Short Story: If you need to have any teeth extracted than Dr. Wang is the one to go to!…read more Long Story: I've taken my family here for extractions and Dr. Wang has always done a good job. He is quite knowledgeable and will help answer all your questions. In my experience the extractions took less than 20 minutes from start to finish. In addition, you also have a follow up appointment one week after to ensure everything is okay. To be fair though my family has experienced complications related to surgery but I wouldn't say that is Dr. Wang's fault. It was just bad luck. If you need any help after hours then voice messages do get routed to his cell phone. Verdict: I know who to go to for help!

She is the rudest, meanest, most unprofessional staff member I've ever encountered at ANY dental or medical office. Here's what happened: last year, after my extraction, I was told my share of costs would be about 10%. Based on that estimate, I planned my flex spending. At today's visit, suddenly I was told my share is actually 50%, a whopping difference of $800. Naturally, I asked why the estimate changed. Instead of giving me a professional explanation, this woman practically attacked me. She was condescending, hostile, and flat-out mean. She told me I "shouldn't have listened to their office like it was a bible," and that it was my fault for trusting their estimate. Imagine that! Being blamed for trusting the doctor's own office! Her tone was nasty, uncalled for, and completely unacceptable. Patients deserve respect, not contempt. Dr. Wang may be a good doctor, but his front desk staff is driving patients away. Honestly, she should be fired. Dr. Wang deserves better representation for his practice, and patients deserve to be treated with basic respect.

Dr. Merritt is an excellent dentist, and I recommend him regularly and frequently. This review…read moreintends to highlight three ongoing experiences that led to my 5-star score and recommendation. (1) CULTURE. The office staff, assistants, and hygienists are always courteous, kind, and professional. They welcome me with smiles and genuinely care about me when they ask how I am doing. On some days, I even get hugs. This office has a very warm, small-town comfortable feeling that I really appreciate. The atmosphere they set helps to lessen the anxiety that I sometimes feel when I go to the dentist's office. (2) SKILL. Dr. Merritt has a very gentle touch, and he absolutely gives the best shots ever. I often found myself dreading the "just a little pinch" remark that most dentists utter as they warn patients prior to jabbing a needle into their gum somewhere, but Dr. Merritt's skillful touch has taken my fear of shots away because I don't feel any pain from the shots he gives when he starts to numb me before going to work. (3) QUALITY OF CARE. Lastly, the overall quality of care that I receive from Dr. Merritt and the team is above and beyond. I appreciate the appointment text reminders, the follow up phone calls the next day to check in on me, and the post-visit care instructions about what to expect what to do (and not do) so that I heal properly. At my last visit, I learned that I needed a Night Guard because of my incessant teeth grinding. Dr. Merritt took the impressions and fitted me for the guard and it fits very comfortably. I find that I am sleeping better and that the pain previously associated with grinding my teeth has improved immensely. In sum from the moment I walk into the door at this office, I know that the people who work here care about me and that the quality of dentistry and care that I receive is top notch. Thank you to the entire team.

I called my insurance company and they gave me Dr. Merritt's number. The office was kind enough to get me in right away. When I saw Dr. Merritt on 4/26 I described a sharp pain to the right upper tooth region. He thought that it could be a root canal issue. He said if it, "walked like a duck and quacked like a duck, then it probably is a duck." He did an extensive work up to illicit the pain I was experiencing but was unable to reproduce the pain. I did however have a lot of stress with my new job and he thought it was TMJ. On 5/4/216, went back for another exam still complaining of the pain. He once again told me that the pain was most likely due to the TMJ pain. He assured me that my symptoms were classic of TMJ and with my high stress job clinching was the issue. At this appointment he said I needed 2 fillings and we scheduled them for June. I then called on 5/17/2016 and talked to Laurie to tell her of the pain I was still experiencing and she said that they were booked and unable to get me in. It was in July that I was able to get my fillings done. I went in on 7/12/2016 and had fillings done. I then went in on 7/19 for a teeth cleaning. I had noticed irritation and a blistering bubble noted to where I was previously having pain and the filling had been done. I brought it to the dental hygienists attention. She immediately got Dr. Merritt. He got an xray and then proceeded to take a poking device and poke into my gum line. I cannot tell you how much pain this produced. He never once told me that he was going to poke into my gum line. It was horrible and terrifying the pain he produced. At that point he told me that I had an abscess of 9mm. He told me that I needed to see a specialist as now I was loosing bone loss and now had an infection. I asked him if was needing a root canal and he yes and that I needed a root canal. He then left the room. I was left sitting there dumbfounded of what had just happened. If I needed a root canal why did he not initially have me see a specialist in APRIL? Never once did he follow up on my pain concerns and ultimately I needed a root canal done. I saw him at the end of April and followed up with him in July and the issue had worsened. When I went to the endodontist that Dr. Merritt had suggested, the endodontist also said that the root canal issue should have been followed up with. He said, "a tooth just doesn't become necrotic over night." I was told that given the extensive work that needs to be done now will total close to $2,700.00. He should have sent me to a specialist from the get go. It shouldn't take pain, bone loss and an infection to finally send me to a specialist. It says that Dr. Merritt is an endodontist. Why is an endodontist sending me to another endodontist?
