FROM 10/17 I must say that the cleaning by Meire and her colleagues was good, but I am a bit perturbed by the Groupon 'deal' that she's offered. It offers $160 for $80 of cleaning, but the fine print says that one can only use this on one cleaning. So when they came to clean our little 2 br apartment, they did a good job but only came once for the groupon. We ended up paying them more than we would have paid any other cleaner without a Groupon. I'm not saying that I would expect to pay less for one's cleaning services, but I think in terms of hours they spent and quality of the clean, they were a bit on the pricy side. That being said, she was quite reliable and came on time... EDIT ON 10/21/2013 This was Meire's private message back to me - which I think is a little rude and should serve as a warning to few customers. "If the deal doesn't work for you, why did you buy it? I was supposed to come with 2 people for up to 2 hours and I came with 3 people for 1.5 hour, so you got more than you were supposed to. I have your emails that say your apto was quite clean and that wasn't what I saw. Next time don't buy the offer if you think it doesn't work for you, don't try to ruin people who work very hard to do the best for the clients. I didn't put any weapon on your head to buy my deal. Most of my clients are satisfied, that's what means to me." read more

I have had Meire come on a monthly basis now for over 2 years. She and her crew have been nothing but reliable. They do a fantastic job, my house always is spotless after they leave. I have been completely happy with them. Yes, a little pricy, but to me it's worth the splurge once a month. They clean EVERYTHING, down to my microwave and oven, if it needs it. I don't know what they use on my shower doors, but I can't ever get them that sparkling clean. I HIGHLY recommend them. I even have a huge dog - a loud barker -and he has never seemed to bother them. Caution: my 5-star rating is for the quality of the cleaning only, not the booking or anything else. I read the Yelp reviews and understood that I shouldn't expect them to be perfectly on-time, so I just cleared my entire Saturday and booked it for that day. WOW! My apartment is SPOTLESS. The bathtubs alone were worth the $100 I paid for the Amazon deal plus tip. They really did a thorough job. I would hire them again in a second. With that said, do be aware that the booking process is not perfect. I called and asked for a Saturday anytime, and Meire said that she would call me back on Tuesday with the time. I hadn't heard from her by Thursday, so I called and she said 3 or 4pm. On Friday night around 9, she called to ask if we could do 8am instead. I woke up at 7:30am on a Saturday morning to wait, and they didn't come until 9. Personally the quality was so good that I was not bothered by this at all, but I feel I should mention it to people who are on tight schedules. Lastly, note that she will ask you to list your priorities (e.g., dusting, bathrooms, kitchen floor, etc) because of the limited timeframe. We had a miscommunication in which I thought that I was listing everything in order with the understanding that she would get as far as she could, so I basicaly listed everything in my apartment. Whereas, she thought these were all considered equal high priorities, so in the end, she didn't get to the 3rd thing on my list. But when I explained what I expected they stayed longer and finished it. I really appreciated that. read more

It was SO DIFFICULT to schedule a time that would work and when we finally decided on the date, she got it wrong. I got a call from her associates on the wrong day when no one was home and had to go through the entire scheduling process again which was very inconvenient. She also says "I'll be there after 1PM" WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? They came in and didn't do a great job. Never again. read more

I bought Meire's deal on AmazonLocal for my daughter and was very excited to have someone to clean her little one-bedroom apartment so she could study for some important exams without needing to worry about cleaning. When she called at the end of November (as directed on the voucher), there was no answer; my daughter left a detailed voice mail and never heard back. A week later when she called, Meire's voice mail was full, and it was still full the next day. She decided that, despite what the voucher said, she would contact Meire through her website before requesting a refund from AmazonLocal. Meire did get back to her from the email (about two days later). However, it was only to tell her that she had no appointments left in December. While my daughter was disappointed, she understood that the holidays are a particularly busy time, so she asked to schedule for January. Meire refused. If she wanted to schedule Meire for January she had to wait until after Christmas to do so. My daughter found this very rude and just poor business practice, but did as Meire instructed. So the day after Christmas, she emailed Meire again to schedule for January. My daughter gave her four dates that worked for her. It took Meire four days and another email prompt to reply. She only acknowledged one of the dates my daughter gave her, and despite the fact that my daughter clearly said that day that she could only have her clean in the morning, Meire said she could only do late morning or the afternoon. That's fine, but when my daughter inquired about the next week instead (when her whole day was open), Meire said no. By now, she was looking to schedule the end of January -- a full two months after she started the process. She told Meire that, as it seemed she was unable to accommodate her and was unwilling to work with her, it would seem that it would benefit us both for me to get a refund from AmazonLocal. Her latest reply was rather rude, which seems to be standard for her (among other things, she told my daughter that she gave her "many days" to choose from; I don't consider two days "many" but maybe that's just me). I found all her communications from the very beginning to be lacking in both reasonable response time and general politeness. AmazonLocal was very pleasant to deal with, I have to say-- I was worried that I would have a hard time getting my refund as Meire has already marked my voucher as "redeemed", despite the fact that she wouldn't even schedule my daughter, much less actually clean her apartment. AmazonLocal gave me a full refund in under 10 minutes, which I can now use to hire someone else for a cleaning. I have to say that I'm extremely disappointed, because the Yelp reviews where people actually got their house cleaned by Meire are very good. I was looking forward to having a reliable cleaner who my daughter could schedule every few months. However, I bought the voucher to make her life easier at a difficult time, and dealing with Meire only brought stress and annoyance. read more

