They are usually a pretty good choice for a quick and thorough wash. They clean the mats and vacuum and they dry your car by hand. The monthly plans are a good value if you go more than once a month. You can cancel anytime. read more

Clean Sweep - Getting cleaned up! They do a good job. - Car Wash Near Me - Lexington, Kentucky

Just got to Lexington from a roadtrip from California, so needless to say the car was covered in bugs. They did a fabulous job getting rid of all of the bugs! Car looks great. read more

Clean Sweep is amazing! Fairly priced, they always have a friendly staff on board and they keep my ride lookin clean! They are very good at what they do and I highly recommend. read more

I had gone for a car wash, one time, and then was signed up for a monthly subscription for their highest package the following months afterwards, without my knowledge. I never was comity told the circumstances nor did I sign paperwork. I did not catch the transactions until months later, after hundreds had been lost to this company. The manager was kind and understanding, but ultimately did nothing and I received no credit back. He claimed it was under new ownership, and was not sure how they did subscriptions prior. Extremely disappointing, and I would recommend you know exactly what you are paying for even if you believe it to be a one time car wash. I will never give them my business again. read more

Stopped in for a much needed car wash and was so impressed by the service from the general manager, Brandon! He really made my day and has earned the business a repeat customer. While waiting on my car, he was kind and helpful to myself and every other passing customer. I'm happy I chose this location for a wash. read more

While looking for another car wash service, I inadvertently stopped by Clean Sweep. The customer service representative encouraged me to try them out and I'm glad that I did. I utilized the vacuum service and my car was washed through the automated portal. While getting my car dried, I lost my spare key and one of the attendants found it for me. Thanks again. read more

Everyone was pleasant and helpful with answers. The staff didn't stop until my filthy car looked like it came off the showroom floor, inside and out. Calvin and his crew were amazing! I bought the $70 package, not including their well deserved tip. Worth every penny! read more

Car wash is pretty decent. I would give 3-4 stars. Doesn't remove all dirt, bugs, debris build up. You have to maintain your car and not just take it to the car wash a few times a year. This is not a deep cleaning option. I'm not a big fan of the microfiber slapping the car. I much prefer a touchless car washes. I noticed the driver side spinning microfiber cleans the driver side well but the passenger side is too far out and does not clean the passenger side of the vehicle. The Wheel deal is $22. They hand dry your vehicle and put tire shine on. It's cheaper to do the monthly plan. Free vacuums, work well. I usually just wash my vehicle at home, not paying $22 again. read more

I had to take a business car here to get washed because the employer direct bills this location. I have to state that it was a unique experience. There are individuals who actually wipe your car down and vacuum it out. It is kind of like a car wash before it became full automated like at a Shell gas station or those other self serve car washes where one can just vacuum out your car yourself. It is great that a business is willing to employ people once again like the old days (coming from a millennial). The process for anyone that has not been. One leaves their vehicle near the vacuums and then they get a receipt from one of the individuals working there. You will then go inside, hand the receipt, and then pay for it. The entire inside is like a touristy/automotive store. It is weird. For someone new to this place, like myself; I thought I was actually in a whole another business. One of the individuals will come inside once your vehicle is ready. They will have cones where they want you to exit. Do not worry! One is supposed to drive in between the cones to exit. I had to ask if they had it blocked off and what alternative exit I was supposed to use. read more

So I went thru and paid 38$ plus tax to get no more side other than mats cleaned, the assistant manager assured me that they only do light dust with no doors no seats touched at all. So I basically got an outside ply car wash people don't throw away your money at this car wash go to the south broadway one this is a joke read more

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ($32) FOR THEIR SERVICE. Wanted to charge me $70 pkg just to wipe down interior door frames. rude complacent robot employee. being a regular customer for years and pointing out their lack of quality, obviously upset them, my cars hazard lights were activated, as my car exited the wash. thought that was odd, but thought may be an internal signal to others, that we were problematic customers. (never in all the years going there have I seen that). The elderly woman at checkout when I voiced my concerns, could have cared less. When I walked to MY car to supervise the wipedown I paid for, a rude Hispanic fellow told me the car wasn't ready yet. ???? It's my car!!! ... and I grabbed their towels and proceeded to wipe my car down to my satisfaction before I left. Upon doing this I find when they taped over my gas cover they opened it so the water and soap would get inside there, which it did. Thankfully I wiped it out before the soap and water could get into my gas tank... I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN. I paid $32 for a cheap wash job, and half a$$ wipe down. I came home and had to wipe my car and rims down where they missed completely. read more

