I'm not sure why someone working in healthcare would show such a lack of patience and professionalism. She wasn't listening, repeatedly spoke over me, and her tone was very disrespectful. Patients and families deserve to feel heard and valued, and interactions like this create unnecessary frustration. An appointment scheduled by my dentist to have an extraction done. Was able to get an appointment within a few days. Very nice office, friendly staff and very relaxing, that's a good thing, since I was already stressed about having a tooth extractrd. I was comfortable and less anxious. I appreciate it. I wish I could give this place 5 stars a hundred times. Everything is fantastic here. Dr. Han is AMAZING and very genuine. I had to get my 5th wisdom tooth out super unexpectedly and within the week as it was causing infection and tons of issues. The front desk was super friendly and was able to get me in the same week thankfully. I wish I remember Dr. Hans nurse/ assistant as she deserves to be recognized too. I was nervous and she stayed to chat with me while I was getting numbed and was super personable. Referred here by my dentist for extraction of all four wisdom teeth, Dr. Han was great from start to finish! I was worried about a lot of things potentially affecting my recovery before scheduling the surgery like a prescription of mine that delays wound healing and taking antibiotics but my calls were always quickly returned with helpful information even over the weekend. I also really appreciated getting fit in for my post op appointment to be in person instead of on the phone with such short notice, everything healed well but I wanted a final examination and the peace of mind. I've been to this office previously plus my son had his wisdom teeth taken out here. I've been very happy with these previous experiences And I think Dr. Farzaneh is an excellent doctor. So five stars for the doctor himself, but minus three because of the office staff experience that I had today I called their offices today because my dentist had referred me to them for a consultation and extraction of a molar. The person that answered the phone The best way I can describe it was she was snotty right off the bat. I didn't even get to tell her my name my referring dentist or any other details and she said "we don't do that type of thing here. Your dentist should have explained to you what the options are and we need to know what that is before we see you." I told her that my dentist had referred me for a consultation to find out what needs to be done. Then she said that they were booked up and she would need to refer me to somebody else. Since the young woman I was speaking with seemed to either be having a very bad day and taking it out on people calling or else just had a bad attitude I asked to speak to somebody else in order to make the appointment. After a few seconds I heard a young woman's voice on the phone talking very fast saying "this is Sylvia we have an appointment . . . ". I didn't quite catch what she was saying because she was talking so fast so I said, "I'm sorry, who is this I'm speaking with again?" and after a long pause she said in a very irritated and stern voice, "This is Sylvia I am the office manager and I told you that at the beginning of the conversation." She was very snotty and irritated that I would ask that question. I don't feel comfortable going to a doctors office where their staff is allowed to be snotty and curt on the phone to potential patients. First class practice if I could give 10 stars I would. The team and office are amazing. My daughter had a procedure done requiring her to be sedated at 7 years old which was very anxiety inducing as a parent, they were so supportive and it was over before I knew it. My daughter brought her lilo and stitch stuffies for comfort and woke up to lilo and stitch playing for her on the tv, a very personal touch. Dr. Farzaneh was thoughtful enough to call at 8pm on a Friday night to check on her. The work done was exceptional and my daughter healed perfectly. Dr Farzaneh is super laid back and very calm which is very important when your doing surgery in my mouth! I was put under so I do not remember much but what I do remember is that I felt comfortable and safe when I woke up and that's all that really matters. I was still alive! This was long due. I got my wisdom teeth and bone grafting done. Very professional and excellent service.

I am extra dental phobic , hence my needing an extraction. I was already panicked when I walked in and was greeted warmly by the staff. Hailey called my name and the tears started. She hugged me and reassured me she would support me through this process. Dr Rich came in and I asked not to be told anything. He asked me if I would be okay with the IV placement and was incredibly gentle and patient. Within seconds I was sedated and I do not remember any part of the procedure. Not one scary sound, painful experience or moment! I woke up less than an hour later with Hailey bringing me back to reality gently and then she walked me out to my caretaker. It was an easy recovery of soft foods and rest and I would be happy to go back anytime! I had a wisdom tooth and a tooth in front of it extracted with a bone graft. I just wanted to know if my teeth, jaw were aligned correctly... could that be the cause of my slurring, something with my teeth. I've been to specialists (MRI's, etc). Dr. Farzaneh and his staff are amazing! I was referred by my dentist (Dr. Daniel Mabaet in San Ramon - Twin Creeks Dental) for an extraction. The entire appointment was seamless and easy. Walking in, the ladies at the front desk were prompt and courteous. They offered me hand sanitizer and were quick to make sure I understood everything. The entire office is COVID friendly and I never felt unsafe. Dr. Farzaneh has exceptional bedside manners and is very friendly. He is skilled in his dentistry and talked me through every step of the procedure. He was constantly checking to make sure I was doing fine and wasn't in any pain or discomfort. While everyone is friendly, I feel like there are added costs associated that they don't inform you of... Paid $75.00 co pay today to have my daughter seen for possible wisdom teeth removal. Was informed that there is a $285 required 3D scan that of course insurance doesn't cover "to make sure no additional teeth are hiding". Called Delta Dental and they informed me that some dentists have different requirements. If this is in fact required, then insurance should pay for it. This seems more like a ploy to collect $285 additional dollars out of pocket. No thank you, we declined and will find another practice that's not money hungry! read more

