So I had used these guys 2 other times before this and had no issues. But yesterday 8/27/2025, was something else, what a shit-show!! I've been cleaning out my garage for the better part of 3 years. Please understand that this garage was PACKED from back to front. 2 yard sales, private sales, throwing things out, and finally, a clean out company. There was so much stuff in my garage. It was going to take two trucks to get it all out. The first trip was two weeks ago and they did a wonderful job not gonna lie. So I called them back to finish the rest of the job and all I got was a runaround. They were aware that they were going to be removing several heavy pieces of machinery. So the owner in his infinite wisdom sent two guys. And trust me, they were in no condition to lift heavy pieces of machinery. Now I did tell them in advance, and the guys who did the initial work informed their office of what needed to be removed. Pictures were sent communication had been made, and I thought we had an understanding of what needed to be done. Well, the owner on the day of sent to gentlemen to remove about five pieces of machinery. I knew immediately I was going to have to reschedule, but what followed my decision was unbelievable and unprofessional. Not only was this guy arguing with me over his workers cell phone. They had me on speakerphone, but when he thought I was no longer around, he actually said to his worker "try to take him for another $200". I immediately responded with "dude I'm standing right here". And of course, right after that, there was an awkward silence. He tried to make several excuses, actually said that they sent out the wrong truck. Trust me, they didn't send out the wrong truck. Then he said he wasn't gonna spend money paying more guys to come out and do this job that two were fine. Please keep in mind that when they hold out all the garbage the light stuff just two weeks ago they sent out four guys, but for this job the heavy stuff he sent out two guys. So basically this guy screwed up from the beginning and tried to blame everyone else except for his own cheapness.. it's sad to say, but I will never use them again, and I will never recommend them to anyone. Remember my warning, my friends, don't use this company. Even his workers were apologizing profusely for his attitude and his unprofessionalism. Couldn't have been a worse experience. read more

I was moving, and I needed some furniture removed. And they did show up, an hour late, and take everything, and the guys were cordial, but it wound up costing me literally twice the initial quote. First of all, they go by the "truckload." But they don't have a truck. It's a minivan without a top. I asked about disassembly ahead of time. They said $50 and up. They told me before they started that if it takes more than two hours it will cost me an extra $200. (No mention of this before hand when I was comparing quotes.) At that point it was too late to hire someone else. They had to break up my elliptical. Which would not have been necessary if they had an actual truck. The guy spent 20 minutes on the phone finding out how much dissambling it would cost. $179. Then it took them another 20 minutes trying to do it with a drill. Ultimately they cut it. Which took 5 minutes. So I wound up paying for an extra hour for about 20 minutes all of which they spent figuring out how to dissemble the elliptical. Then the guy told me to meet him at his truck to pay the bill instead of charging me right away. I stood there for 15 minutes while they loaded their minivan. EXCELLENT Customer Service & Workmanship! I called 5 different companies; contacts from personal referrals and also randomly selected companies and they gave me the lowest quote by a significant margin. I called the office and spoke with Felicia who allowed me to text her the photos of the garbage that I need to be collected. Based on the photos I texted, she provided me a quote. When she gave me the initial quote, it was already hundreds less than any other company that I'd contacted. One even quoted me double the price she did. Felicia explained the WHY behind her pricing and I reasoned that if I paid my neighbor to bag up all the trash then I could save a few dollars and I DID. By bagging up the debris, I was able to save a couple hundred off the originally quoted price and afford other upgrades in our renovation project. She said she could send me a truck out the same day between 12-4pm. Because I don't know about you, but I haven't quantified what a ton was since I was in grade school nor have I ever eyeballed what a ton looks like. Managing my expectations was helpful. Roy said that he believed we may have more than 2 tons, but that the office would let us know for sure with a proven receipt after dumping. I called Felicia for the 4th time that day to confirm and she explained in detail and assuaged my concerns. I determined that they were still cheaper and so they began. After the introductions and re-clarifications, they took stock of the space and expressed their process. Mid-way through they realized they might need some backup and another truck pulled up and two extra men arrived to help with the bathtub and the last of it. They arrived at 2pm and were done clearing two huge rooms full of construction trash by 4:04pm. They even swept the space. I was told that I would be charged for no more than 3/4 of a truck and they ended up charging for a whole truck - I was also told that the truck was around the corner and would visit within an hour. In actuality, the truck hadn't even left Queens and they arrived in 2.5 hours Given how bad these types of businesses usually are (especially in NY), I expected them to charge more than they estimated and be late. I came back home after a long day and half the mountain of interior renovation debris was still there. Their estimator came out and said 2 trucks and two trucks were filled to the max (said their guys and my own property manager) but still left half the debris. Not a very good estimate and causes financial strife. Just straight up inaccurate. While helpful, their removal guys were 30 minutes late and complained/overstated quite a bit. Not worth $1400+ for doing only half the job. Find a cheaper scrappier company that gets places on time and gets things done. read more

I spoke with a woman, Patricia, who turned out to be a complete con artist and liar! I was informed the max it would cost would be $1032. They sent us two tiny trucks in the end, the size of an ice cream truck and said sorry, we can't fit anymore into the first truck so we have to fill the second! If they would have sent a normal sized truck, it wouldn't have been an issue. In the end, they ripped us off for $1500! The first time I used these guys they were good. Arrived on time and were done quickly. Not so much this time. Even though I scheduled a final pick up weeks ago, pick up time comes and goes by and I have to call them. I'm told one of their guys cut his arm yesterday and they are down a truck and the one truck they do have is running late. The considerate thing to do would be to call the customer and let them know. So now I have to call the car rental place and tell them I won't be picking the car up at the appointed time which sucks because now my moving is delayed. Don't use the Manhattan office of these guys. The guy who showed up to my office to give me a quote was extremely inappropriate and unprofessional. I had to tell him to leave my building within 5 mins because he was sexist (his first question to me was "Is there a man who works here?") and then when I expressed displeasure at that comment he started raising his voice at me, telling me I had a bad attitude and you can't talk to people like that.