Great car wash service. I opted in for the unlimited monthly membership and have been very happy with it. Since it's a little pricey, you have to go 2-3 times per month to get the value. They give you a little sticker and scan you in so it's super easy every time you go. Any time you need a quick outside only wash, you can pull through. Pro tip - spend time inside looking at all their great merchandise. So many cute, cool, unexpected items to buy while your car is getting a bath! read more

Was there 40 minutes and it wasn't really busy. Seemed to be plenty of staff but they were all on their phones and not interested in working. For spending over $30 this wash nowhere near met expectations. The interior looked untouched. Nice gift shop. read more

Following a 6.5 hour drive to Lexington, our vehicle was in desperate need of a major scrubbing! Having left Memphis in the darkness of the early morning hours (5am), our SUV had encountered many insects which splattered all over our windshield and front grill. Our friends suggested Clean Sweep Car Wash. I'm glad I didn't see the Yelp reviews til after we went there. Not sure why the low 2.5 star score as we so pleased with the job they did that I immediately went to Yelp to give a 5 star review! We were pleasantly greeted by the attendant as we drove up requesting an exterior wash. He was so welcoming and wished us a good day. Driving around to the wash itself, the next attendant folded in our mirrors after spraying down the front of our SUV. He also taped down our rear wiper blade before our vehicle went thru the automatic wash. While the ride thru wash did not take too long, we were pleased with the amazing job it did! No bugs left on our vehicle anywhere! They also hand dry your vehicle when it comes out of the wash! For only $8 and an additional cash tip for the guy who dried our car, we felt this was an exceptional value for the service received! read more

This place was slamming busy so it took awhile to get my car cleaned. When I got it back, for $54 it looked really good but the next day I realized there was food containers under my seats they didn't get and there were spots of food/drink/dirt/whatever that hadn't been cleaned. I would do a more thorough inspection before leaving next time. You want to get your monies worth. read more

Update: Went back today to give them 1 last chance and paid for the $29 Superworks. Ended up with not only soap left on the car, but nasty dirty run streaks all over the place, dirt left all over the back, dirty windows and dirty tires instead of what I paid for. Will not be back. I've come to Clean Sweep several times because it's close and convenient. Have noticed that they never seem to touch the top of the car, even when I get the procedure packages. Today I went cheap with the $10 exterior express + towel dry. I specifically asked if that included the top of the car since they always miss it. Was assured that it would be done. Was assured incorrectly. Again, didn't touch the top of the car. I am a ride-share driver with a short car, so my riders can see it when they get in. Having it 1/2 done is not good. This car wash obviously prioritizes being a gift bazaar over customer comfort. It you like being elbowed for 45 minutes into racks and tables of gewgaws and knickknacks, and into other awkwardly waiting customers, all for an overpriced, sloppy car wash, then this is your place! Auto Spa on Winchester Rd has lots of seating, complimentary coffee, and friendly staff who talk to you, so you feel valued there rather than hustled. The only thing Clean Sweep cleanly swept was my wallet. read more

The monthly pass is the best deal in town. Overall they do a great job for the price and the staff is always willing to help. My favorite car wash in town. read more

I got my car washed at Clean Sweep today. All the guys I talked to really helped me figure out what my car needed. I have really light tan interior that needed cleaned, so I got the seats cleaned and the interior. I thought it was a little pricey but they worked on my car for almost an hour (I watched). I was very happy with my car at the end. Compared to the other places I have been in Lexington I paid a little more but I am more satisfied with the results. I liked that I was able to inspect the car before I left and they told me if I was unhappy with anything to bring it back and they'll do a touch up! Also, super cute store inside. I bought my puppy a collar! read more

For a car wash Clean Sweep gets all my stars. Locally owned and they were quick and efficient and my car was cleaned to my expectations. I felt every detail was looked at. I also enjoy looking inside at the different unique items that make great gifts while I wait. read more

