I left another a local, higher priced dry cleaner 5 or 6 years ago because I tired of broken buttons on my shirts. I tried Cleaner4Less in Leesburg and have always been satisfied. The broken buttons are always replaced and the clothes have always been returned as expected. Justine, the owner, knows my name, even if I only drop-in every 4 weeks or less. They added tailor services a few years ago which is VERY convenient. Cleaner4Less in Leesburg is both fast & reasonably priced. Even when I drop off tailoring it comes back most times the next day! The tailor I was using previously in Lansdowne would take 2 weeks or more for simple alterations. I like the reliability and prompt service of this small business. The front area could stand to be tidied up, and I've never had an issue for which I needed to be reimbursed, or have ownership intervene, but that speaks more to the problem-free experience I've had over the past 5 years. They continue to be my cleaner of choice. read more

Dealing with the customer service here has been an actual nightmare. About a year ago they had lost dress shirts of my dad. When I came in to pick them up they found in the system that the ticket for them had not been picked up but they couldn't find the clothes in the location the system said they were in or anywhere on the racks for that matter. I got the unpicked up ticket printed out and given to me and told them we would come back. When we did come back, the clothes were "miraculously picked up". They assumed no responsibility for the stunt they pulled. And now just two months ago they lost my very expensive romper. The owner was speaking to me as if I was dumb telling me "are you sure you don't have it somewhere in the closet, are you sure you didn't pick it up" I had brought the belt that goes with it because when I dropped it off the man told me I'd have to pay extra for it. So I showed her that I had the belt that was the same pattern and no romper. Again because they have a "policy" hanging up on their wall they are not responsible. Countless times I've gone to pick up clothes and watched them give people the wrong clothes and countless times I've gone to pick up my clothes and they give me someone else's. This seems to be a habit but they don't see that at all. The owner didn't even try to offer anything in return. I asked if she could watch the cameras the day I picked up clothes that it was a part of to prove I never took it home and she said the cameras only save 2 weeks of footage. Seems useless to me considering their policy stated they are not responsible for clothes after 90 days. Not only are they reasonable, but the tailor takes her time to look over clothes and make repairs where needed. I've had sweaters come back with all new buttons, and minor tears and holes repaired without me having to ask or them adding an extra charge. They are so friendly and absolutely wonderful. One suit had a button ripped off the back pocket of the pants, and the top button of the jacket ripped off. This cleaner is not near my house and I used them due to special circumstances. Since I moved to Leesburg, I used this cleaner several times, and it is the worse cleaner I have ever experienced in living in the Northern VA area for over 30 years. I stopped using their dry cleaning because they couldn't get normal spots out which were pre-spotted. I thought it would be safe to use them for shirts. I was wrong. I read about Cleaner4Less opening up in one of the local Leesburg papers, and decided to give them a shot. Previously, I had continued to drive down to the Dryclean Depot in Sterling since moving to Leesburg from Ashburn, as I felt the Leesburg area dry cleaner's prices were a little excessive. So, I had been hoping for a low cost option opening up close to home for a while now. Cleaner4Less has been $1.99 a piece for everything I've brought in, and after a few months of using them exclusively, I have no damaged clothes to speak of and my clothes are properly pressed and ready to go when I pick them up. For me, that is all I ask for out of a dry cleaner. They are also a "in by 9, out by 5" type of shop too, which is nice for a quick turnaround. As an added bonus for the Dry Clean Depot customers out there, Cleaner4Less takes credit cards. For someone like me who rarely keeps much cash on them, I appreciate not having to go to the ATM just to drop off my dry cleaning. They have my business going forward. read more

I rarely ever rate places but I had to rate this one. I brought 5 pieces to get dry cleaned. Two of them were silk blouses. 1 of them came back with odd wrinkles and both of them had fabric snags. One of the tops is fairly new (bought less than 2 months ago) and the other one I bought like 3 days before bringing it here. Both blouses have so many snags, which weren't there before. So I brought in a brand new bright peach dress to be pressed ONLY due to wrinkles, never been washed or worn by me, and when I got it back it was about 5 shades different in color, completely dull and more of a pale pink/nude. I've used this location for 99% of my dry cleaning needs (the only time I didn't use them is when they were closed and I needed something cleaned) for the last 7 years and I've never been disappointed. We have been using Cleaner 4 Less since they opened in our neighborhood. We have always been totally satisfied with the service and quality of their