I needed a new floor for my rental property, but I didn't want a complete tear-out of my existing ceramic tile floor. Don Bailey Flooring has been around forever and is one of the most respected companies in the industry, including highly respected by their competitors (my former employer was a competitor). I decided to give them a try. Nick M, one of the flooring specialists, was able to ask the right questions and guide me to the exact product, color, and price point I needed: luxury floating vinyl planks with a 15-year warranty. Nick is a consummate professional: easy going, customer-focused, and incredibly knowledgeable not only as a salesman but about the entire process. He was hands-on, easily reachable by phone or email, and kept in touch during the install, even coming over after the job was done for a final walk through. I'm attaching a couple of pictures. You'll see the floor is beautiful! They also sell & install baseboards and quarter rounds if you need, but I chose to do those myself, so you'll see those incomplete in the photos. Focus on the floor-- it's gorgeous!

Well guess what - it didn't even come close because using a water based polyurethane will only give you a natural color not the darker finish I had. They had no idea of this and were trying to put a stain on my floor to match the rest of the floor. Now as a Bona Certified Craftsman that has been in business for 12 years you would expect him to be educated in what he does but they were clueless. He told us the job would take 3 days but they were done in 7 hours because water based can be reapplied in 2 hours versus oil based that has to dry overnight. He stole our $1,000. deposit justifying it that he sanded the floor. He claims he wasted product but how is that our fault if he doesn't know what he is doing!

He came when he said he would and advised a reasonable timeline that he kept. I installed a small 10x10 paver patio and Steve provided me with different options and suggestions. The team who came worked quickly and efficiently and I am very pleased with the finished product. It was a little more expensive than I was anticipating, but perhaps I am simply out of the loop on the cost of things like this. I didn't bother shopping around prices, though. All Dade Pavers had so many positive reviews versus other places I researched, and I wanted to feel confident that the finished work would be quality - and it is. Often times my smaller jobs seem to be insufficient to businesses- I guess they want the big jobs and big bucks only- but Steve made me feel like a priority. Thank you to Steve and his team!

He was also very punctual and provided clear timeline/expectation of the work. From the beginning, we knew we picked the right company. During the process, I asked Stephen several questions regarding overall design, logistics, and timing. All of which he would answer within minutes at any hour of the day. He sent over new paver/concrete dimension the same day we met him, adjusted design within a few days and had pavers ordered right away. The pavers were delivered from Gem Pavers in 4 weeks and his team was hard at work within a few days of delivery. He is present throughout the process and made sure work was done correctly. His team was also very nice, professional, and worked really hard to deliver my driveway. Everything worked like clockwork and came out so beautiful. When there was an issue with my existing concrete near my door frame, Stephen had his team out within an hour to fix it.
