Terrible customer service!! We have been customers for several projects on our property and are EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED AND FRUSTRATED with our recent experience. We recently had a leak in our sprinkler system and we can't get anyone to call us back. We have been trying to get ahold of someone to help us since March 12 and it's been a horrible experience. The receptionist said she would call back and we have yet to hear back from her or get her to answer the phone again. We were supposed to get a call from irrigation tech and nothing. I've been calling on a daily basis and leaving voicemails where they say "they will call you back" but we've yet to receive a call back. CLC is the best! They have given us the best service over many years. Starting with redoing our dock over 15 years ago. They built a stone supporting wall along with flower beds. Over the years many more projects, always professional, caring & thorough.. highly recommend their work. read more

I would like to change my review. I initially rated them as 5 star, but I've noticed many errors in the installation since then. I have crabgrass growing through the sod throughout the yard and the side yards. I have sprinkler lines that are new and some that are old, but I don't know which ones are functioning as none of the garden beds are visible on the Rachio app. I called and asked that the owner to come out and take a look. I was excited to use a design consultant and scheduled Brian a month in advance, but when the day arrived, no one showed. I called only to be told he left the company and "took his calendar with him." WHAT??!? No one had the decency to call and reschedule and it appears that they do not have any consultants to price the work. If the company doesn't keep records of appointments I would not recommend using them at all. AND - I wasted a month trying to get work done. read more

DO NOT MAKE AN ACCOUNT! I got a quote, tried to schedule a service, and did not book a service because they did not have a time that worked for me. They proceeded to trespass on my property AFTER I MOWED MY OWN LAWN, mow my lawn, and invoice me $90 for it. Chad initially said that I would be scheduled then confirmed prior to receiving a service. I never received any scheduling information whatsoever. Then when confronted about the trespassing, Chad said they don't schedule a time, and that you had to cancel 24 hours in advance. Even though they don't schedule times? Unprofessional, twice the price of the competition, and abysmal communication. I wish I could give 0 stars. read more

Chad created a xeriscape design very quickly for me and I liked the simple-looking, low maintenance approach. He made adjustments in the design as I requested for my budget and preferences. They showed up to start the work only a couple days later than estimated and completed the job in the time I was told. Brett communicated well with me while the work was being done. The men were polite and tidy, leaving the yard cleaned up after each day. The finished landscape looks just like the design and I'm excited to see the plants grow and bloom! My only disappointment is that Chad said he would come out to do a walk through but never did. I'm very pleased with the end result though. read more

Well, after looking over the landscaping project that was completed there are several issues we have and cannot recommend this company for landscaping work. We paid $35K for the landscaping. These are the facts from our project: 1) Wires for irrigation that should have been trenched several inches in the ground are above ground and exposed. 2) Soaker hoses are laying on top of mulch and not buried. 3) Lariope was not replanted after I brought up they are not evenly spaced.  One is even right in front of downspout from gutter. 4) Mulch is sparse in quite a few areas. 5) Front sprinkler heads are not spraying head to head leaving areas of grass not covered. 6) Weeds were supposed to be sprayed prior to project and was not done. 7) Beds were supposed to be cleared prior to mulching and not done. 8) Debris and empty tree pots were left in the yard after project. 9) No follow through with communication.  The owner rarely returned our calls. 10) We paid for plants and a tree in the contract that still has not been planted nor have I been given a refund. We were told via email that a refund would not be given and all contractual obligations were fulfilled. 11) A few of the workers stood around on their cell phones for half the day, not working, as observed by us and our neighbor.  Only 1 worker was committed to the project. 12) We were told they would replace plants that died after planting as soon as Spring arrived (non weather related). They said they would not leave us hanging even though the contract states they don't warranty the plants. No replacements were given and we were told in an email that "I (he) may have been inclined to replace the plants anyways if we could have avoided all of the defamation and untrue claims" that he insinuates we made in my reviews "but at this point I feel that I have fulfilled my contractual agreement to its fullest". This leads me to believe, based on his words in quotes, that he would have replaced the plants if the reviews were favorable. We are extremely unhappy and cannot give a good review of CLC.  We have been more than patient and accommodating during the whole process spanning 3.5 months and feel they owe us the same courtesy. A favorable and higher rating would have been edited and given had they contacted or visited us to make things right. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. This is the worst company I've worked with. I honestly don't feel like writing everything they did wrong, but let's just say Chad ended up terminating the contract because he didn't want to send his crew back to finish/clean up the job. I picked up chunks of cement and nails that were in my yard. They also got concrete on the side of my house that luckily i was able to get off after they left. I now have a concrete pad that looks like something my 4 year old did. I am now having to call another company to come and finish the job because not only did he terminate the contract, he never sent his crew back to finish the job. The guy couldn't measure in feet to save his life. If you've already signed a contract with them I'd make sure to read your contracts thoroughly and be prepared to not ever see Chad in person, don't think he's going to come to your property to assess the project, and definitely don't think he's going to call you back. Do not go with this company. Save your money. Chad is a crook. He will definitely try to sneak in some charges. RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN. DON'T GIVE YOUR MONEY TO CLC. read more