work. I have been using the time confined to the house during social distancing to do a through cleaning of my house including having several smaller area rugs and 2 larger (5x8' wool braided rug and 5x8' rag rug) cleaned. Cleaner 4 Less did an awesome job on everything and in a very reasonable time frame and the price was unbelievably low. I am so pleased with the quality of the work that I am trying to fine all the other items in my house that need dry cleaning to take to them. I used this drycleaner several times and despite repeatedly asking why wrinkles and creases in the middle of the shirts kept happening, nothing changed. The person at the desk was also very rude about it when I asked her and she denied that anything was wrong with the job. After reading the reviews I must second a few opinions I've read. First things first the lady is not very personable at all. I was shock that when I entered she knew who I was and starting looking for my stuff. But she wouldn't say hello when I tried to spark friendly conversation. She clearly hates her job. Second they do great for regular items like cotton material and maybe even polyester. If you have something that requires special treatment like silk or leather I wouldn't recommend trying to save the money by going there. They have lost an attachment to my uniform and when I inquired about it she blew me off and didn't even want to go check the ironing area where it would've been reviewed. Very unprofessional. I've never been more offended by the lack of customer service in all my life! I went this afternoon to drop off drycleaning and "inquired" into getting a dress altered. The young man was helping me and out of nowhere comes, what I believe is the owner/manager - not sure, didn't get his name. I was simply asking the young man how much it would cost and if I could pay once it was altered. The "manager" came up in a defensive manner and asked what my problem was!? Not sure why the question since there wasn't a problem, so I proceeded to tell him that I was asking about having a dress altered, how much it would cost and if I could pay at pick-up. He defensively asked "Why would you not want to pay now?" I answered, "Because I want to make sure it's done correctly." BTW: Should not have to answer a question like that. So he informed me that it was not their policy. I said that was fine and asked how much it would cost. He NEVER did answer my question and instead told me to go to Ken's Tailoring near Tuscarora since they are professional seamstresses. Enough said! He used the key word........."PROFESSIONAL". Instead of being angered by his lack of professionalism, and disrespect (I had my young son with me who is still asking, "why was that man mad at you?"), I am thanking you! Horrible customer service. Brought in a pair of jeans to get tailored and specifically asked for 2 inches off of the waistline (i have a small waist and generous hips). On our first encounter, the female manager was very friendly and suggested 1.5 inches off instead. I said sure, why not, I'll trust her advice. Wrong. I tried on the jeans after they were altered and it was clear that less than 1.5 inches had been taken off of the waistline. Even if it was 1.5 inches, the waistline was extremely huge - you could see my underwear! So I ended up calling Cleaner 4 Less and explaining the issue. The manager was very curt and borderline rude with me. She didn't seem phased at all by the fact that, contrary to her advice, the pants still didn't fit. But she said that I was free to bring them back in for further alteration. Today, I brought in my jeans to Cleaner 4 Less. The female manager was extremely unwelcoming, did not greet me and was giving me a dirty look the entire time. For what? She was the one who wronged, not me. I explained they still didn't fit, and she said, "Well, try them on." with nothing more. I go to try on the jeans, show them to the manager, and she angrily explains that "It's an aesthetic thing, you have to get that 4 inches need to be taken off in order for them to fit the way you want." I said "Excuse me? Why didn't you tell me that before I got them tailored?" She ignores my question and goes on to say that about 4 inches total needs to be cut off for them to "fit the way I want them to" (uh, yeah, I don't want my panties showing when I wear these, thanks). I said, that's fine, but I wish you would have told me that initially instead of making me come here twice for essentially nothing. She says: "You said you wanted 1.5 inches taken off." I said NO, YOU said to have 1.5 inches taken off. I asked for 2." She stops talking and then tone changes completely. Starts to act nice, considering I'm not stupid and can see she's obviously trying to put the blame on me and refuses to admit her mistake. I was so upset that I left the store. She was extremely disrespectful. Horrible experience, sad to say I won't be returning. It's a shame considering this is my father's favorite dry clean place. Why be in this business if you are going to do it so badly? The first time I was stunned at how wrinkled the clothing was when I got it back. More wrinkles than when it went in. But I thought I should give them a chance to make it right. Obviously they don't care. When she handed me the jacket with a glaringly obvious crease and then just walked away I was even more stunned than the first time. I could