From the time I pull in, to the time I go through the store, until the time I leave, this place is the ABSOLUTE BEST. My kids spilled lemonade mix in the back of my truck and the detailers made it to where you can never tell anything was there. I brought my car in for a detailing and got the most expensive option expecting to get into my car and it be spotless. It was definitely not.... they only cleaned areas that were obvious and did not do the deep clean I thought I was paying for. I would not recommend getting your car detailed here. Asked for the Wheel Express and specifically asked the gentleman at the vacuum station to vacuum the back of my van. He assured me he would. When my car was ready, the floor mats were thrown in the back seat, the door jams and sills were filthy and the back was not vacuumed. I paid $27 for a car wash and it was awful. read more

I paid $30 for an express clean. You would think with this detail they would at least sweep the crumbs out of your cup holders.

Worst place ever! Not enough seating for all the waiting customers! Four chairs among a huge amount of retail space of cheap wares they are hawking rather than taking care of their patrons!! People were packed in with all that stuff to buy waiting. It was an anxiety attack waiting to happen. I went outside to get fresh air and there were no benches! I will never go back!! read more

I've been coming here for years they do such a good job. Today was a new experience I felt so scammed. I pulled in ( no waiting) and the slick rick order taker took my order of "a full service wash" and in about 12 seconds turned it into a detail wash doubling the price. $26 to $43. When I questioned him he said well you said you wanted the works. " no I want the full service like I always get. That's what I said and I don't have time for a detail." Sooooo when my car was finished it looked like crap I should have just paid my kids. The floor mats were hardly touched and still had trash in the seats and floor. The dash wasn't touched and the window is worse than before. It's shameful! I don't respond well to such high pressure and tricky tactics and I won't be back. read more

I have been gong to clean sweep for the last few years ever since I moved to lexington. The Clean sweep staff always very friendly and does a very throughout job inside and out. I can't imagine ever using another car wash, keep up the good work! read more

I had a great experience at Clean Sweep. I did the interior detail and my car looks brand new! They gave me a free scent (I chose the lemon and it smells great). The gentleman who I talked to first walked around my car with me so I could show him what was really important to me, and I was happy to find out that everything I wanted done was already included in the interior detail (I wanted my car washed, the door jams cleaned, the rubber mats and carpet mats cleaned, the seats folded down and cleaned, the underneath of my car sprayed, my carpets and seats vacuumed and shampooed). I have a dog who sheds like mad, and they got the majority of the dog hair out (which is a difficult feat since my seats have a design that dog hair gets stuck underneath). The GM even came over when I came back to pick up my car to let me know if I want to come back after the seats have dried, they should be able to get the rest of the dog hair out since the shampoo helps releases the dog hair. I really appreciated that as I know how hard it is to get the dog hair out of my car. I've already told my husband, the next time our dog goes to the vet, it has to be in his truck lol! I'm very happy with my experience here and will be returning! I would highly recommend to anyone looking to have an interior detailing. I looked around online and they definitely have the best price for interior detailing that includes a car wash. read more

Clean sweep car wash what a joke. Took my car there yesterday and paid 30 dollars to have it cleaned. Now if I pay 30.00 to have my car cleaned I would think they would at least wipe out the inside but nooooo it was a new car that I had just bought ( used) and it looked the same when they finished whole process took 15 min total Never going back there again. I took my truck there today for an inside/out wash..$29. After I left, I went home to put my daughter's car seat in the back and it looked like the back seat and floor board hadn't been touched. The guy assured me that the windows would be cleaned with the package I had chosen, they didn't clean any of the windows. I'm very disappointed with the service. The exterior was cleaned well, on a positive note. I would not recommend getting a full service wash at this location. read more

Was just there. They were busy but only had one man to help customers. I sat there almost ten minutes and then the guy starts helping another person that just pulled in. I turned the car around and left. I haven't been pleased with their work anyway so I'm NEVER going back. read more

