We have ordered from here several times for pizza and delivery of other foods, but we have never eaten in and we loved it! Loved the service the time it took to get our food could have been stretched out a bit. Everything from the wine to the ex entree's were delicious. They give you so much food we will be eating it at least two more times as leftovers. The restaurant is quiet and the style of the decor is very Italian. You will not be disappointed!!!!

I've been dining here since the '90's and I'm a tough critic! everything is superb. the pizza is second to none and I love their cheesesteaks. I often drive 40 minutes just to get their food. Highly recommended!

We have had a few meals here, never to sit always to go or delivery. Great cheese steaks, and the pesto pizza has amazing flavor. After the somewhat dry chicken I substitute with mushrooms and go vegan. The flavor is great as well as the price. This evening (night before a snow storm and the other pizza place in town had a gas leak) The restaurant was pretty much slammed with walk ins to dine, to go and pick ups. The service was still great, the young ladies behind the counter kept things moving smoothly, patrons were getting up to get the door for people carrying too much. The seating area is spacious, nicely decorated and has plenty of seating. Seat your self by the way.

Castiglias was my absolute favorite pizza place in Front Royal when I went to school there about 10 years ago. I remember always ordering a large pizza and finishing it all by myself. However, when I came back just recently, I must say that the pizza is not as good as I remember. I feel like the dough is thicker (I really liked it thin) and the taste just isn't the same. It's still decent but doesn't hit. A plus is it came out freshly made. Spaghetti is alright. The star was definitely the meatballs, sooo yummm. It felt homemade and quality. The portions were hugee so it's worth the money. The Caesar salad was good too! Bread was ok. Service was great and felt homey. They expanded the space and I liked the art in the wall. Overall a decent visit if you're in Front Royal!

Yes, Fratelli's is very good…read more I was wonderfully surprised at a recent dinner for 2 at Fratelli's. We started with a lemon drop martini - delightful. The cream of crab soup was top notch - a bowl would have been a meal in itself. Then came a salad big enough for 4 (delicious) and fresh out of the oven bread (enough for 4 also). The chicken breast with crabcake was massive and very tasty. The veal parm was sooooooo tasty and also massive. We have at least 2 more meals each. We each had a wonderful chocolate martini as dessert. The service was attentive and helpful. The food came out quickly but we were not rushed. The price? To me, unbelievable (in a very good way).

We started with the cream of crab soup and crab dip. I honestly didn't get much of a chance to try the crab dip because I was too busy eating everything else, but my friend said it was really good. They also brought bread and a house salad to the table. The salad was fresh and really good, and I especially appreciated the olives. I love olives in a salad! For drinks, I ordered the white peach sangria, which I really enjoyed. I didn't realize sangria came in so many different flavors, but I'm glad I tried this one. My friend ordered the New Old-Fashioned, but he wasn't particularly impressed with it and said he probably wouldn't order that one again. For my entrée, I ordered the seafood fettuccine Alfredo. The portion was HUGE, and they definitely weren't stingy with the seafood. It came with scallops, shrimp, and what I believe was jumbo lump crab meat. There was plenty of everything. I thought the dish was good when I first had it, although I felt like it was missing just a little something--maybe a touch more seasoning. The pasta was also more al dente than I personally prefer. But here's the funny part: I thought it was even BETTER the next day when I reheated it! It was delicious. My daughter ordered spaghetti and meatballs, and she got one HUGE meatball. I cut it up for her, and she tore that thing up! She ate the entire meatball and quite a bit of the pasta, so that was definitely a win. Her portion was also generous. My friend ordered the steak and crab cake with asparagus, and even though I don't eat steak, that plate looked SO good. He said it was really good, too. The service was okay. Not bad, just okay. We arrived a little early for our reservation and had to wait briefly, which wasn't a big deal. There were just a few little things that could have been better. I asked for paper napkins and never received them, and I had to ask for more water instead of anyone noticing that my glass was getting low. I was also surprised to find out they don't have Wi-Fi. That wasn't a dealbreaker for us, but it meant my daughter had to use my phone's hotspot for her iPad. Despite those little things, the FOOD is what stood out to me, and that's what matters most to me when I'm going out to eat. The portions are generous, the seafood was plentiful, and everything we ordered was good overall. Would I go back? Absolutely.

