A few weeks ago I was able to reach someone on my first try to book a move out cleaning service for my apartment. Spoke to Tania, she was very helpful and fun to chat with and getting my appointment booked for 9/26 for apartment clean out. I was sent a email with my confirmed time and date for the service along with a login to make any changes or cancel. The ladies came around 2:30 PM well within the time frame as promised. These ladies worked fast and very well together. They cleaned up the place in several hours. All I had left to do was the carpets to shampoo and wipe down the baseboards but they did me a favor in doing everything else for me. I so appreciate them and the service provided and they are reasonably priced. I would highly recommend and use again in the near future. read more

Mercedes and her company started off great. Then I got a phone call telling me they were changing from a "maid service" to "maid referral agency". She told me "you can tell them what you want, but you can't tell them how to do it" Weird. I thought "ok, as long as the house gets cleaned who cares". It went downhill from there. A woman named Tania took over managing the service and the whole thing swirled around the toilet bowl very quickly. (see what I did there?) lol They became very unreliable and communication disappeared almost completely. In the end, they just stopped showing up, no call, nothing. I reached out several times by email, phone and their website. No response at all. Yet I still get automated emails from Mercedes asking "how are we doing?" Hilarious. It was incredibly easy to get a quote from Mercedes. She does quotes based on # of rooms and bathrooms as well as taking into account the square footage of the home. She messages via Yelp messaging so make sure you check your Yelp inbox as I never really used it before. As soon as you decide she's your girl, of course, text messaging and phone calls are primary forms of communication. We had a great experience. I chose her from the fact that her before and after photos were "WOW". It really brought to light the substantial effort she puts into her work and her business' reputation. I also loved the fact that she even left thank you cards out. Customer service is really important to me and these small things really speaks volumes about her caring and kind personality. We did a move out deep cleaning and her team consisted of: her mom- Francis, Michael, Don, and Terence. They were all super cool and I loved that while we were still moving boxes, you could hear them all laughing and joking and playing music inside the house. They seemed more like family than coworkers and I loved that. Mercedes took care to show each member of my family the final send of and ask us if we had anything we would like done differently and if everything was to our satisfaction. The grime on the shower door was nonexistent by the time we was done. I wish she took a before and after picture. Before it was like a frosted glass but it was crystal clear by the time we left. I am definitely going to be a repeat customer and have already spoken to Mercedes about monthly or biweekly cleanings because we have a toddler at home and another bun in the oven. I was amazed because Mercedes was telling me about her own little family and was incredibly impressed that this beautiful woman has this really stellar business that is all her own at such a young age. Also, after her crew was done, she saw that we still were not finished cleaning out the garage and said if we need anything that she just lives up the street from us and let us know she is just a phone call away - what a sweetheart ... really my gosh!! I started using Mercedes last month, so far she is doing an amazing job at an affordable rate. However, I am giving this rating because after their time in my house, I have discovered jewelry missing. I noticed another review mentioning a similar situation. They will do a wonderful job at the cleaning, but make sure any valuables are put safely away. I made a police report as one item missing had great sentimental value. THIEVES! This is the first one star review I have ever written. I have attempted to reach out to the company over five times over the past week in order to cancel services and report my concerns and no one has gotten back to me so I felt compelled to write a review to ensure that no one else falls victim to this company. We are calling the police now to file a report. We had a necklace go missing after our second clean but we had just moved and have a tendency to misplace jewelry (we try to hide it from others and in our efforts hide it from ourselves) so we didn't think much of it. We put finding it on our list of things to do and moved on. Since then, we have looked everywhere in our home and have not found it. Additionally, we had some amazon gift cards that we planned to give as gifts to family and those have disappeared. After the disappearance of the gift cards we attempted to cancel service but no one has returned our messages answer our calls. To top it off, the maids showed up today after we cancelled service and one of them was wearing my T-Shirt!!!!!! I didn't want to believe it but after telling them that we have canceled services, I went and checked my drawer and my T-shirt was nowhere to be found. The maids names were Lisa & Mercedes and they intermittently showed up with a man who I was never introduced to. Excellent company, will definitely use them again! Out of the four cleaning companies I reached out to on yelp to ask for an inquiry of price, they were the fastest to respond. Mercedes the owner is very communicative throughout. We were able to schedule an appointment within a few days. A big plus for us was that they use green products. When they arrived, they asked which products we were okay with and my colleague who is very sensitive to smells told them she preferred them to clean with vinegar and mild soaps and so they did and it didn't compromise on the cleanliness! They came to clean our house which is actually an office downstairs and living arrangement upstairs, and were working while we were working which did not affect us at all. Our backyard glass door has never been cleaner! In fact, I almost walked through the glass because I thought it was open! The carpet was so clean, I didn't know the carpet on our staircase could get any cleaner and they even made the beds! They really went above and beyond cleaning in front of our house, the whole garage, and the backyard near the glass door. Mercedes called as soon as her two workers left and asked how things were and if I was completely satisfied. She also told me that if there's anything that wasn't perfect, she could send them back to finish it. The deep cleaning involves moving furniture and their standard cleaning is exactly the same as deep cleaning without moving furniture. This was an easy five stars! Overall is was a great experience, Mercedes even hand washed my kitchen floor because there were streaks. The shower looks amazing, they moved the furniture to sweep and mop, even moved the dog crates. They even made my sons bed. I loved that they did the windows and sills. They also did my pots and pans. They did dust, however missed a few shelves in the bedroom, no big deal. But they also missed sweeping and mopping the downstairs bathroom. UPDATE: now that we've had time to process, we realized we are missing more than the ring. $300 cash and a pair of Paige jeans... pretty obvious what happened here. Sigh... The cleaning aspect was phenomenal. It just wasn't worth the price we paid. By price, I mean my wedding ring and band that went missing the day we had our house cleaned. Both my husband and I were home during the cleaning, just moving from room to room to get out of their way. I can't say for certain that the cleaners stole them (for this reason I won't name names) but the fact that I had them that morning, put them in my closet on a ring dish and they were gone that night is hard to ignore. The cleaning crew was the only "outside influence" to come into our home that day. I am crushed to have been violated in such a way. Mercedes has been extremely cooperative and will be speaking to the police when the detectives call on behalf of our filed theft report. We didn't want to go that route but when the cleaner offered to come back and "help us look," then no call, no showed, refused to return calls we had no choice. I had a terrible experience with this company. I scheduled my cleaning, and was given a call the morning of stating the cleaners were running a bit late and would arrive between 9:30-10. No big deal, my appointment time was from 9-10 and I really appreciated that Mercedes, the owner, called to let me know. At 10:45, the cleaners still had not arrived. I called the owner and the business number, no answer. At 11:10 the cleaners arrived and explained that Mercedes did not tell them about my appointment until that morning, and they were aware it was an initial cleaning. I had an appointment at 2pm, so I needed to leave by 1:50. The cleaners were not even close to finishing by that time. Mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and the dishes I paid extra an extra $20 were not completed. The cleaners offered to come back and finish, however, I was leaving for vacation early the next morning and could not have them come back. I never received a call from Mercedes to schedule another cleaning or to apologize. I was charged $158.00 to have my 1000sq ft home partially cleaned. Total fraud, stay away!!! read more

