Cool staff. Giant slices. Delicious pizza! My daughter loves this place. In addition to the food, the vibe is fun for kids. Their own little sitting area under the stairs and a neat blue sink in the bathroom. read more

First if all I walk in to this casual eatery and they have blueberry soda! A delicacy usually only available in New England. Then I get the plates. A lot. I think it's because they are thin and I have to double layer but nooo broski it's bc the slices won't fit on 1 plate. The pizza is enormous so big they offer 280 bucks for someone to eat the whole thing in 28 minutes which is prolly impossible for an average Joe. The breadsticks were good too and were normal sized. As a pizza connoisseur myself I can highly recommend this place. read more

Colossal sized pizza that you can order by the slice. (Avg $6/slice or $44. For whole pizza). Very cool building. Taste was good. Crust was yeasty. However 3 stars bc the toppings kept you yearning for more, Very light and I repeat VERRRY light on the cheese and sauce, almost non-existent. Will prob try somewhere else next time. read more

Such a great experience coming here. The staff were all very nice checked on us and made sure we were enjoying the food. The menu is easy to read and has good options. Pizza tasted amazing they also provide red pepper, Parmesan, and herbs to add to your pizza. You're given two plates to fit the huge pizza slices! I recommend pushing the pizza off the edge of the plates as you eat it makes it much easier to eat. The ambiance is fun lots of art and cute decor. I loved the mural of the different animals so funny! read more

Huge pizza is an understatement. This place is a favorite for our family, either to grab slices and sit in the window or pick up a pepperoni to bring home. Service is fast and I like the ambiance of sitting in the window. read more

Delicious pizza, kind staff, fun-nostalgic decor! We would recommend if you're in the area.

The pizza was sooooo good. Crust was crispy and thin but not cracker-y. It was just right. The toppings on these slices were immaculate. Delicious. Open late. Workers are friendly. This will be an easy go to spot in the future. I'm already craving the next time I go. read more

Wonderful place to grab a slice! If I lived near here, I'd love to pick up a whole pizza. They always have cheese and pepperoni, and rotating special flavors. Today's flavors are sriracha sausage, garlic mushroom, and bacon jalapeño popper. My sriracha sausage is delicious. And they have a nice selection of craft beers and craft sodas to go with the pizza. read more

Benny Meleto's - Daily flavor, sriracha sausage. The crust is an excellent oven baked crust. - Pizza Near Me - Winchester, Virginia

Whoa. These slices are HUGE!!! My sister brought me here while visiting, she said it's a must try place! It is in the perfect location right downtown near all of the cute shops and restaurants. And their hours are perfect for those out on the town! Being from NY pizza is in our blood. The slices are not just HUGE but also delicious. I ordered the caprese slice, and I couldn't believe that every slice was $5! So cheap! And I ate every single bit of that massive slice. I loved the art on the walls and the place was very clean, especially because I can just imagine it being full of drunk college kids at all hours! read more

The pizza here is pretty good. The service is good as well. I'm giving 4 stars because it could be more consistent.

Best jumbo slice around. Definitely recommend. One slice will have you full. Check them out

I have loved Benny's pizzas for almost 10 years now, and the OG plain cheese pizza still hits the spot today as it did when I enjoyed my first slice in Roanoke VA. Crust is thin and crispy, not weighed down by ingredients or grease. Garlic slice was absolutely delicious! I cannot wait for the loaded baked potato slice to make a comeback. $5 is a bargain for how large one slice is. My only suggestion is blending the vegetables a little better into the "Garden Special" pizza instead of just sitting on top. read more

Benny Meleto's - Taco Pizza and Garden Special. As you can see two slices take up the average size large pizza box. - Pizza Near Me - Winchester, Virginia

Alright. The pizza is the size of a small carpet but taste like the gas station pizza. Really really large gas station pizza. Its not bad and i definitely do not want to push you away from going if you have an army to feed and can spare $40 for average at best pizza that has super thin crust (i ussually like) with very minimal sauce and topping. The guy working was super helpful and was leaving for bootcamp in a couple weeks so the conversation helped ease the 45 min wait. Look, this place will not be best pizza you've ever and it certainly will not be the worst. read more

Benny Meleto's - Reference in size - Pizza Near Me - Winchester, Virginia

Came by after dropping my son off at Shenandoah for a quick lunch. Super yummy just like all the other Bennys

First off, these slices aren't 'huge'. Maybe I'm just a NYC snob, but this is a regular slice in NYC (as it should be evywhere). The crust is like a thin slice of plastic; it had a nice crunch but that was about it .... It was too thin. We also bought a pie to take home. I was able to carry a 28" pie with one hand... ONE HAND!! I do #CrossFit, but a real 28" pie should require two hands and not be aerodynamic. To me the flavor of the pizza comes from the sauce ... This one had none. How do you make a pizza without sauce?!?! I really wanted to see what the hype was all about. Honestly, there is better tasting pizza in Winchester (King's at the Mall for example). I guess at 2 or 3AM if you're drunk and need something to soak up the alcohol, this may be the spot. But at $5 a slice (pepperoni), I think I'll just buy another beer and call it a night. read more

Benny Meleto's - I should not be able to hold a proper 28" pie with one hand. - Pizza Near Me - Winchester, Virginia

Your staff doesn't wear gloves when making food. To go from handling cash to shoving your bare hands into the ingredients, while ripping apart the slices, is totally unacceptable. This is how people get sick... Walked out and asked for my money back. Apparently this is common, seeing other reviews. read more

Huge Slices for a good price. Pepperoni pizza was great. Would recommend this to any pizza lover visiting in Winchester.