forgive a mistake. I recently had a white down-coat dry-cleaned and was EXTREMELY surprised that my coat was clean like new. I set my expectations low thinking I would see at least remnants of lightly soil edges (pockets, sleeves, hem & collars) and elbows. As these are the tough, highly exposed areas. There is even an internal knit sleeve just inside the white nylon outer sleeve. That was really a problem area but no remnants of dirt! My plan was to have the coat "pre"cleaned for five bucks (zip-off hood counts as another garment @$2.29) with backup plan to take it to another cleaners for final cleaning. I included a written note, clamped to the internal collar (my tape would not adhere to the spots), regarding the troubled areas. Also, I opted out of the Same-Day "In by 9, out by 5" service and requested no-rush to allow proper time to tend to trouble areas. I fully agree with other patrons that the customer service is impeccable! And, yes, they do remember your name! read more

I wish I had read the reviews before I dropped my dresses off in this place. I had 2 dresses dropped off there, when I went to pick them up, one of them was very wrinkled and the other one (and this is my favorite dress, delicate, and I only wore them like once a year), I got some stains on the sleeve and told them if they can remove it, they put stickers on to marked where the stain was, when I went to pick them up, the stickers wasn't peel off completely and some threat on the sleeve where pulled. Also the sleeve has flower embroidery, on both sleeve the embroidery got pulled. I told them about those problem and they took the dress back and told me to come back the next day and speak to the owner. I went back the next day, speak to the owner that reply to me with very rude tone when I explained what happened to my dress, she said they didnt do anything wrong with my dress and I can come back later to get my dress because it hasn't done. Later on the day, I went back and I look at my dress, they cut the pulled thread off and she just look at me and said there was nothing wrong with my dress. I had read the reviews here before I went back, and found out they wont do anything for the damage, so I just took my dress and leave and decided will never go back there. I went to them for months, shirts, suits, you name it. Then I suddenly had one piece that had holes in the back. I believed what I was told that it must have happened somewhere else not during the cleaning. Then I got back a very expensive sweater that was shrunk from XXL to L. Worst cleaner!!! STOP do not come here, it is cheap but you should take your clothes some place else and pay a bit more. We've been coming here for a while now and today we had the worst experience ever at a dry cleaners. We were called liars by owner while he refused to listen, much less accept any fault. He claimed that they didn't ruin my shirt, so in less than 12 hrs I managed to somehow shrink my own shirt and then decided to call them so that we could spend about an 1hr 1/2 talking to 2 classless and careless people. We dropped off clothes here 3 days ago and picked them up yesterday evening, as I was sorting them out today and found out that they shrunk my shirt. So, my husband called today and asked to speak to a manager "Justine", she said for us to come by (keep in mind we don't live close), so that she could see the shirt and figure out what went wrong. My husband went in and she said to him that she'd try to fix it, not sure how because the shirt was shrunk a lot. At, no time did she say to us "you are liars or this isn't our issue". She asked him how long was the shirt before and we said about 6 inches longer, she looked at him as if he was crazy, so he came and got me. I went in and she just had shirt just hanging on a rack while she was on the phone with whom we know now is her rude husband (owner). So, she asked me again how long did I want shirt to be? She asked me to go to the back, to try it on so she can figure out how much they needed to steam shirt in order to make it long again. While I had shirt on, I told her that I wasn't happy about this and that it was one of my favorite shirts. She rudely said "I'm trying to see how long it is, so that I can try to steam it and make it long for you". She then had us walk up to the front with husband while she gave us a ticket and said for us to come back later to pick it up. Well!!!!! On our way out this evening, we decided to call and check on status. We called at around 6pm and phone just rang, so I gave up. We then get a call back from Cleaners and my husband answered phone, it was the owner. He told my husband off and called us liars, he said that he didn't care about the situation, he wasn't going to do anything at all about it and that it was our problem. So, if you want your clothes to get ruined, want buttons missing/broken and be accused for something they are solely responsible for but won't take accountability, continue to bring clothes here. I had not read any reviews until now. They have no class, they don't care for their customers at all. They lost our business and we will tell everyone about them. We will also contact the better business bureau and more. We are going to pick up the shirt tomorrow and hope that it didn't magically disappear or that owner isn't seating behind counter waiting to confront us about something they did wrong. read more