I've tried other house cleaners but never felt they were worth the time or price. Meire works with her team and does an amazing job. A little overwhelming at first. They waist no time. Miere was so hard so schedule and she doesn't communicate like a respectful professional. She was a touch impolite when it came to rescheduling; she cancelled the day of TWICE. When she tells you that she will "arrive after 1" that can mean as late as 3:30. She refused to dust my blinds. Her ad says nothing about refusing to clean blinds. My apartment was cleaned well but I will never use this service again. She came with two other ladies. I don't understand why someone couldn't clean the blinds. That was important to me. I highly recommend using another service. read more

I cannot yet comment on the cleaning part but it is now after 5pm and they were supposed to be at my place between 10-11am. I have been following up all day but only got very limited info and was informed at 4pm that they were at my place. While I went to my apartment I got another call to say that they cannot find parking. Then I was told they would be there by 5pm and I have been waiting since. I have just now (5:30pm) been informed that they are not coming any more because they allegedly could not find parking. To me this is completely unacceptable especially when there are garages close by. Will definitely not use them again! I could have cleaned myself during the time I waited. read more

I too bought Meire's deal on Amazon Local. The first time we called to schedule an appointment, we left a voicemail but didn't hear back. The second time we called, she (rudely) told us that we need to use her website to schedule an appointment even though the voucher says to call the phone number. We checked her website but there wasn't a way to schedule an appointment directly, but there was a "contact us" option. So we again left all of our information as directed, but again never heard back from her. We called again and this time were told to use her email address to schedule the appointment. We send her an email... but guess what? We didn't hear back from her. So we called one last time and she told us that we lived too far away and she wouldn't honor the voucher and that we should contact Amazon and get a refund. Me thinks Meire got in way over her head with these Amazon Local and Groupon deals and is WAY over extended. All of that is fine, but there was no need to be rude, disrespectful, and utterly unprofessional each time we spoke to her. She couldn't have made us feel as though we were any more of a nuisance than what she did. So we wasted about six weeks with the 'round and 'round communication (or lack thereof) but the good news is that Amazon did at least refund our money. Pretty disappointing experience overall though. I purchased a Groupon for services. I attempted to call at least 10 times, each receiving the automated message that the VM was full (meaning no ability to leave a message to gain a response) When I finally was able to connect, I was asked to send an Email, when I asked to repeat the Email address, she seemed annoyed, so I suggested just using the 'contact us' feature from the web page, she agreed and hung up. I sent a detailed Email with my groupon #, what I was looking to have done, and that I was flexible for scheduling. No response.....10 days passed. I sent another message, via the same method (after attempting to call and getting the automated full mailbox response again) This time I got a response, though days later, to the Email I provided, saying they did not do windows, it would cost $10 extra per window, but if thats what I wanted she could do that for me (no mention of the other items I had listed Id like cleaned) other than to tell me that they dont do blinds, and if they're dirty I should put them in my bathtub. I responded shortly after the message was sent, to say that was fine, clarify what I wanted from window cleaning (just the interior side) and to ask that we schedule a time. 3 days passed, no response. This is when I finally reached out to Groupon to get a refund. Groupon obliged. The irony, is that I got a response at 1:30am (long after I put in my refund request to groupon) that she had be on the schedule for 6/26. There was no options of dates, or a time, or window of time given. I found this to not be professional, or respectful of my time/schedule. This solidified that cancelling the groupon was the best choice. I post, because people should know how difficult scheduling might be. read more

I bought Meire's "deal" on Amazon Local, and called for an appointment . She got back to me within few days of my call, and scheduled my appointment for the following week. She and her partner cleaned my apartment in an hour and a half. Kitchen - spotless. Bathroom - shines. Floors - washed and vacuumed. Nice job! read more

Having read the previous reviews, I was a bit wary, but we had a terrific experience. I definitely advise contacting Meire via email - just go on the website and use the contact function. She replied within in a day, we exchanged a few dates, and we booked her for a two hour window. She have us an hour window in which she and her team would arrive, and they came about halfway through. She had trouble parking, but called me up and sent her team straight up. It's honestly the best cleaning that we have ever had in our apartment - there are things that they cleaned that I didn't even know existed. read more

- Unprofessional and unreliable. - Took several tries to schedule. - Gives a 2-hour window, then texts or calls to confirm you're home. If you don't reply instantly she moves on to her next client and tells you to reschedule - In her 2nd missed session with us, I replied to her text within 4 minutes, and she stated she was already moving on to her next client. When I argued that I'd replied right away, she said she couldn't keep her texts and calls straight so didn't know it was me. - When I explained I had waited home all morning for her for a 2nd time, she didn't care - When I complained that this was not respectful to my time, she hung up on me - At the end of all this (2+ months of scheduling and rescheduling), we have yet to get any value for the service we purchased - Meire clearly is overwhelmed by volume. She complains a lot and seems to manage her volume by making it hard for clients to schedule with her and blaming clients for why she can't fulfill the service - Her cleaning services might be good - I don't know. But she has no business skills, does not take accountability, and has little respect for others' time read more
