We used Clean Sweep to clean our AC & dryer ducts today. We recently moved into our condo & just wanted a good cleaning. Communication was great, estimate was accurate with no extra charges & they showed up as scheduled! Our tech was John. He did all of the work that was promised by their office (Kim?) and spent time with me to show me the pics he took & to describe the work he had done. Glad we included the dryer duct as it was very clogged as evidenced by the pics he shared & we had noticed that dryer was not drying our laundry as we had anticipated. For some time, I wondered whether I should have my HVAC system cleaned, concerned if there might be hidden mold or more in my Air Ducts and Dryer Vent. I researched the various cleaning methods used to clean air ducts and vents. From Brushes, to Air Whips with/without "Skipper Balls", to Compressed Air. Extremely important was a vacuuming system that creates negative air pressure which pulls debris and contaminants out of the ductwork and prevents particles from becoming airborne during the process. I then goggled reviews on several companies, making sure they were HVAC-licensed and NADCA-certified (National Air Duct Cleaning Association), then had several on-site and telephone estimates (ranging from $700 to $1,800). I decided to try Clean Sweep Duct Cleaning & Air Conditioning, after speaking with Kim (Office Mgr) and Keith (Owner). They were very accommodating, explaining the details of their cleaning proess (Compressed Air small whips, creating the necessary negative air-pressure vacuuming (HEPA). They informed me what to expect, answering all my questions and concerns. Kim was so pleasant and efficient in working with her, answers to my various questions and scheduling my service which was performed yesterday (6/12/25). I was so pleased with their professionalism, that I decided to have them perform my annual AC Maintenance. William, their magnificent Technician, arrived on-time, evaluated my air ducts, dryer vents and AC units, clearly explaining the process and answering my many questions. One of the benefits in Sweep's cleaning process is the use of cameras (Cell & Snake Cable). After removing each Vent Cover/Grill, William photographed the duct interior before and after cleaning and sanitizing (they use a plant-based sanitizer). He was extremely thorough in his work (as seen by the photos) and took great care to avoid any safety or property mishaps. Any questions I asked were patiently and clearly explained. After cleaning the Dryer Vent, I was very pleased that this process includes an on-site inspection of the vent exhaust, located on the roof. His AC maintenance was also thorough, checking and cleaning all necessary components. I didn't care my 2,100 sq. ft. Home required 6.5 hours to complete the service. William was so efficient and friendly, making this process a not-unpleasant experience.. In summary, my time spent researching for my first Duct Cleaning and Dryer Vent cleaning was very worthwhile and rewarded. I was very pleased with the service Clean Sweep provided, excellent value, and I will definitely use them again. Thank you so much Keith, Kim, and William for your professionalism and service. We contacted Clean Sweep Duct Cleaning in Sarasota, to clean out our new (to us) 20 year-old home. They were able to come out the same week. The cleaning technician, Levi, was very respectful of our home. He was thorough in his cleaning efforts, hard-working and had a very pleasant demeanor. He was here over four hours, constantly cleaning the ductwork with a special vacuum and snake system that they used. Our furniture and floors were not covered in soot or mildew when he were completed as their vacuuming system with all the contaminants. Their price was based on the number of vents, and we had a lot! Also had very high ceilings that they had to climb up with an extremely long ladder. They also had the ability to clean our clothes dryer vent, but we had just had that completed. I would not hesitate to use this company again, but make sure and ask for Levi. Glad to give him a tip as well! read more

Kim answered the phone and couldn't have been more genuine and helpful. She answered all of my questions. I felt comfortable enough that I booked an appointment before I hung up. My reasons for inquiring were air duct and dryer vent cleaning... they do both! During a recent AC cleaning and check up ...I started wondering why I would blow fresh, clean air through dirty...possible seriously clogged and dirty vents... Keith, the Clean Sweep technician, came today to demonstrate the "why." Keith was on time, fast, efficient, personable, and meticulously performed a great and thorough clean of my entire home. I felt as though Keith treated my home as if it was his own. Believe me...previously I have read horror stories about "other" companies... NOT this one. They are so professional and focused. MY dryer vent was the first vent Keith addressed. He cleaned every vent and hose connection up to the roof vent. At the roof, my vent was close to being completely clogged up... Keith made it look brand new. He took photos that he later shared with me when he came back inside. I also had 18 A/C vents that after Keith worked his magic, now look and breathe like brand new. Oddly enough, sitting here, I feel like I can detect a new crispness/freshness in my air. The vents are squeeky clean, and my house looks better than before Keith arrived. Maybe I'm just happier having all of this done. The vent cleaning took several hours to complete the job properly. It was well worth the wait! For those who wonder...it was a little loud (vacuun sound) at times, but nothing that prevented me from working on my computer and having conference calls. I've never had air ducts cleaned before. I was worried that the process would leave my home dirty. I was very impressed with this company's process. They put tarps down under every vent they cleaned. They cleaned every vent cover before putting it back. After picking up the tarps, they vacuumed any residue that was on the floor. I called because I felt there was a musty smell in our home. Levi was able to make an appointment with us for the next day and he did a very professional job. He removed and cleaned all of the vents thoroughly prior to vacuuming and sanitizing all of the ducts. He was very careful to put tarps down in the house and to clean up when we was done. BEWARE!!! After cleaning AC ducts runs one duct run stoped working ,also ripped off isolation from a suction line. I spoked to several AC companies and was told that thease duct cleaning companies who just vaccum ducts like chimney cleaners can make holes in ducts run. I live in Florida and AC system is essential.I scheduled real AC company to replace all ducts after this cleaning company. Tim from Cleansweep Duct Cleaning came on the day of replacing all ducts to see what happened .He said " I am not responsible for this and It is your choice to change the ducts". I asked Tim what their company Business Iicense and he did not tell me.I called several days to the company and texted them.They never returned my call. Finally when a woman answered my call she also said that their company not responsible for their work. I asked her about her business license and she hang up on me.