Although I don't have them as my Lawn care provider, i can testify about their ethics. One of their employees while doing my neighbors yard had a rock fly out of the lawnmower & hit my window and break it. I understand it was an accident and i was very calm when I pointed it out. However now I've called more than once, and only got through once. Otherwise I've left messages. No one has contacted me about my window. i'm a senior woman with a disabled son and they are negligent in taking responsibility for their actions. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Now I need to go have a talk with my neighbors to see if they can assist me in getting through to these people. read more

I have been trying to find a Landscaping Service to help me with a flower bed and some other issues. I called CLC Landscaping who said they could come to my house and give me a quote. I shuffled things at work to meet with them. As I was leaving work, they called and said they were "really busy and needed to reschedule for the following day." Fine. We rescheduled. The next day - I again made arrangements at work to leave early and went home to meet with them. CLC Landscaping was a "no call, no show." The following day, I called THEM and asked what happened. They apologized and said they would meet with me the following week, on any day/time of my choosing. At this point I decided that my experience with them was not the most professional and said never mind. I'm still looking for a professional landscaping service to help me out. read more

We hired CLC for a large project in our new home. They did front and back. We were very happy with the entire process. The crew was polite and professional. REVIEW OF CLC LANDSCAPING CLC replaced our fences and gates; installed drip irrigation, stone, and sod; prepared a flower bed, and mulched where needed, finishing on June 15. Everything looked great; we paid in full for the project. Soon we realized that the drip irrigation was not reaching some areas. Chad, the owner of CLC, came out and said that the dripline would probably have to be modified and some sod replaced but that he wanted to wait a few weeks. Later on, one gate became hard to open, and the other had a hole in it due to a defective picket. Chad returned to check the gates, examine the dead plants, and look at the grass that was dying. He increased the flow of the dripline and told us that he would send directions so that we could adjust the flow ourselves. He said that some of the dripline needs to be modified or redirected. He also stated that he was really busy that week but would see that the work was done the following week (July 17-21) while we were on vacation. We returned to find that nothing had been done. While we had trouble communicating with Chad from the beginning of this process in February, he now does not communicate at all. We have sent countless texts and have called and left voice messages since July 24. We even sent photos of the the gates, dead grass, and brown plants. Chad has not responded. We cannot recommend this business. UPDATE: We recently received a 30-day past due bill from CLC for 15 CENTS! read more

I was SO happy to have started with CLC Landscaping! I was using another company for years that was not only "Exact Cash Only" (so inconvenient!), but they were very rude about scheduling and showing up when they said they would. CLC left a flyer on my porch, and offered an online quote service. They quoted me a price lower than I was already paying, PLUS an online payment service, PLUS a professional service that also allows me to contact the owner Chad who always answers me within minutes/hours. The workers are quick and also lock up behind them, after making sure everything is taken care of. Again, I'm a very happy customer! read more

I almost don't want to write this review, because I feel like CLC is one of my "best kept secrets." Chad and his crew show up on time, do a fantastic job and are competitively priced. I looked for a reliable landscaping company for so long--most wouldn't show up as scheduled and it was SO frustrating. I'm on CLC's biweekly schedule and they show up like clock work! From time to time, I get them to trim hedges or trees; remove dead shrubs; etc. They really take pride in what they do! read more

Called 2 weeks ago about getting some landscaping rocks removed from my yard. The gentleman on the phone was very nice and asked me to send over some information and he would send me a quote. After a week I never heard from him. I contacted him again and he claims he accidentally deleted my text and had no way to get a hold of me. He then said he would send over a quote shortly. It has been an entire week AGAIN and I have still not heard from him! Not a way to run a business! I will never do business with this company and will warn others from doing so as well! read more
