Brandon and Hayden help me re-reactivate one of my vehicles after I've spent months of trying to get a hold of the home office and finally getting issues resolved. But Brandon and Hayden actually helped me and took care of me and fix the issue. I was having and I have nothing but good things to say about these two young men. These are the kind of people you need to have working at all of your locations generally customer service sucks. You cannot get through to the home office phone. It takes weeks. It took me eight months to get an issue resolved but Brandon and Hayden fixed it immediately, can you tell I have nothing but good things to say about Brandon and Hayden today they gave me five star treatment. read more

The car wash itself is fine. My issue was with the staff. I just wanted a single wash. The staff person of course tried me to sell a membership, which I politely declined multiple times. They pointed out that I would save money with a membership. I declined a final time, and at this point he made a rude remark. Maybe some of us are just sick of subscription services and just want to pay and be done? Why are you getting personally offended that I'm not saving money by using your membership? It was ridiculous. I'll find another carwash. I don't need high pressure sales just to wash my car, especially if I have to decline three times before you accept my answer. Don't come to this location, the harrodsburg road location is newer and all of their vacuums are available. It is disappointing that the vacuums tend to be not available. I had to pull up to 3 different vacuums that didn't have out of order signs, only to find out those vacuums were out of order as well. Like so many others, I to have had a horrible time cancelling my membership. The local store NEVER answers the phone. The main number, you get a recording to call back during normal business hours. The website has no option to cancel!!! You can " change" your package but that's it!! They billed me 42.30 for one month!! Which is ridiculous! Went through and paid extra for tire shine. Pulled up, first in line, and the man that came out didn't spray car off anywhere at all. This has never happened. Anyway, I go on in through and then when I pull out I felt like I needed to get out and look at the cleaning. It was horrible! No tire shine added. The front and back bumper were dirty. It was ridiculous. I drive to front office and went in and asked the guy to come look at it. He did not. Instead just told me to go back through again. I said will tire shine be added. He said yes. He let me back in and sprayed it off this time and sprayed the tires with some sort of special spray in a bottle. I went through and it looked way better. I don't know what was going on. But if you use this place get out and check. You might need to go through again. read more

April 2022, I took my less-than-1-week-old SUV through this location's wash, only to have the rear wiper snagged and ripped off. I filed a claim immediately, took the pictures, and was told to go ahead and get it repaired and I'd be reimbursed. Well, over a year and a half later, guess who hasn't seen a single dollar from them???? I've been in contact with multiple customer service people, and even was told by the "damage claims manager Clay Howell" that I should've seen the check and have proof that my claim was approved, but it's been 4 months since he's even responded to an email. Now, if I call in I just get told by customer service that it's not their department, and they'll forward my concern to their supervisor - which leads to literally nothing happening. I filed a BBB claim, but this business is seriously awful and I don't recommend giving them a penny. I refuse to let this go until they either pay me my money, or go out of business... read more

Worst car wash ever. I waited 5 to 10 minutes to begin my wash because the 2 girls working was busy checking thier phones and hanging out inside. I could see them just sitting inside. The wash was ok I guess but I paid for their best wash the soap was really flat and not foam like ussaly. The vacuums didn't look to be in service because there hoses are scattered all over the lot I'm not sure if your supposed to gather pieces and put your own together or not. Can't reach anyone. Not good business. No one to keep eye on things. Lately noticing guys driving in the wrong way, back up, to get trucks pointed in right direction. Then use ZIPS vacuums and cleaning supplies and cloths. No one to keep eye on things. They're blind to being robbed. This is Richmond Road one. Happened again to me today, I'm driving around the corner and almost hit a black pickup truck head on because he's coming in the wrong way to realign his truck to use the facilities without paying. ZIPS has no idea being taken by these guys. Not only that, the cart was not out with the rags that you wipe down your mirrors and the water off your car, I don't know if they're providing that anymore either. There is another car wash half mile down the street that's only $15 a month all you can wash, couple friends use. At least trucks can't pull in wrong way and use cleaning supplies and vacuum for free when I pay for it. Had a membership once Time To Shine, but service has gone downhill since Zips bought the business. Drove there yesterday (went to 3 Zips, but complaints for those go in a different location) and cones were up in all lanes. Went back today and only one lane was open with a huge line. That was not the issue as it moved fast. The vacuums were not working. moved to another spot and again, no vacuums working. Most of them were on the ground. Before I had a license I had my mom take our car to Jeff's Car wash. Even when living in Eastern KY I went to Jeff's EVERY SINGLE TIME I was in town. Management at the Hamburg location is useless. Wasn't able to assist and told me 3 days ago that they were handling the matter, however went in today and issue still wasn't fixed. To say I am completely disgusted would be an understatement. I took both my new Volvo and Kia Seltos through Zips on Sharkey way in Lexington Kentucky just prior to Christmas. There was about a 3 hour difference in when we took our white Kia through vs. our black Volvo. leaving the business with the Volvo around 3:30 in the afternoon, I went directly to a hair appointment. Upon getting out of the car the damage was visibly noticeable. My hood looks like it was peppered with white paint flecks. There are hundreds if not thousands of micro specs. I went home to show my wife directly after my appointment. We drove directly over to Zips. I asked they pull all camera footage to prove or disprove any damage prior to entering the bay, and upon exit. After looking over the car throughly with a Zips employee, you can see there are partially circular swirl marks from the overhead spinning attachment on the hood, across the back, and the driver tail light is all scratched up. Those micro specks that look like paint are actually chips out of our paint on our vehicle. The Zips employee called his boss and advised of the situation. Apparently, they have been operating without working cameras. No footage could be pulled. Pictures were taken and a claim made. The employee agreed the damage clearly appeared to be a direct result of the bay attachment. We received a denial of our claim about a week later. I called corporate to advise of the situation and they created another claim. We were told to expect a call within 5 business days. Well, no call as of yet. This is horrible customer service and we will not let this go. I am not the type of person to cause a disturbance for any business, but being in the customer service industry on the corporate side of things for many years, right is right and wrong is wrong. Accept responsibility and do right by your customers. Our car looks like it has been driven through a battle field. The Kia is the same way. However, I am not looking for anything on the Kia as that car is white and you can't tell unless you get at eye level and look. We are not willing to let this go and I will be contacting the local media. Something needs to be done. read more

I have been a member for over an year an a half, and I was unaware that they were charging me double to almost triple for my car wash. Before that, I was getting charged a low fee consistently and that was for months. After several months they increased almost double to triple and continue to increase it. I just happened to look at my account and seen it. I called customer service, and was told that no refunds could be done , and that i was getting the top of the carwash, when really that is a joke. The mat cleaner never works, the vacuum hoses are always half sucking( with pressure), and the pre wash that is supposed to happen from the attendants running the inside of the wash, doesn't at all!!! All they do is stay on their phones, when they are supposed to be washing the front of the car, before you enter the car wash. That's not TOP OF THE LINE NOTHING!!! I am very displeased, and when I called to get a refund for the past year that I have been getting charged the higher price, I was told that they could not accommodate me because I have been getting top of the line service. I literally had to raise my voice at the agent for her to escalate me to the refund department. In which, she notated the account. I am now awaiting a call or email or something to see the results. I couldn't even get a phone number to contact them myself!!I am very displeased!!!! I know I have been accessing it, but thats because I thought i was paying the low-price that I had intially been charged for several months. Eric at sharkey way Lexington Ky, immediately started accusing me of putting it in drive or foot on the brakes. Neither was true. He approached me with intensity and attitude.