Two younger waitresses were standing in the back talking with someone they appeared to know, and after about 15 minutes, another staff member finally asked if we had been helped. When I told her we hadn't, she immediately took our drink and food orders. The atmosphere was pleasant and family-friendly, with a relaxed vibe. Once our waitress took over, she was amazing--attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. We were on vacation and had a craving for Italian. Thanks to Yelp for finding this for us (which is…read morewhy I love Yelp!). First I have to give a shout out to our server Ashley! She was amazing. We were there for a late lunch (maybe could be considered an early dinner) and she was the only server on the floor. There were 4-5 tables the whole time we were there. Ashley handled it like the pro I am sure she is. Every table taken care of and checked on, every drink refilled promptly, every table's meal timed PERFECTLY. I was a server for years and I know it's a juggling act to time your tickets. Ashley was flawless. That being said, we ordered Caprese, because if it is on the menu, I am ordering it. Super smart that they are still using Roma tomatoes this early in the season. That means they know quality. So many places just stick with the beefsteak, or whatever big ones they can get without caring about what is in season (so the tomatoes are mealy). Spoiler alert, the larger tomatoes aren't quite there yet. If you care about quality, you are serving Romas right now. They are the most flavorful. This place makes their own fresh mozzarella (scroll through all the food pics), and it shows. Great start to the meal! Our meals came with side salads - Hubby had the Cesar, as always and I had the house. Not sure if they make their dressings in house, but it sure tasted like it. I loved the extra touch of the dressing coming out in a little metal boat so you can add as much or as little as you want. And yeah, the boat. How many places bring your dressing on the side in little plastic containers? Most of them. So this impressed me. The bread - oh the bread is super good, as well! It was warm and came with a yummy garlic butter already slathered on. I did hear from another table asking that plain butter is also available, but the garlic butter is worth it if you are a garlic lover. Hubby's Manicotti was well done. A decent amount of ricotta on the inside and the sauce was really good - not too sweet, not too acid. This is a big thing to mention, as I didn't taste it. That came from Hubby and he usually doesn't comment like that. My spaghetti with garlic and oil was very good, but there was SO MUCH of it! They could easily cut that amount in half (or more) and save some good cost. The place is clean, so are the bathrooms. We would definitely return when in the area again!

At first we were getting worried because for each town we passed through, there were no place to eat and we choose not to fast food food chains. Kept driving and then found the cute town of Keyser. We actually passed this restaurant but because the outside look of the restaurant kinda drew our attention, so we u-turned and went in. So first things first, you have to order & pay first before sitting in, there is a counter as soon as you enter. The place is a bit small, they had about 10 tables, four chairs a piece. Looking at the menu, I must say they are pretty cheap for italian. We are used to a little more pricier in our area so we were a little worried the portions were going to be small, but I was so hungry I didn't care. My husband got the Chicken Parmesian $13.50 and I got the Baked Ziti with Meat $11.50. Each plate is served with a salad and bread. Salad came out first, it was a big salad. Ask for the house salad dressing, it is like a vinaigrette with spices, really good. Then they brought the bread and butter, one full roll for each of us, was really warm. Really soft and oh so good. Then came out the plates meals. Omgeeeee...... I thought they gave us too much but no! That is how they serve their meals. My husband's plate looked like there was a pound of spaghetti and tons of mozzarella all over the plate. As he swirled the noodles, he saw that there was layer after later of cheese and sauce. Plus 3 chicken parmesan cutlets. Most places dont give that much. And mine.....let me tell you... my meal was so heavy I was rolling laughing. Each scoop of pasta was coated with mozzarella cheese and meat with sauce. Everything was delicious!!! But we couldn't finish our plates, so we took it home. We also had to try their Limoncello with Mascarpone filling cake. It was super soft, full of flavor and so worth it. Must get it!! But I believe it's not an everyday dessert so it might be different on different days. So keep and eye out for the small sign of Dessert of the Day. So keep in mind, huge portions!! One order can feed 2 or 3. This place is a gem and I'm so glad we chanced it. A must go to, you won't regret it!!
