasoned that if I paid my neighbor to bag up all the trash then I could save a few dollars and I DID. By bagging up the debris, I was able to save a couple hundred off the originally quoted price and afford other upgrades in our renovation project. She said she could send me a truck out the same day between 12-4pm. Giving a 4-hour window could be a drag UNLESS......Prior to the employees' arrival, you receive a called from a man at the office informing you that they would be there within an hour. :: Praise dance break:: Cleanout Express for the WIN! Ok, so service so far is banging and then....the 3 Dominican Muscle Musketeers arrive and they are AMAZING! Like seriously so happy to be doing their job. Roy, the lead, introduced his team, Oscar, and Carlos. Before they got started they made sure that everything Felicia said to them was what I knew. Communication and repetition for clarity are key. Because I don't know about you, but I haven't quantified what a ton was since I was in grade school nor have I ever eyeballed what a ton looks like. Managing my expectations was helpful. Roy said that he believed we may have more than 2 tons, but that the office would let us know for sure with a proven receipt after dumping. I called Felicia for the 4th time that day to confirm and she explained in detail and assuaged my concerns. I determined that they were still cheaper and so they began. After the introductions and re-clarifications, they took stock of the space and expressed their process. Mid-way through they realized they might need some backup and another truck pulled up and two extra men arrived to help with the bathtub and the last of it. They arrived at 2pm and were done clearing two huge rooms full of construction trash by 4:04pm. They even swept the space. Lordt! ::Wall slides into a death drop:: I am so full with gratitude, that if we had a working kitchen I would've invited them for dinner. They were kind, friendly and hard working- all around love and light energy. Roy even listened to my mom's retired rant on manners after the work was done. They double- tripled checked before throwing away anything that they thought may be of value. Honestly, if I could give them more stars, I would! I would recommend them to anyone and will! FINAL NOTE: Be sure to offer them water. NYC Summers are hot, but hell for those who don't offer hard working, labor workers water (at the very least) is hotter. Belee dat. read more

Price was considerably less than other quotes I got. Two guys came on time (actually they were there earlier than appointment) to remove several pieces of heavy equipment and debris from renovation work. They were very professional, efficient and friendly. They even swept up all areas where they took stuff!! Done in less than 40 minutes. This was a great experience. read more

Utilized their services prior to moving. Very efficient and they took everything at a VERY competitive price. I highly recommend them.

My Father-in-Law was a "Collector of Stuff". When he passed-away we hired Cleanout Express to remove decades worth of stuff. They did a fantastic job! This was a very difficult job. Dark, damp, dirty and very tight spaces. The guys arrived on-time, worked very hard and then swept-up. The price was reasonable, especially considering how difficult the job was. Incredible service! I sadly had to get rid of an old 1930s full upright piano with a broken soundboard. It was old and HEAVY (close to 800 pounds!) on a 3rd floor walkup and I am moving across the country. After an exhaustive search to other companies with little help, I called these guys. Everything from start to finish was easy, straight forward, professional and courteous, and pricing was absolutely fair. Felecia in customer service answered all my questions promptly and got me a quote within a couple of minutes. Scheduled something for the next morning, on a Saturday! The gentlemen arrived on time, on the dot. Joshua, Brian, and Jose got the job done quickly with nothing but poise and professionalism. I rarely write reviews but they were so wonderful I had to make sure to publicly praise them! Serious all stars. You should absolutely hire these guys for any of your lugging needs. (And make sure to tip your people because they do back breaking work with nothing but positive attitudes and kindness!) read more

The service and professionalism of this company was remarkable! They were on-time, efficient, hardworking and polite. The supervisor Joel R and his two (2) crew members were awesome! Joel took the time to explain the process to me as I was not familiar. I had a lot of crap to move out (A truck and a half) and they did it with a smile on their face with no complaints. They had to cut my big old couch in half to get it out the door and did everything in three hours. They were also reasonable in pricing. I plan to use them again for my mom's basement. I would recommend them 100%. Thanks Cleanout Express! read more

I set up an appointment with a compeditor 1-800-got-junk on line...told them what I needed removed: full size bed and wooden bedframe, bags of dirty kittylitter nd a dew odds and ends. Th two gentlemen arived on time, took a look at the bed and other room and declined to do the job - something about there was a small mound of cat hairball..and that it melled. I said I would immeditely clean up the cat busines...but nope, they walked out. I have a feeling they didn't want to deal with the very heavy bed frme. I told them I had a new bed coming today, but they could care. Called the office, was told it would take a day to get back to me. Why would I want to do business with them again! Immediately called Cleanout Express...they came in a few hours, had a lovely attitude, did the work with no complaints, got well tipped and now I know who to call for rubbish removal...Cleanout Express ...718-658-0979...they cover Nassau and Suffolk Counties as well as NYC borughs. read more

I'm getting new furniture and needed the old stuff removed. This company made the removal of my old furniture SO easy!!! Their workers are efficient, professional and quick. Today was my second time using Cleanout Express. Both times, I called the day before and scheduled an appointment for the next day. They are great!!!! I 100% recommend them. The first time I used these guys they were good. Arrived on time and were done quickly. Not so much this time. Even though I scheduled a final pick up weeks ago, pick up time comes and goes by and I have to call them. I'm told one of their guys cut his arm yesterday and they are down a truck and the one truck they do have is running late. The considerate thing to do would be to call the customer and let them know. So now I have to call the car rental place and tell them I won't be picking the car up at the appointed time which sucks because now my moving is delayed. If you are on a time schedule don't expect these guys to help with that. read more

THIEVES! I called to have my elderly mother's furniture/junk removed. She was recently diagnosed with dementia and we were in a bind. I spoke with a woman, Patricia, who turned out to be a complete con artist and liar! I was informed the max it would cost would be $1032. They sent us two tiny trucks in the end, the size of an ice cream truck and said sorry, we can't fit anymore into the first truck so we have to fill the second! If they would have sent a normal sized truck, it wouldn't have been an issue. In the end, they ripped us off for $1500! This company is a complete joke who knows how to take advantage of the elderly and people in desperation at all costs! When I called to query, this Patricia said "Good Luck!" in a very smarmy, "I conned you tone!" Enjoy the money you STOLE from our family! AVOID AT ANY AND ALL COSTS!! read more

Don't use the Manhattan office of these guys. The guy who showed up to my office to give me a quote was extremely inappropriate and unprofessional. I had to tell him to leave my building within 5 mins because he was sexist (his first question to me was "Is there a man who works here?") and then when I expressed displeasure at that comment he started raising his voice at me, telling me I had a bad attitude and you can't talk to people like that. But you can be sexist? And yell at a potential client because you lost your temper? Unacceptable. Making a scene in my office and at the same time losing a $2000 job for your company.
