Outstanding Service from a True Local Family Business! I…read morecouldn't be happier with the service I received from A+ Carpet Cleaning. As a small, family-owned business local to the Portland area, they truly go above and beyond for their customers. From the very first phone call, Chantal was professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful. She responded to my follow-up email promptly and with the same level of care. When I explained my situation, Mike (the owner) personally squeezed me into his already busy schedule for the very next day -- even driving out of his way to my home in Sandy. The travel fee was more than worth it for the quality of service I received. I had a particularly tough biohazard pet stain (not urine, but still a real challenge). I had already tried cleaning it three times myself with a home carpet shampoo vacuum with zero success. Mike assessed the situation right away, recommended the perfect combination of services and products for my specific issue, and completely resolved it. The results were incredible -- the stain and odor are completely gone. A+ Carpet Cleaning delivered excellent, professional work from start to finish. If you're in the Portland area and need carpet cleaning you can trust, look no further. I highly recommend them and will definitely be calling them again!

It didn't take very long either!! Ash was excellent start to finish!! Very detailed & offered a lot of information. Give 'em a raise!! Good attitude, friendly and worked really hard. No easy thing hauling all that stuff up three flights of stairs!! I will definitely be a returning customer!!

So I contacted them for a slightly bigger job than they did last year (more rooms). Mike responded, giving me a date and time, I explained what I needed done and gave me a quote which I accepted. The agreed upon day/time came and went, and he was a no-show and with no contact. I called and got his voice mail, and no returned call. That really sucks. I hope he's ok, but I'm obviously extremely frustrated after doing all the work to move everything around from 4 rooms, and set up my cats in a place where they are safe and out of the way. This has obviously been a really bad experience, very unlike last year. Time to find a new carpet cleaning company.

Paid an extraordinarily high price to have the carpets in my home professionally cleaned. When the job was finished, there were still numerous visible spots throughout the house. Contacted the owner and gave him the opportunity to come back and address the areas that had been missed. During our conversation, he acknowledged my concerns and told me he would issue me a substantial refund. The refund was never received. What concerns me even more is what happened afterward. I made repeated attempts to contact him to resolve the matter privately. My texts went unanswered, my calls were not returned, and I now appear to have been blocked. Would have much preferred to resolve this directly rather than post a negative review, but have been given no reasonable way to communicate with him. Was also very uncomfortable with how the wastewater from the carpet cleaning was handled. I observed dirty cleaning liquid being emptied onto my driveway and into drains in my home. Ultimately, I hired another professional carpet cleaner to redo the work. The second company charged approximately one-tenth of what I had paid and did an excellent job, including successfully cleaning many of the spots that remained after the original service. The difference in both price and results was remarkable. I gave Bill an opportunity to address my concerns before writing this review. Am still willing to communicate directly with the owner and would welcome the opportunity for him to follow through on what he told me he would do. Based on my experience to date, I cannot recommend this company.