Being from NYC I have eaten pizza in all 5 boroughs from "legends" of pizza. When I saw a guy walk out of Benny Meleto's with that giant box I had to know what it was all about. We stopped in Winchester on our way home from Tennesee with no thought of having pizza. We actually ate Thai food for dinner. I just couldn't not get that giant pizza. Ordered the big pie. Ate it in the car on the way home. This thing is not a gimmick. Great dough that made a really tasty crispy crust and base for the sauce and abundance of cheese. Normally pizza sauce outside NYC is loaded with oregano which can be overwhelming imo. Just a damn good pizza despite it's size. Open a Benny's here pls! read more

The pizza isn't very tasty. It probably is a hot spot after bar hopping in old town. I don't like the sauce so I won't be back.

Wrote a message to them for nurses week at a large facility. They couldn't respond nor tried to work something out. You can see when someone reads your message. This is a big deal and thought they would want to help in a small town to show appreciation. Not so much luck. I won't be going here. read more

Love this place! I used to go to the one in Blacksburg, and I am so excited they opened this one. The pizza is always good and you get a lot for the price. The full pizzas are perfect for a party, or to feed a large family. The seating is limited, so it's better to plan to take it to go. Definitely try it! read more

I've been an OG Benny's guest for years now. While in Summit Point, WV, I saw that there was a Benny's nearby, and insisted that we stop on our way home. The pizza was delicious as always, but the service was shoddy. The cashier was rather rude, but definitely didn't dampen our love for Benny's! read more

Great pizza come in for a slice. JUST COME HUNGRY.....hahaha!! Yummy pizza fun atmosphere. read more

The slices actually equal two slices of pizza. The first thing you will notice the seating is limited. They have a good selections of drinks, I believe they serve 7 styles of pizza as far as we could tell. Garden State which is spinach ricotta and garlic, Road Runner chicken fiesta corn, and salsa, or you can choose sausage or sriracha sausage, basic pepperoni. The crust was a good texture crispy and chewy overall good. The overall pizza taste is good, perhaps a little more sauce would be better. read more

This place is great. The slice's are as big as your head! Just the right amount to quench any pizza cravings.

What is there not to love about a giant slice of New York style pepperoni for only $5 bucks that would count as a small pizza at most places? I mean seriously, this thing is like the size of a small traffic cone. If you want artisan pizza go somewhere else. If you want a huge honest slice at a great price go to Benny Meleto's. read more

I love their pizza. I never knew it was here until last year and I've been living in town for years. Nice little spot hidden downtown. Reminds me of a NY style pizza. They sell by the slice. This pizza place is just what Winchester needed! The pizza slices are absolutely ginormous and also delicious. One slice of pizza there is equivalent to 3 slices of regular pizza! First time eating in this establishment. I suggested this to my Wife and we both agreed this place is awesome. The atmosphere is like being in New York city's old pizzeria. The price is pretty decent and the staff is friendly. Although the seating area is limited, we don't care. The pizza tasted great. We only ordered 1 slice for each and we wanted to order another one but we don't think we can eat another because they're big slices haha. I recommend this place. Finally a place downtown that's worth stopping by for a quick bite! read more

I never write restaurant reviews but this time I feel it is a must. Do not waste your money here! Even if the pizza was fresh it still would have been bland at best. Paid $38 for a large and you are only paying for the novelty of it. There is nothing good about this pizza. It has very thin crust, almost no sauce and it was equally lacking cheese. Absolutely no taste! I ordered ahead and the pizza had to have been sitting all day. It was inedible. Ate about half a slice only because I was starving and the rest was so old it was too hard to chew. Only went here because everyone said how delicious it was and my son is a huge pizza lover. It was anything but delicious and a was huge disappointment, if anything. I also watched the cashier go from taking my card and order to grabbing another customer's pizza by hand, without washing, and with no gloves. They can have their pizza back. I would like a refund. read more

Just moved to the area so was looking for a local place to support. Well, I found it. They have a charming store front in the historical area of Winchester. Inside looks old (not dirty), kinda brought me back to NYC and a small pizza shop you find on the corner. Staff was friendly. Oh, and the PIZZA?! We underestimated the size of these bad boyz. We ordered 2 slices per person and it was a little much but one slice is equivalent to 2 to 3 slices of a reg piece from wherever. Def recommend read more

Really? 5 bucks for that slice of heaven doesn't seem like enough. BEST Pizza in Winchester. Pepper on the radio, I have found my new happy place, AND they have Escutcheon beer. Enough said. Get here, do it now, can't believe it has taken me so long. read more

We walked into this pizza shop really hungry after a shitty Milano bar in the corner . As soon as we walked guy in the back making pizza rolled his eyes and head in a disappointment. That was rude given we were there 10:50 and you guys close 12am. We had to wait more than half and hour for a 2 slice of pizza . But girl in the front was super nice . Great attitude and she even offered free pizza next time for a wait but we don't live here . We are visiting from different state. read more

I agree with the previous review about a the pizzas here being just huge gas station pizzas. It was fun to bring in a pizza that took up our whole dining room table and see the look on my husband and teenage daughter's faces. Other than that, the pizza is just kinda eh and it seems overpriced. I think this place is a "once and done" spot. read more