Can you give less than one star? Went two weeks ago and didnt clean back window inside on mt van and I got the full service in and out $28.00. Today I took my other to do the express and went to exit and some guy was spraying his tires in the right express exit and the left side full service was blocked with a car getting wipe down. I hollered out my window to employees if he could move and was ignored by all. Guy looked at me and went back to wiping down. I yelled out can someone move a car so I can exit and the owner of the car in the full service lane got in and moved hers. Why the employees couldn't tell the guy to move and keep the express lane clear is beyond me. Never again read more

I would absolutely not recommend this place to anyone if they really want a professional job done for what they pay for. I was charged 117.00 for a complete interior cleaning, but for what I received, I should've only been charged 49.00 for the basic floor carpet shampoo. They didn't even touch my seats/vinyl which was part of the package. The same minor dirt marks that were on both my front seats before I took my car were there afterwards. I could've taken my car somewhere else and been charged less than 50 dollars for what they did in terms of detailing and completeness. The girl at the desk was terribly rude and unprofessional as well. She did not even say thank you or crack a smile, and she practically threw my keys at me when I came to pick up my car. So I won't be returning to this unprofessional place and I will be recommending any companies or individuals I know to look elsewhere as well. I certainly learned my lesson about this poor establishment and service they offer and advise anyone to check out other car cleaning businesses before they even consider Clean Sweep on Richmond Road in Lexington, KY. read more

I watched as new Nissan was pushed into the back of my 4 month old SUV while they were both inside the wash without drivers in them. I waited when my car came out for someone to say something. Nothing... Then I walked up to find a very small scratch on my bumper. It was almost like a pin hole where the clear coat had been penetrated (perhaps from a bolt holding on a front license plate. The driver of the other car did not see the incident and pulled off before I could say something to her. So I asked to see a manager. It took 15 minutes and his response was "I'm Sorry." Frankly that might have been an acceptable remedy had they pointed out the incident. I told him what bothered me the most was I had to point it out, and asked if that seemed like an acceptable remedy. His response was we have dealt with accidents before. WOW! All they needed to do was some simple form of service recovery. IE point out the issue, comp the wash or offer a certificate for a free wash next time... The end result is for my $26.00 I got a less than good car wash dirt patches still on my black SUV, a scratch on my bumper and a 30 minute visit. I don't think they can really fix this at this point but we will see. I gave them my business card and told them if they want to make it right call me. If they do I will post t thumbs up. The manager who greeted me when I drove up started out by offering the $28.00 car wash. I do not appreciate the hard sell and I wonder if he would have done the same with a male driver. I opted for the exterior wash with towel dry for $10.00. The towel dry was great, the workers nice. However, I've never been through a car wash before that bent up my front hang tag and caused my drivetrain/powertrain malfunction light to come on. New car, too! :-(( read more

I've paid for the full service wash at Clean Sweep about 4-5 times a year since I moved to Lexington in 2012 and have recommended them to coworkers and friends many times. I had always been well pleased until a few months ago when my car was still visibly dirty (after having waited a good while). I took it in today for the $34 package and while the outside is clean and shiny, I pulled out of the parking lot and made a circle right back into the other side because the inside looked like other than my rubber mats being rinsed off, nothing else had been touched. I do not have children, typically don't have passengers, and rarely eat ANYTHING in my car. However, I had recently taken a long trip that required me to eat in my car while driving and I had dropped some crumbs (very visible and not easily missed) into the cup holder area as well as had some visible dirt between my seat and the door. When I got my car back, it was still there... and the windows nor console area had been wiped down. If my car was truly dirty, I would not be complaining that they missed those things.... but when you keep your car clean to start with and are paying that much for them to basically wipe it down.... and run it thru a wash and to dry it, those things should have not been missed. When I went back, the man had them to vacuum it again and they only got about half of it. At that point, I just ended up pulling down to the self-service vacuum and doing it myself. They've gotten me twice in a row, but there will not be a third time, especially with so many new (and cheaper) car wash options in town now. I don't mind doing it myself since I keep it pretty clean to start with, but over the last few years had enjoyed the luxury of having Clean Sweep do it for me occasionally. They've lost a customer who sent them several others.... very disappointed. read more