I came here so that my van can finally get a professional cleaning (I'm too embarrassed to say when the last time this was done) and wanted more than just a basic car wash but not a complete detail. I paid for the super works car wash and the super interior $49. It's a van so it's a $5 fee and I also got the F/S Lava Wax. So I spent a total of $59 (came with a free scent filter). I came here bc I was in the area and I didn't read the past reviews until after I paid for my ticket. So then I became curious as to what my car would look like after they cleaned it. I didn't take a before picture bc I was too embarrassed but I have to say, I have a more positive review about this place. I took into the account that I did not pay for a very detailed cleaning and they did a great job for what I paid for; I can see my carpet! My kids have a bad habit of spilling food and drinks and they pretty much cleaned all of that up. The outside of my car looks great as well as my tires. I'm not very big on car washes but I think I will come here again. The inside of the car wash had a cute little store and I enjoyed looking through the trinkets they sold to keep me entertained while waiting. I gave a tip to the workers that wiped and vacuumed my car bc it was hot outside and they deserve it just for being out there working in this heat. I'm glad I had a more positive experience here and I've learned that sometimes, you have to try out a place regardless of bad reviews and form your own experience and opinion on it. Maybe you'll agree with the Yelpers and maybe you'll have a better experience like I did; which makes the reason why Yelp is so great! read more

I went to Clean Sweep Carwash on Richmond Road. I asked for The Super Works to get the inside cleaned as well as the outside. As I was driving away, I not6that there was still popcorn in the console cup holders. I went back. The worker said that the console wasn't included in inside cleaning. WHAT??? Does that make sense to anyone? After complaining that that was stupid but it wasn't his fault and offering to pay more to get it done, the worker did vacuum out the popcorn and wiped it off.(Not using any clesnser)cleanser. The worker was very nice and went above and beyond since they "don't do consoles" but that is a stupid policy. Also, they used dirty cloths to clean the inside of my car windows. They are streaked and much much worse now than before they touched them. I barely had time to sit down before my car was ready. I really don't know if they actually did everything that was supposed to be included. But the workers were all very nice. read more

This is the coolest car-wash ever! They offer free coffee, free wi-fi, and if you bring a picture from an overseas car wash, even a free car wash! After leaving your keys and your car and heading inside, you can watch your car go through the wash behind the glass window panes or browse in the cute little shop attached. By the time I'd taken it all in, Mom's car was sparkly clean and ready to go! Prices start at about $15.00 for a basic wash/vacuum. read more

Just left the location on Broadway at Harrodsburg Road! Been to several carwashes in town and by far they did the best job, will definitely be my "goto" from now on. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! I have tried to give this place at least 5 chances over many years in hopes that it would get better. Beyond frustrated every single time. I get my car washed frequently for work and I usually go to Mr. Sparkle - they do the best job every time and you don't have to pay extra $$$ to get basic things done. Clean sweep is basically a glorified exterior cleaning at $30- this is what my center console still looked like after they "cleaned" it was told it cost another $20 to actually get the inside cleaned. Seriously don't waste your time! Do not pay extra for them to do basic cleaning- go to Mr sparkle or Jeff's car wash. I don't know why anyone would ever go back here. I will not be! read more

I'm did the super interior to get me started and then have the unlimited after that. The super interior was just that super except for the Windows. Either on the carpets, the dash or the Windows. They absolutely stink at Windows here! Call me picky but you pay to get your car cleaned not half cleaned and it's not cheap! read more

I'm super unhappy with my experience here on Friday. Not bad. Very friendly, good price and a large variety of services you can get. Funny, when I went in the lobby to pay I thought I was at a Cracker Barrel. They have a large amount of stuff to buy that is not even related to a car, but I like it. The cashier was super-duper nice and most of all they give military and law enforcement discounts! The wash itself was ok. Streaks were left on the window and suds were still on the car when it came out. Got a towel dry but when the techs were done they didn't tell me my car was done. I had to ask. Also they don't check you claim check so keep this in mind. Others wise I will come back. read more

I keep coming back but mainly because it's a convenient location and in the end they get the car cleaned. The people are always nice it's just they are SLOW. I always save up Facebook and Instagram checking so I have something to do while I wait. Granted I can be impatient waiting but compared to another car wash in town this place can take forever. I mean it can take so long to get the car through the car wash that you would think it's already dry by the time it comes out of the wash. But no, still have to wait even longer for them to do that part. But in the end, the car is washed and it wasn't me that had to do it! p.s. I did this review while waiting at the car wash. It could easily have been a much longer review but I need to check Facebook! read more

The interior of my car was terrible after paying to have my car cleaned. I attached a pic. The exterior had to be redone there was so much dirt still left as well as streaks. I've been coming to clean sweep for years and love the store and people but sometthing changed in the last year or so. My car is never cleaned like they used to. Sadly this is my last trip here.
