The nicest, kindest, most amazing people. The coffee is incredible. Their mission is even better than the coffee. I was brought to tears listening to their story. They provide employment for adults with intellectual disabilities, a portion of sales goes toward clean drinking water for 11 different nations, and the coffee is USDA fair trade organic. Not only that, the service is so wonderful. You feel at home here. Free WiFi and tons of tables if you want to work from there for a while. I'll be back! Can't wait.

We love the CWC! It's beautiful inside, their drinks and food are good (hello chick-fil-a sandwiches), and they have a great mission.

(Church cafe run by staff with disabilities)- I request you to go through the complete review... this is not your usual cafe, it's here with a purpose, Clean Water Cafe is located at Liquid Church, 299 Webro Road. (Search Liquid church on Google map) basically, their motto is - people with special needs such as autism spectrum disorder, down syndrome, and ADHD can change the world for good! With over 80% of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities unemployed, this cafe is helping them to create a meaningful pathway to acceptance, inclusion, and appreciation in the workplace. the goal of the coffee shop is to provide "delicious coffee, breakfast, and lunch with a cause." It employs 19 people with disabilities, some of whom say it's their first paid job. Cafe supports two causes that Liquid Church is passionate about providing supportive employment for all adults, including those with special needs. The manager informed us- all proceedings are used to provide clean water to families in Central America and Africa. Coming to Food: Menu wise- very Limited menu though, but hey, you are here with a purpose too :) They have Chick-fill-a limited menu ( 2 Sandwiches, 1 burrito, and 2 Salad) - Church has partnered with Chick-fil-A A full range of coffee and other beverages (Lattes, Frappes, etc...) are also on the menu along with baked goods, fruits, and salads. Ambiance-wise: it is top class, with cool sitting arrangements, couches, and sofas. Have a coffee and chit-chat, Wi-Fi is available so one can work from here as well. The timing could be the issue though: business is open to the public for regular hours 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Great local coffee shop with super friendly service and great drinks. I like that they also serve chick fil a sandwiches during lunch. The unique thing about this coffee shop is that is also a place of employment for adults with special needs, as well as supports clean water access in foreign countries. Overall really great atmosphere and friendly staff.

The moment you walk in, you can tell the place is well-maintained, has the same size and layout as the West Coast. . Everything feels fresh, organized, and inviting. The staff was also incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Now for the best part--the bakery items. Everything I tried was delicious and the prices are so reasonable compared to Paris Baguette. The breads were soft and flavorful, the pastries perfectly balanced (not overly sweet), and you can really taste the quality in every bite. It brought back the same great experience I've always had in LA. This bakery. chain is more of an old school Chinese bakery (which I love) rather than a more modern Korean take on pastries and buns like Paris Baguette (overpriced). So glad to have a location like this closer to home. I'll definitely be coming back often!

I suppose having all of them wrapped helps to preserve the freshness, but I don't know- it seems a bit excessive. I got 4 items to try. So far I just had the choco bun. Wow! Can't say I've had anything like it. Tastes almost like a chocolate bagel with a smooth, chocolate filling on the inside. Not overly sweet! I like this one a lot. I also got the salt bread and white chocolate strawberry bread. Looking forward to trying the others!

Easily one of the better specialty lattes I've had. The almond croissant was fantastic: flaky, buttery, and topped generously with almonds. It paired really well with the coffee. The café was very busy when we walked in, which says a lot about how popular it is. Tables are on the smaller side, so if you're planning to work on a laptop, it can feel a bit tight -- but it's still doable if you're mindful of space. What really stood out was the staff. I've seen a few negative reviews, but my experience has been totally different and I honestly think those critiques are undeserved. The coffee and food are fantastic. Their beans come fresh from the family plantations in Colombia, which you really can taste in every cup -- you won't find that kind of direct farm-to-cup flavor around here. It's wonderful to have such great quality coffee and a lovely atmosphere right here in Lake Hiawatha. Highly recommend stopping by!
