Did not reach my expectations. After reading all the good reviews on yelp and google I decided to give them a try. Very mediocre, IMO (this is the European Wax Center of facials iykyk). It was my first facial here so I received 50% off using the code VIRGIN then added two more services- the virgin bundle and the nano restore lips. Not worth it I first paid $35 before my appointment. +$95 with the add ons. Bringing me to a total of $130. Not worth it so disappointed, money poorly spent. Pro: the extractions did NOT mess up my skin the following day. Trust me. Do not get the nano restore lip, the money I spent on this hurt my soul. You'll get a better result exfoliating or brushing your lips, using a lip mask and using the lanaige lip mask, aquaphor, or Vaseline. Smh Customer service was good. read more

Like many others, I found this place on tik tok! This was my first facial ever and I was so excited! I used a first time coupon code, so my facial was 50% off ($25) I arrived early, filled out some paper work and waited my turn. The spot is super small, just the receptionist and esthetician. When it was my turn, Regis came to greet me and we got right to it. He was super nice and easy to talk to and listened to my concerns. I found this place through a random ad on Facebook and had to try! I was in desperate need of a facial and saw so many great reviews with Regis, I ended up booking with him. He is such a positive ray of light and makes the entire experience that much better. He looked at my face and suggested a couple problem areas, and what I should do to fix it. I also disclosed that I was hungover and he said he has the perfect fix. He suggested a pumpkin peel and an exfoliant which seemed to do wonders (not only for my hangover but skin as well!) My first fascial is was good and it could of been great but the person kept talking about the products and I really just wanted to relax. Then at the end she tried to sell me the products. I felt like it was 30 minutes sales pitch instead of a nice fascial. I have clear skin no issues... just going for fun with my sister. They tell everyone you need to upgrade to a extraction so at this point it should just be included in the fascial and charge the appropriate price upfront. Also I bought gift card so I finally used them and paid with the gift cards then she said you have to tip but not with the gift cards you already paid for. Why are tips now suggested 20 to 30 to 40%. I really wish salon would just charge the amount instead of trying to suggest 40 % on a tip. I always tips but why does it feel like they are forcing you. Tik tok made me buy it! I was worried that this place would be too novel for me. I usually go to high end skin spas because of my problematic skin. Regis was super friendly, and i did purchase add-ons. All spas offer add-ons and its a completely normal concept, the more you spend the better result. (I don't know why ppl are mad about that in other reviews) Regis' extraction were the best I've ever had. I did tell him i have a high pain tolerance so he did not hold back. My pores have never been cleaner, and I'm still glowing a day later. What i didn't like about the facial was that it was a communal environment so that's why I'm giving 4 stars. I also didn't care for the vegan products bc having problematic skin, chemicals do work better for me. If had normal skin i'd appreciate the clean skin products. I never review establishments but I have to warn you. My boyfriend got a facial here a month ago and my appointment was cancelled so they were kind enough to offer me a complimentary facial with free add on. I made an appointment to come in. While everyone is super friendly, respectful and nice, the service is very unprofessional. The tech was not educated on skincare, did not go over my chart with me, did not ask any questions about my skin (she just looked at it under a light and told me i had beautiful skin) and just tried to sell the products they make. I don't have much if any acne or pimples at all and they insisted on extractions. The tech popped and scraped my face and I had barely anything that needed extracting. The pumpkin peel is not worth it either. It is highly scented and burns your skin (my tech did ask if at any point it got too tingly and I told her I was fine). 2 days later I stated breaking out (I never get pimples or acne). Lastly, I was very confused why they sprayed my face with hydrogen peroxide. I asked the tech what it was for and she said "to disinfect your pores and tighten your face." I still have her a tip out of the kindness of my heart and because I wanted to get out of there fast. This place is not for you if you want a nice relaxing facial. They put cleanser on, wipe it off, put some scented stuff on, wipe it off, use an extraction tool incorrectly and rub oil all over. Super bummed! I came for a free facial through a promotion, and even though it's not a true facial experience with all the bells and whistles in a relaxing environment, I loved the idea of this being my 30 minutes of weekly self care. I decided to signup for the unlimited membership and even purchased their products. The next day after my first facial, I broke out on my forehead. Everyday since then, I have woken up with a new zit. When I went for my second session, I paid extra for spot treatment, only to break out again for the next several days. After the third facial, I decided to cancel, but was told I can only do so via email to the manager. I have been in tears every morning waking up to the mess my face has become. I sent an email to cancel my unlimited membership, only to receive any extremely long response about purging, not even addressing my membership or refund request for the products I purchased and refuse to touch. I have never purged like this for three weeks straight. I have sent three emails since the first and haven't received a response. There's no phone number to call and when I went back to the storefront they told me to email. They wouldn't give me a refund on products I can no longer use and I'm unable to cancel my membership. I'm extremely frustrated! I just want to cancel and never look back. read more

I really wanted to love this place: it's right down the street from me, and it tends to be a task to schlep myself to the spa for the hour-long facials I get downtown, so I was looking for something more convenient. However, MudbuM is very serious about the UP TO part of their "up to 30 minute facials" advertisement. I was taken back to the chair at 1:05 and I was done (walking out of the chair) at 1:23. That somehow included a "5 minute" neck and shoulder massage add on I got for free because there was a scheduling mixup. However, the massage is really challenging to enjoy in a chair that covers - you guessed it - both your neck and shoulders. So, my facial itself was 13 minutes - max. The products smelled nice, and my skin feels soft, but I could have probably done this at home in the same amount of time. I was lucky to have an introductory offer for neighborhood residents, but the whole experience was, in my mind, too short to justify the $50 regular price cost, and then the $10 tip on the service. read more

I try to see Regis once a week for a 30 min facial (aka a weekly face clean). He does excellent work and is a very talented esthetician. I've been seeing Regis for about a year, and have found him to be hands down the best esthetician at CYDF. I have gone to all four locations and tried them all out at different points in the past two and a half years. I find the West Loop location to be the most relaxing due to its quaint size and quiet corner location. Additionally, Regis is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to skincare. He has been able to treat my skin and provide research based advice. He is well educated and beloved by all of his clients. Seeing him every week is something that I look forward to not only because of his expertise, but because he has a friendly, calming, and fun personality. I don't have a lot of time to pamper myself, so I appreciated the ability to be in and out in 30 min. Although it's like an express treatment, it didn't feel too fast. I had a staycation in the city for 2 nights and last minute decided to get a facial after coming across Clean Your Dirty Face on Tik Tok. Where do I begin, staff was friendly and the place was clean and very cute. I only paid $25 when I made my reservation because I got the 50% off because it was my first time, once I got there I added $40 worth of add ons (the pumpkin mask, extractions and neck massage) it was hard to say no. The chair you sit in is like a regular salon chair that leans a little back and just 2 feet away from you is another chair with a random person so there's no privacy. Not completely sure how she was able to do a facial with extractions and massage in 30min but she did and I was actually glad it was over I was hoping for some quiet me time but the entire time she just asked me questions about my current routine and what I use only in the end to discredit my facial products to buy the products she used on my skin because its "better". So $65 later plus $20 tip I was mad at myself because I could have gone somewhere else for an hour facial where they ask me questions before and let me enjoy my facial in peace! read more