After my visits, I have sent him e-mails about other concerns and he responds via phone within a very short time within the same day. I have never had a doctor respond so quickly. My wisdom teeth needed to be removed ASAP bc one developed an infection on the gums due to the tooth placement and hard to reach area for me to clean. You guys, dr farzaneh was amazing! I needed to get it removed ASAP or I would've had to go to the ER bc the infection would've blocked my airway and I'd have trouble breathing. DR FARZANEH WAS THE ONLY SURGEON WHO WOULD TAKE ME TODAY. I called about 15-20 other places and most of them would try to find time for ONLY a consultation and NOT the extraction or they just couldn't see me for 3 weeks-2 months. He had injected the anesthetic in a muscle causing me not to open my jaw for a month or more. I would not use him or recommend him. Got my lower wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Farzaneh back in May. The initial consultation was short, sweet, and to the point. I got an estimate on the cost of the procedure as well as information on what to expect. When the day finally came, I went in a little nervous at first (I had never been put under before) and started counting back from 10.... 9... 8... I woke up an hour later thinking I had dozed off for a few seconds with two less teeth than I had arrived with and with absolutely no pain! Over the next few days I followed the instructions Dr. Farzaneh's team provided me with and am glad to say that I experienced almost zero pain despite not taking any pain meds (I think I took some over the counter pain medication the first night or two, and opted to not continue taking it after that). It is never fun when you have to have wisdom teeth pulled out. Fortunately for me, I was referred to Dr. Farzaneh. His office staff was very friendly and efficient. The office was VERY clean and a warm environment. They even had a nice flat screen playing a video explaining many of the procedures that they offer. Dr. Farzaneh was extremely professional and very nice. He examined my teeth made his recomendation wich concurred with my regular dentist. Along with my wisdom teeth being removed, I also had to have one of my molars removed and he discussed the future treatment plan for replacing this as well. He and his staff prepared me for my next visit for surgery with instructions and prescriptions ahead of time, so that my family would not be running around the day of surgery getting things together that I would need for the first 24 hours. I loved being prepared for this ahead of time! My appointment was at 10 am and the procedure began promptly and was over with quickly. I was home and back in bed by 11 am! I have had very little pain and following Dr. Farzaneh's recomendations and instructions the healing seems to be going as planned....we'll find out for sure at my follow up tomorrow. Overall, I have a great fear of dentists, so finding a great oral surgeon is wonderful. I felt completely at ease and not nervous about the procedure. I love walking into an office of a medical professional and finding a nice, neat and clean environment that immediately put me at ease. Meeting Dr. Farzaneh was a very good experience and I would recomend him to anyone who asked. If you need a good oral surgeon, you won't go wrong with Dr. Farzaneh. He is professional, caring and an excellent dr. Edited to add: At the time of my surgery, they estimated my co-pay based on what my insurance was to cover. It was fairly reasonable and I paid the day of the surgery. Approximately a month after the procedure, I received a check in the mail and a letter explaining that my insurance had paid more than the original estimate and they were returning the difference from my co-pay to me. After avoiding getting my wisdom teeth removed for over 10 years, it was time because one of them had gotten infected. Even though I live in San Jose, I took the long drive to Danville for my consultation. Dr. Farzaneh's bedside manner was incredible. He took the time to answer all my questions in great detail and made me feel at ease about the impending procedure. Day of the surgery: The front desk staff was very personable and made me feel at ease. I walk into the room and the nurse was also very comforting. The IV gets put in, I close my eyes - felt like I blinked - opened my eyes and it was all done. No pain, no swelling! Very nice and professional D.D.S that ensures you feel comfortable and OK with all procedures before actually performing any of them. The bad part is that they do not accept Medical insurance (only Dental). They wanted me to pay hundreds of dollars "up front" and then try to get reimbursed by my seperate Medical insurance coverage. I called another oral surgeon who was "out of network" for my particular coverage, and they gladly accepted both my Medical and Dental coverage (no money due up front prior to services rendered). I guess this guy does not like to have to file many insurance claims and then wait to actually get paid--not my problem. read more

I was referred to Dr. Farzaneh by my dentist to see whether or not I had to get my 4 wisdom teeth pulled out. The front desk was very nice and the office has a very welcoming atmosphere. They ended up taking x-rays of my teeth and Dr. Farzaneh explained to me why I should get them taken out. I wore braces for about 2 years so there is no way I want my teeth to shift later on down the road so I scheduled my appointment for the following week. They were upfront about how they'd do the procedure and the cost and it was easy to get an appointment and my prescriptions. Getting my wisdom teeth out wasn't a bad experience at all. They knocked me out so I didn't feel a thing. I had a follow up appointment 2 weeks later and everything went well. Our daughter also needed her wisdom teeth pulled and a month later we scheduled her...same result, in and out very quickly...again, rapid recovery with little swelling. The office staff was warm and friendly.....and on both occasions, Dr. Farzaneh personally called to check up on his patients the evening of the surgeries. Absolutely amazing. After my last wisdom tooth was coming in, it got infected, and I needed it removed quickly. I saw a dentist who helped me with the infection and I came to Dr. Farzaneh for the extraction. Having never been sedated nor had a tooth removed and being anxious in general, I was not excited about my consultation and I did not want to look at my x-ray or know any details about anything. He knew exactly what I was looking for, treated me as if he had been in my position before, and made me feel very comfortable. On the day of the procedure, he was the same way and called me in the evening to check up on me! Both Dr. Farzaneh and his staff are very friendly and very willing to help.
