Great little local pizza (plus) place. I'm told it has been in the town for decades. Very friendly counter ordering service. Food was brought out quickly. Now I am disappointed with Claudio's! THE GREED HAS NOW SURFACED HERE!!!!! Went there today and not only did I have to pay an extra 3% for using a credit card but I was also charged 11.3 % sales tax. See photo Associate told me unless you pay with cash you're being charged an additional 3% regardless of what your other form of payment is. I have spent well over $1,000 eating here over the years and now to be Gouged this way and now even to have extra charged for sales tax. There are over 25 places in this local area that serve the same type of food. CLAUDIO's is now GREED, GREED, GREED!!! Is the extra money going to staff in salaries or is it to get reimbursement for the free and discounted food that they give to certain people because of who they are or for the type of work they do in town? In addition, they can't follow instructions. I'm looking at the receipt now, which actually reads NO PEPPERS in the chef salad. Guess what, peppers in the salad. I'm allergic to peppers so I threw away another $8.20 because an employee didn't bother to f_____king read the ticket!!!!!! Outstanding food, service, and atmosphere. We popped into this place during the first "snow storm" (it wasn't a snow storm) because Alamo Draft house was closed due to....no snow. Seriously, these people are awesome. We are here on our second visit and watched one of the girls bussing the table next to us, wiped EVERYTHING down, table, chairs, napkin dispenser. Food was very good! I got a 6 piece wing, a calzone, cheese fries, & a glass of wine. I was so into eating the chicken wings that the bone slipped for a second in my mouth & scratched my gums. Personal problem, of course. I was just really enjoying the chicken wings. It's a very similar vibe to other restaurants with a similar menu (Anthony's, Italian touch; you name it). The service was QUICK - but I don't think restaurants should really be reviewed on how quick, snappy, etc because my experience was around 1pm where it's not a peak time to be eating. Claudio's has come to my rescue more than once. We have used them to cater for large parties (+150) and small family gatherings. Many times I've called them last minute and they are friendly and accommodating in every way. The veggie pizza with the broccoli rocks, as do their fresh salads ( none of that pesty preservative crap) with banana peppers. Their pastas are all well received by anyone I have ever hosted. So, I just get out of surgery, I want pizza and I'll be damned if I order from the *ehem* confused people at Domino's. We ordered easy, pepperoni pizza and a cannoli. Delicious. Fast forward. I'm watching House of Villains, daughter has the car. I want deliciousness and i think Claudio and his annoying ass had something going on. i order a veggie stromboli and a cheese steak for my man. Okay, you know you're in for an experience when you get an APOLOGY for the restaurant delivering EARLY. I have never had that happen before. That's customer service right there, above and beyond and anyone in any industry should take note. That being said, onto the pizzas. My wife and I ordered strombolis. We are used to strombolis being shrunken things that both of us (not big eaters) are able to kill off ourselves. WAS THIS A MISTAKE? YOU BETCHA. These things were monstrous in size, flavorful and some of the best pizza I've had in quite a while. The only reason this place doesn't get five stars from me is because I want to give some of their other fare a try. But I strongly suspect I'll be upgrading the review on the next try. Went here to meet my son and his family for a holiday get together dinner. You order & pay at the counter and they bring your food to the table. The attention from the time you walk in to the time you leave is impeccable! Service was quick and the food was delicious!! Several employees checked back with us to see if we needed anything. I will be back as I was chatting with an older gentleman while ordering, I think he may have been an owner, who told me they also have cauliflower pizza which is good for my Keto diet. I'm middle of the road on this restaurant. I haven't had the pleasure of trying all of the items so giving a 1 star isn't fair. 5 stars for the customer service I experienced but only 3 stars because the food items I did indulge on were so so. got 2 pies, wings, salad. Pizza is thin but decent, priced a little higher than I'd like to pay, especially since the next day it's only $5.99 for a large pie. I decided to want pizza on the wrong day! The wings were not cooked very well so the breading was greasy and not appetizing. Ask to have them fried 7-10 minutes longer and that should be perfect. was staying in a local hotel so the microwave made them better after 6 minutes. HAHA. Salad is salad, nothing exciting. Just glad I didn't order it for me. The staff was great. Everyone that approached the counter asked if I was helped and the young lady that took care of me got me all the utensils and condiments I needed.