BEWARE, THIEVES!!! I've never written a bad review, but feel it's important to share our story to help prevent it from happening to anyone else. We hired Clean House Agency for the extra help when we were expecting our first child. The first time the two cleaners came, Mercedes & another woman, they were 2 hours late, not very friendly, wouldn't make eye contact and just got to cleaning. I thought it was strange, but figured they just wanted to get in and do their job. They did do a pretty good initial cleaning. I was not informed of when they would be back, but they just showed up the next month and knocked on the door. I had been thinking about canceling, but was busy with my new child and didn't get a chance. We were home when they showed up & the house needed cleaning, so I let them in, but our baby was a week old and we had to go to a doctor's appointment, so I told them we needed to leave, but that they could stay and clean. When we got home, I noticed that one of our bathroom vanity drawers was open, which seemed strange, like they had been snooping, but I didn't think much of it at the time. Soon after I emailed the company to figure out what our agreed upon schedule was, when I could expect them each month and how I could let them in if I was not going to be home. No reply to my email. I waited about a week and emailed again, still no reply. I thought this was super unprofessional and strange, but now I get why. They had robbed us and went radio silent, probably because they had no plans on returning. I then became suspicious and went to a hidden jewelry box to retrieve my engagement ring and bands that I had taken off due to swollen fingers during pregnancy only to find them missing! We then discovered one of my husband's watches was gone and an expensive leather wallet of mine. We had been home every day with our newborn and only close friends and family had been in our house visiting while we were home. The house cleaners were the only people left in our house unattended. It was evident what had happened. We then checked Yelp and saw that the same thing had happened to someone else in Walnut Creek and another person in Benicia. We tried to call the owner and main line at Clean House many times and nobody answered and Mercedes' voicemail was full so we couldn't leave a message (again super unprofessional for a business). We emailed a couple times still with no response at all. We filed a police report and have reported them to the better business bureau, but you should beware that this agency seems to be a scam where they come in on the initial cleaning to scope your house and do a good initial cleaning, only to turn around and rob you. Maybe it's just the 2 women we had, but the owner, Mercedes, has been made aware of this issue by us and other victims and has chosen not to do anything about it, which makes me think she's in on it too. Either way, there are so many other good, reliable, trustworthy, professional businesses out there, it's not worth the risk. Clean House are thieves! read more

BEWARE!.......especially of your valuables while these cleaners are in your home. I believed Mercedes when she convinced me that her cleaners were thoroughly vetted and screened with a police report. My experience was similar to J R review on 4/14/18 and 4/29/18. Lisa and Mercedes came for a third time to clean my condo on memorial day 5/28/18. Before they came, I had 8 five piece place settings of sterling silver flatware in a safe place. However 14 pieces of my silver were in the dishwasher waiting to be washed, but after these cleaners left, those 14 pieces were gone from dishwasher. Almost $800.00 worth gone and Mercede's response..... Lisa and Mercedes would help me search for the flatware! I made a full police report in Benicia and unfortunately all they can do is question the women involved....so I have to eat this loss (no pun intended) and be better aware of my silver flatware. read more
