Stay far away from Import Auto Specialist! I have had my GTI serviced by this shop for almost 5 years and they have consistently gotten worse. It started with a simple oil change where my factory dipstick was swapped out for a different one from another car that didn't properly fit my GTI. I contacted the owner who said he would order a replacement. Never happened. I let it go and had another service for an aluminum skid plate installed. Rather than using the installation kit provided it was installed with zip ties! Upon inspection I noticed this and returned to have properly installed. The last straw was for a timing gasket replacement where my car fender was damaged-paint chipped and dented. Pure Negligence! I noticed this when I cleaned the car a couple days later. They supposedly reviewed video and admitted fault. No explanation or apologies or even contacted by the owner as promised Rather payed my body shop to touch up. How does this even happen? You knew you damaged my car and never told me. I found the damage and called you out! I will never take any vehicle to Import Auto Specialists or recommend to anyone seeking honest quality work. Do yourself a favor and have your car serviced anywhere else. STAY AWAY! read more

If you are going to the dealership, you are wasting your money. You are paying for the "free" cappuccino they offer you. You are paying for the loaner car that you get. You are paying for the loaner car even if they do not have any available. Do your car and yourself a favor and go to Import Auto Specialists. They are the most honest and affordable service place I have been. I had bought a used BMW, and I was having some problems. There was oil underneath the hood and leaking down. I was almost certain I had a blown head gasket that was going cost thousands. I drop it off with Import Auto Specialists, shared my thoughts. They called me an hour later saying that the wrong oil filter was used by whoever changed the oil last. I was expecting to pay thousands and I ended up paying like $30. Oil changes and routine services that a Mercedes or BMW dealer would charge $200, $300, $400 or more cost a fraction of that here. I've always been satisfied with the job done and my car has always been done on time. I've referred several people here and I will continue to do so. read more

I'm very happy with the team at Import Auto Specialists. I've been bringing my car here for the last 18 months, mainly for oil changes. On my last visit, they said I'll probably need new brakes but I should wait for the light to come on. Sure enough, a few weeks later I get the warning and called for an appointment. Dropped the car off and they said they will check the rotors too. I also asked for an overall inspection since I was planning a long road trip. A few hours later they call and the brakes are done. No need to replace the rotors this time and no problems found in the safety inspection (just a chip in the windshield I knew about). Other shops might have wanted to replace the rotors or used the inspection to 'find' other things to fix, but not Import Auto Specialists. They fix what needs to be fixed and they do it quickly at a reasonable price. I highly recommend Import Auto Specialists. read more

Take both my Lexus and Mitsubishi to Daniel and team. They are honest and trustworthy and I have never had an issue with the work they do and the price they charge. I even bring my cars here for oil changes, etc. as they let me know how everything looks overall and any pending work that will need to be done in the future. Would not take my cars anywhere else. I found Import Auto Specialist and decided I would give them a try. I called to schedule a appt and the were very nice when I was speaking to them on the phone. I showed up for my appt and they got my problem repair quickly and looked over the vehicle to ensure that everything was ok. When it came time for the bill, my jaw did not hit the floor as if I was at the dealer get there bill.
